Scott Sports have been tested and tried…
Scott Sports have been tested and tried and proven to be the best goggles on the market. I would not use anything else.
Do not honor bike order with high prejudice for customer
I ordered a bike in early September 2020, less than a month after its release, with a late March/early April delivery schedule.
I learn a week ago that my bike will not be delivered, with no trade or arrangement.
The prejudice on my side is high :
-During the waiting, I ordered specific wheelset/accessories to match my bike, they are now irrelevant and are useless cost
-Lost 10% discount from my LBS
-Bike price increase from 10-15% during this time
-There is no bike stock for 6-8month
Loss: 16-18 month of bike wait / 1500 k€ budget
I also know that orders taken 1 or 2 months after mine have been delivered
I can not recommend a brand who not honor a contract with no compensation
Low quality and low customer service…
Low quality and low customer service and the quality they sell to peolpe not spouse to be sold in Uk for the value they sell it’s scammers and the customers service they have not even valid for chicken shop .. Ido not recommended . Waste of money and time
Poor customer service
Placed an order and paid for, item still not arrived. Sent off customer service form more times than id like to remember, sent emails also. No response to any of these and no contact number to speak to a human. Quick enough to take the money and now no way of any contact......poor customer service. Not a happy customer
Horrendous waste!
My husband purchased a top of the ranch MTB helmet 2 years ago. The only fault is that the chin strap and liner have de-laminated. He wrote to Scott to replace these items only to find that his only option is to buy a full helmet (although heavily discounted). Where is their eco policy? This is an appalling waste of resources to thrown away a perfectly good piece of kit! Replacement liner etc sourced from a small company via Amazon, no wonder they are doing so well. Shame on you Scott.
Great service from the team at Scott
Great service from the team at Scott. Very quick to reply to my email. Went above and beyond providing guidance and having to research my specific model. A pleasure to dal with.
WORST BIKE BRAND EVER
If you are after a bike, that stands by their warranties and offers good customer service, then DONT buy a Scott.
I bought 3 bikes from them.
2 of them had warranty issues - 1 within 6 months, they acknowledged the defect, but said I should of bought the bike back after 30 days and told me they would do nothing else.
NEVER BUY A SCOTT BIKE
Warranty not transferable?!
Warranty not transferable?!
Bought a new Scott Genius
Eride 930 in June 2020. Can’t ride it because of shoulder issues. Wanted to sell it,had a buyer, he dropped out because Warranty is not transferable.
That is lousy customer service. Will never buy from Scott again and tell everybody I know.
Awful returns process. Avoid.
OK purchase and delivery, but returns process absolutely horrendous. Unless you know 100% that what you’re ordering will be exactly what you want, avoid this retailer.
They don't even deserve 1 star
When writing this review, I see that there are only 10 reviews to date on Scott Sports…9 of them are Bad, Poor or Average, the 1 ‘excellent’ review simply has ‘good service’ in the comments. This in itself should speak volumes about this company and personally I’m sorry I didn’t do my research before spending a significant amount of money on one of their carbon road bikes.
One of the main reasons I did buy their products was that their website outlined that there “is a warranty for frames for 5 years”. Without going into the details of how or why I needed to make a frame claim I have since learned that the warranty is completely fictitious and is as real as their customer service; non-existent!!
I contacted my bike shop about the crack in the frame (this did not occur due to a crash or collision – the bike is meticulously maintained and serviced) and they kindly told me to contact the supplier, who then passed me directly onto Scott Sports SA. Without actually physically seeing the bike they told me that the frame warranty was not applicable – how can this be?!
When it suits them, they will reply to your emails which is pretty rare, then they bounce you over to their Swiss legal department for more fluff and as with the rest of the ‘customer support team’ rarely answer your emails and when they do, they do not answer any of the questions you have asked them.
Although their products are very visually pleasing, my advice to you if you are in the market for an expensive carbon road bike; DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY with this company because in my experience as soon as they have your money they do not care about you and will not honour the warranty that they say comes with the product.
I know people who have crashed bikes and cracked frames and the bike company’s have offered replacement frames, sometimes at no cost and sometimes at a heavily discounted prices, but the point is that these companies were happy to engage with and help the customer unlike Scott Sports who just seem to ignore and hope they go away
Arrogant behaviour
Arrogant behaviour. 3 month old scott scale 960 where the rearwheel several times in a row continued to break a spoke after repair. The bike has a special boost qr in the rear which no wheel-companys makes wheel with. That means that when Scott says its my problem, and dont want to supply a new rear wheel(not even if i paid for it) , i am stock with a bike, where i cant find another standard wheel.
That arrogant attitude from the danish Scott company, means that i am completly finish with Scott. Never again.
My son purchased a item on next day…
My son purchased a item on next day delivery but it arrived 2 days later! Then he returned it and asked for the next day delivery charge to be refunded which he never got, also the item retuned was £100 it’s a month on now and he has got neither refunded, he even had a confirmation email saying they had now received the goods back allow 7/10/days for a refund, it’s now over 30 days and ignoring all emails !!!
I bought a Scott Sportster 30 in 2013…
I bought a Scott Sportster 30 in 2013 and although I was a little disappointed with its geometry overall I was very happy with it. Each year I go on a week's cycling holiday on the Continent and ten days before this year's trip, whilst cleaning and checking it, disaster struck. I noticed a slight movement in the saddle when lifting it and at first I thought that it simply needed tightening but on closer inspection I found that the seat tube had broken immediately above the welding where it met the seat stays and cross bar. The frame was deemed a write off by several cycle shops and it was suggested that I contacted Scott to see what they would say. To my amazement they simply didn't want to know, saying that it had gone past the five year warranty and if it had been within it I would have had to prove that it had been regularly maintained by a qualified technician As a professional engineer and a keen cyclist for over 60 years I have done most of my own maintenance, only taking it to a bike shop for them to deal with the latest designs in cycle parts it had for which I couldn't deal with. That said in my opinion no amount of training could envisage or anticipate such a failure. I have two other bikes, one 57 years old and the other 20 years and neither have any signs of frame failure. The five bike shops I went to in the hope they could fix my bike all said that they had never seen such a fault before although subsequently one of my cycling friends says he knows people that have. The bottom line is in my opinion it shouldn't happen and Scott took no interest in investigating what could have led to serious injury. As a result of my experience I have replaced the bike AND its not with a Scott!
Good service
Let down by customer service
I bought 2 pairs of Spur glasses in November - the delivery/packaging of these was meticulous and the glasses were great. Unfortunately I had to return one pair because the spare lens would not fit in the frame - the product was faulty. Customer service was very slow at replying when I contacted them. There was no offer to replace the faulty glasses or lens (all I needed was the spare lens). If I ordered by the same process again I would have to pay for shipping (my original order qualified for free shipping) and it's not worth it for me should the next pair have the same problem. Very disappointed with the customer service.
