'Rusty' aka Alistair Stewart will not communicate with me by email - a feature of his 'service' many have experienced. So a robust response/review to the completely misleading, untruthful reply to my initial review is justified ...... .........

My suggestion to anyone considering an order with this guy is to read the many 1* reviews first. If you want BMW/Mini Satnav upgrades this store seems to offer a far better service - such as FSC Codes.

The reply from 'Rusty' was as follows ................

“Very unfair review its stated in the listing if the cars software has been updated by BMW you will need cable & laptop Also no usb has been returnded to me if it comes back will refund the £10. the £25 is non refundable as stated in the listing”

“Very unfair” - absolutely not, quite the opposite, factually correct and rather too generous.

“Stated in the listing ………”. Because I ordered direct with you by emaiI, I never looked at your website. You advised me which upgrade I needed with absolutely no caveats or mention of technical issues, so I ordered and paid.

“ Non refundable…..” As above, no mention of this in my direct email dealings with you.

“No USB has been returned to me” - I DON’T BELIEVE YOU which means I consider you to be lying! My address labels are printed in a BOLD & LARGE typeface, they never fail to be delivered. It was returned in your packaging with my bank details inside so, LOOK AGAIN - you’ll find it.

If you supply unusable software, as standard, you should offer a refund, obv not the whole cost. This would be considered a fair, honest ethical policy, something your business lacks.

All this because 'Rusty' refuses to give me a £25 refund - short sighted and indicative of unethical business practices.

Rusty was super helpful and very happy with the update. Clear instructions and worked a treat.

Ordered update in the morning & received the download in the afternoon. Downloaded it to drive the following day & uploaded to the car.Got a bit of guidance from Rusty & its all completed now.

Delighted with my purchase, have a BMW imported from Singapore and the upgrade has worked perfectly. I had a few questions about the process and Rusty answered them immediately by text, even though it was a Sunday. Very happy.

Rusty is a genuine guy that cares about his customers ... used him for years would always consider him first for anything Sat nav ..

He said the Sim card was plug and play, IT WAS NOT. Would not do a return. There is a difference between a return and just wanted a refund??

I needed to change the head unit behind my satnav and hifi in my BMW as the original failed, which can cause problems when updating maps (I know from previous experience). I shared this information with Rusty on purchase, and asked him to load everything onto a USB stick for me. It worked first time. Highly recommended.

Rusty has been very helpful & patient. Very pleased that the update has finally been successful after a long process caused by me using an old enet cable & saving necessary files to a USB stick incorrectly. More than happy to recommend him.

At last, someone who provides an excellent product at a realistic price. Brilliant service, super communication and quick delivery. I got my Euro 24 update on an USB and plugged in to my BMW X3 entered the code provided and uploaded within about 25 minutes and works perfectly. I will be recommending to family and friends if they need an update. Happy customer.

Perfect product, exactly what I needed to put Apple Car Play on my wife's BMW X3 (having been told by the dealer it was not possible!). Rusty's detailed instructions made a fairly complex process (for me) straight-forward.

When I had issues getting the downloaded version to work (which was 100% my fault, not his) he helped, guided and ultimately resolved the situation for me. Recently purchased maps for bmw MK4 (High) system (2022). The dvd works fine and is updated. The seller responds to messages immediatelly.
Would purchase again if a newer version will be released.
