Good prices comparing to other retailers. Books arrived quickly and well packed. Even cashback was paid out at a record speed. Would recommend.
Stunning Illustrated Editions at an Amazing Price
After watching a video review of the Harry Potter Illustrated Editions, I knew I had to add the collection to my bookshelf. The books usually retail at £171, but I snagged them on Scholastic for £79.99, and with the 20% promotional discount, I paid just £63.99 – an incredible deal!
The packaging was flawless. Each book was individually wrapped and then carefully placed in a larger box, arriving in perfect condition.
Considering some reviews I’d read about damage from other retailers, I was so relieved.
I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The care Scholastic took in packing these books really shows, and they look absolutely stunning on my shelf. Highly recommended for any Harry Potter fan! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm not happy about a product I recently received. The Popcorn Pen was terrible! The ink ran out after I wrote a few notes on a sticky note- didn't last long enough to write sentences!!! Glad I didn't PAY the $4 they charge for it!! SMH
Replacement for "Cursed Treasure" book arrived this morning, thanks!
My 10 year old daughter bought a book from Scholastic through her school recently. The book entitled "Cursed Treasures" arrived with a faulty binding issue, resulting in some of its pages falling out. I contacted Scholastic via the email provided on the invoice, which came with the parcel. Their customer services staff was excellent. They promised to send me a replacement book, which I have gratefully received this morning.
Thank you Scolastic Customer Services for that. My daughter will be very happy when she comes home from school this afternoon and sees her book in one piece again!
Fabulous Service
Fabulous Service. I was looking for some particular books that I was struggling to find elsewhere. Scholastic had them on their website, but they weren't in stock. I ordered and contacted customer service to ask about delivery. They responded quickly with the relevant information and spot on time, I received my books. Good price. Easy to order. Fabulous customer service and, via my purchase, I earned books for my local school which was an unexpected bonus. Thank you.
Scholastic outright dismissed MinaLima…
Scholastic outright dismissed MinaLima from further work on the HP illustrated editions even though they were the original art designers! This is shameful and disgusting behaviour of Scholastic, where apparently some traitors work who value every single dime of profit more than having the original creators continue their magic. Again, dis-gus-ting people at that company. I wonder how they can stomach their own reflection in the mirror.
Very Very Very Very bad
This was a scam and they had charged me for something I had not asked, they did not provide a recipe and that's stupid

in the maths pro I got the question… right but it said it was wrong
in the maths pro I got the question wrong because it asked me if I thought my answer was reasonable so I clicked yes obviously and it said it was wrong because I thought it was reasonable the same thing happened with my friend and I got the rest of the question right
Fabulous service
Fabulous service, great revision books! Highly recommended
Why have I been buying elsewhere?
Ordered the wrong books and realised a day later. Helpful customer service cancelled the order for me with no fuss at all. Great selection of books at good prices with helpful guidance on appropriate reading ages (much better than other online retailers where it is hard to be sure it is age appropriate)
Excellent customer service
I’m really surprised about the bad reviews as my experience was excellent. I looked online for a set of 10 Dav Pilkey Dog Man books. Everywhere had them at £60-70 and Scholastics price was £40. The parcel arrived promptly but unfortunately it was outside my door slightly damaged. I contacted them by phone, it was easy to find their contact details and quick to get through to a real person. Only 2 books were damaged, I emailed photos, every email was responded to within 24 hours. 48 hours later they had agreed to send out replacements for the 2 damaged books. I was very impressed with their friendly and efficient service.
Please do not trust these publishers
On the 6th of August 2024 the talented illustrators (Minalima) commissioned by Scholastic revealed they were no longer completing the Harry Potter special edition illustrated series. A decision made entirely by Scholastic. Scholastic then made an Instagram story saying they were “pleased to inform” they would be “passing the baton” onto some other illustrators to complete the series.
There has been complete uproar over this decision with Scholastic refusing to explain their decision. There is a petition with over 16,000 signatures and it’s growing every single day. Their Instagram is flooded with thousands of comments under every post to bring #minalimaback. New authors and their work struggle to be featured on their social media because of this and they still refuse to address it.
Not explaining has lead everyone to believe this disingenuous move was just so Scholastic could go with someone cheaper. Showing that this company puts profit over consumer integrity and the loyalty to its authors and illustrators.
What Scholastic fails to understand is the reason people bought these books in the first place was because Minalima are masters of their craft - the original prop makers from the Harry Potter films, the love they put into these books shows. Look them up if you don’t already know the books we are referring to, it is clear to see why they are treasured by so many.
On top of the thousands of signatures in the petition, their absolutely flooded Instagram and the hundreds of emails they’ve received, they still refuse to address the situation. I would not trust this company at all. If you are an illustrator they do not value your work and will try to go with someone cheaper. If you are a consumer of their books they do not care about you. Go with a different publisher!

Amazing service!
Ordered 2 Harry potter illustrated books for a very good price! Books were delivered within 2 days by UPS and are incredible quality!!
Very smooth order process - nothing to fault though was concerned after reading some of the reviews…
Thank you very much!
Terrible payment system
Terrible payment system. Cannot use cash at Childrens school book fare. No staff there to take payments, no itemised receipts. Not good at all
I purchased a full collection of books…
I purchased a full collection of books for my granddaughter's birthday and could not be more delighted with my buy.
Almost half the price it would have cost elsewhere and it came 48 hours later, and I got to donate 20% of my cost in book vouchers for a local school of my choice
Everything was perfect
Everything was perfect. Everything from the ordering process as well as my books arrived as described in perfect condition. Thank you!
The price was the best I could get. The sweeter part of the deal is that I get to make a contribution.
If I can make a suggestion, please enable apple pay on your site.
Books are much cheaper on Amazon.

Now refuses to take cash, clearly wants to go out of business.
Disgusted by pressure selling at school
I am so, so sad about this whole concept. I've just had an email from my daughter's school to say that Scholastic are coming in next week. The children are going to be shown all the books on Monday and Tuesday and they will come home with a Wish List so they can ask their parents to buy them at the book fair on Wednesday and Thursday. Wow, talk about pressure selling!! Some parents will be pressured to part with money they might not want to part with and might not have. Others will have to break it to their disappointed children that no, they can't have the books that their teachers have spread before them like a feast and got their hopes up about! Most of us are feeling under financial pressure at the moment. My neighbours can't afford to have their heating on. This whole concept just makes me feel sick. And to make matters worse, the letter from the school promises that the books are 50% off RRP. I've checked out the Scholastic website and they're not. They are MUCH cheaper on Amazon and a lot are cheaper at Waterstones. This is just a horrible, heartbreaking con.
