My partner and I had a very disappointing experience with this agency when trying to view a one-bedroom flat in Hounslow.
We booked a viewing one week in advance for a Monday and took time off work to attend. Close to the date, we received an automated message rescheduling the viewing to Wednesday, with no prior discussion. When we queried this,we were told the property had a guest and there was no access. Although inconvenient, we agreed to the new date.
The viewing was scheduled for 1pm on Wednesday. While we were 30 minutes away, the viewing host informed us that he did not have the keys, as there were supposedly none in the lockbox. We therefore had to wait in the reception area. After waiting around 30 minutes, it became clear there was confusion about the lack of keys in lockbox
This was during our lunch break, and we had travelled around 45 minutes to Hounslow, needing to be back at work by 2pm. Eventually, the host discovered seemingly unaware that the flat was occupied that day, which explained why there were no keys. This information clearly had not been communicated to him in advance.
At that point, the only option suggested was to ask the reception staff for a spare key. By then, the experience had already left a bad impression due to repeated miscommunication, wasted time for one hour, and last-minute surprises.
While the viewing host himself seemed apologetic, the overall situation reflected poor coordination and lack of transparency from the agency. Viewing was rescheduled and effectively cancelled without proper communication, making the process stressful and unprofessional.
Based on this experience, I would not book with this agency again.

AVOID at all costs. SCAM COMPANY - SCAM MARIA from Operations
We are posting this review to document for the ICO and raise serious concerns about how our personal data was handled. After sharing our experience, the company publicly disclosed our full names and business name and made unverified allegations.
Scraye admitted to sending our personal data and other potential tenants to 4,000 agencies across the UK. BEWARE from this scam company.
Publishing personal information raises significant legal issues under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
We have taken and retained all evidence of this disclosure, and due to the distress caused and the retaliatory nature of the response, we have reported the matter to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for assessment of data protection breaches made by Scraye and their operational team.
AVOID at all costs.
We paid a holding deposit and they refused to return it within the legal 7 days. No replies, no updates, no communication just an AI bot and a liar employee 'Maria from Operations'. We’ve now had to escalate the case to the Property Redress Scheme and Trading Standards just to get our own money back.
They take your money then do not respond.
Reporting this company and Maria from Operations today.
After doing our research this has happened to several people and companies.

This company has been extremely inconsistent with its services, giving me a wrong address and passing me on to the WRONG AGENT to view a property in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT area of London with a completely different layout. I had to arrange two viewings in a row, which I missed because I WAS AT THE WRONG ADDRESS AS PER SCRAYE INSTRUCTIONS, and no agent met me there. My "agent" was with a different agency in a different part of town at a completely different address. They had marked the wrong address as Anson Road when the actual flat that was being advertised was in Willesden Green. Just awful. And to end it on a high note, after confirming my first viewing, I received an automated, AI message that my viewing had already taken place, and what did I think about organising other viewings for other flats?! I call Scraye, and the agent I talk to just says she has "no idea" what's happening, but I think I do. I think someone might be running a scam.
Edit: FYI, this update has been requested by Scraye and is not done out of my free, voluntary desire to do so. After about a week after this lovely incident, someone *finally* contacted me about my not-viewing. Scraye's official explanation was that the agent I was supposed to be seeing was NOT a Scraye agent, but a collaborator/third party that they worked with and listed property for, and that it was THIS agent, not Scraye, that mixed up the dates and the properties, ending up in Wilesden Green when he should've been on Anson Road. Scraye said that this company has several properties, and they manage those by themselves, but ?? Scraye somehow helps by listing their properties and finding prospective renters for them??? Convenient, right? Also, worth noting that the agent I was supposed to meet explicitly stated over the phone that he had *no* affiliation with Scraye, so I suspect a data leak might have been the more probable explanation here. Nevertheless, I was thrilled to be contacted and finally have someone from Scraye talk to me, even though no one took accountability. This agent from Scraye reassured me that all she wanted was to ensure customer satisfaction and that she was genuinely sorry about my experience. She kept on saying how it was unacceptable, what happened to me, and how no one should have to go through that. I believed her, and believed her even more when I got a gift card. I thought, hey, maybe all this has just been one big misunderstanding, right, and Scraye actually tried to help me after all. Turns out, not the case. For the past week, I have been consistently pestered by the same agent to amend or ''even delete'' my review because they gave me a gift card??? for online groceries??? Worth under 30 pounds?? By the way, none of this was mentioned over the phone, of course, or when I was offered a free gift card. Scraye just said they wanted to ''make amends" and genuinely cared about my experience. Now I have to amend or even delete this review? For a gift card I didn't even redeem? Nice try, Scraye, but you people just proved to be the opposite of a customer-centric firm. I have been relentlessly contacted, so that my review might be amended to ''reflect what really happened. Well, here it is, folks. Just be careful who you rent with - for a firm, especially a real estate firm, caring about reputation is NOT the same thing as caring about their customers. Keep your gift card, Scraye.

Disappointing! (UPDATE)
Initially, things were great. I’d found a lovely property and was assisted very well. I had put offers in for 3 properties in the same block of flats after viewing. My offer was accepted for one, after letting them know which one I preferred. I got worried as I’d received an email saying my offer had been cancelled for the property I wanted but I was reassured to say that because I’d put an offer in for multiple, it was a cancellation for the others. I paid my holding deposit (which was a faff in itself) and completed my referencing. It wasn’t until today after I chased by text and call, that I’d been told my offer was cancelled and the property was no longer available. This was incredibly stressful to receive as I’d been told to chase today, and then be told the property just wasn’t available anymore?! Confusing to say the least. I tried to call to have a person actually speak to me about this but there was no answer when I was transferred. It’s a bit of a joke really, I wonder when I would’ve been told had I not chased! Waiting to receive my holding deposit back. But overall, it has been disappointing.
UPDATE - having been personally reached out to by Aram, I now understand that the issue was not on the fault of Scraye. I really appreciate that my review was acknowledged and was dealt with in a professional and kind manner. Thank you very much Aram!
