Two beautifully crafted signs for my friend in her country house with just a name, no number; one is a hanging sign visible for Royal Mail and couriers to help them home in on the property once the satnav has got them there, and a plaque by the door, no worries. With both, Em patiently went through the process with me of getting exactly the signs the way my friend wanted them, especially the plaque with the exact spelling and positioning of the words, a ‘Wow’ from my friend as we unwrapped it, she is very happy with both signs.

From my very first enquiry, I knew Ema genuinely cared about her craft, but nothing prepared us for the finished result.

Our bespoke 600 x 200mm ‘Tintagel House’ slate sign has arrived, and we are absolutely over the moon with it. The quality and craftsmanship are simply outstanding. Every detail has been beautifully executed, from the hand chipped rustic edge to the deep engraving and gold lettering. It looks even better than we ever imagined.

Throughout the process, Ema was incredibly helpful, honest and passionate about her work. She took the time to explain how each sign is individually handcrafted from cutting the slate and hand chipping the edges through to the deep grit blasting and hand-painting. It was refreshing to deal with someone who clearly takes so much pride in what they produce.

This isn’t just a house sign; it’s a handcrafted piece that will be proudly displayed at our home for many years to come.

If you’re looking for a truly bespoke slate sign made by someone who is passionate about quality and traditional craftsmanship, I honestly couldn’t recommend Ema highly enough.
