I have been a subscriber for sometime…

I have been a subscriber for sometime now. It is truly wonderful! It is always a delight to receive the candles and so well packed and delivered. I was so worried that Lauren was giving up business...however, still here! Thankyou Lauren, you are a star! Jx

Love this, I get to see & smell a variety of candles etc brands so I can then go out & purchase full size for gifts or myself!

Awful and a con

Awful and a con.

Bought a 3 months subscription for my mother. Contacted them at the beginning of Feb to cancel my subscription so it doesn’t “roll on to the next month”. They have NOT got back to me. And charged me for another THREE months today.

Thank you for your response. I sent a message at the start of the month to yourself and also to another subscription service (for flowers) at the same time to ensure they were cancelled as I had bought both subscriptions for Christmas presents. I had a reminder in my calendar on my phone to ensure this was done. And I assure I did send an email via your website. It’s disappointing there isn’t a phone number to call?

I can see via your FAQ page you are able to cancel online apparently but am at a loss to see where you actually do this via your account. All it has is name, contact details, and billing information tabs, there is no “cancel now.” I am unable to see where you hit “cancel” on the interface.

Might I also make the suggestion that when subscriptions for months are due to expire, you send a reminder to people instead of just “rolling on.” In this instance, you rolled on not for one month, but another 3 as per the original subscription! It hardly seems appropriate given your own admission that “mistakes happen.” I am annoyed however that I did indeed send a message to you, but clearly your system hasn’t registered it.

Thank you for the refund. And thank you for now cancelling the subscription at your end.

The boxes were well received and were lovely, but suggest that the websites interface and communication is improved.

Hi Anna, please accept my sincere apologies for the lack of reply. I have checked and can find no correspondence hence my failure to reply. I have however replied to your email of this morning and prior to reading this review had replied explaining a refund is no problem at all. Cancellations are always possible via your account on our website as explained in the FAQs but I accept mistakes happen and cancellation and refund is never a problem, I am most definitely not in the business of conning anyone, I'm sorry you felt like that.

I hope you can rethink this review and appreciate mistakes do happen and not a reflection of the service or boxes you received to date I hope?

As a side note we do offer gift subscriptions which are non rolling plans. They do not recur. The plan that was chosen in this case, accidentally I imagine was a recurring plan. Thankyou for your edited review, I'm saddened you continued with the 1* but I can only do my best to resolve a situation which in this case I have. Thankyou for your business to date x

Lovely subscription box

Lovely subscription box. I always look forward to receiving this. Theses candles are always thoughtfully selected based on the season and you get a range of different types .

Way too expensive

I already payed about 70 euro for my package and had to pay an extra 25 euro to receive it :(

I contacted their helpdesk, reached out through facebook, no answer... After I received the package I cancelled my subscription and explained the problem again: still no answer.

So disappointed...
