I made a purchase from Scruffs direct, all was great, the delivery arrived. Rather than being able to return and exchange for a different size, items have to be returned for a refund then re-ordered. I returned the items on 24/03/26which arrived with Scruffs on 26/03/26. These were then lost until chased these up on 07/04/26. now a refund is being processed which can take upto 10 days.

The worst workwear out there , I brought some boots 7 weeks ago and there falling to bits , contacted customer support , but as I brought from Amazon it’s there problem not there’s , Amazon said it’s Scruff that needs to deal with it
They have got to be the worse pair of boots I’ve ever owned even Nike don’t fall apart in 7 weeks or even cheap work boots , I will never buy scruffs again
Shocking quality , I’m super angry I’m being robbed off for £50 boots !!!

Disgusting customer service
Bought multiple Scruffs items, including three pairs of the same boots, but one pair has a manufacturing defect and both soles are falling off after being worn for one month , despite the untruthful reply below Customer service has not advised multiple times to go the retailer only after days of no contact Becky replied as if I had never contacted them before and again was extremely slow and did not respond for days like the other reviews on here and extremely unhelpful — I was passed between contacts, ignored, and told to return to a retailer who most importantly no longer stocks the boots , I have asked Becky via their fb for a manager to contact me which to date which has been an extended amount of time has been ignored and no one has contacted me , I won’t buy Scruffs again and am switching all my employees’ workwear to Dewalt, whose support is far superior

So I have been waiting for over a week…
So I have been waiting for over a week for a pair of shoes to arrive. No tracking supplied and just an order confirmation email. As of today I've still not received anything! Messaged via the "contact form" on the website and 2 days later I had a reply from someone called Tracy with a screenshot of DPD tracking for an item that clearly wasn't mine being handed to someone in a white car in a place that is not my house. I have messaged them on Facebook, emailed and sent more messages very a the contact form and had no reply. I will be seeking a refund for this and you should really be ashamed of your terrible customer service. It was my first time using Scruffs on a recommendation from a friend but never again! You won't stay in business if this is how you run things, dreadful!

Do not shop with Scruffs
Steer WELL clear. Abhorrent company “under new ownership 🥴”. Use other trade brands out there, and don’t give these people a single penny of your money; fraudsters.
Zero contact regarding return, that I paid for myself, in over a week. Four emails sent. All ignored. Proof of delivery to them last Tuesday, supplied. Nothing. Luckily I paid via credit card and will be claiming against them, section 75 protection. Despicable company.

Not overly impressed. Great sale prices on a few items, which is good. And relatively quick despatch. But that’s where it ends.
Had to pay £5.95 postage (which in my eyes is excessive), and had to pay, myself, to return items as didn’t fit. Another £3.50. To then pay the same £5.95 to order another size. An exchange process would be great.
Also. My return was received by scruffs on Tuesday, yet had zero confirmation of return/refund, and although my original email was responded to, a further two emails have been utterly ignored. Will give them a couple more days to process, otherwise I’ll be making a credit card claim against them in order to get my money back.

I've had 3 pairs of trousers since…
I've had 3 pairs of trousers since August last year and pretty disappointed with how long they've lasted. They've all ripped in near enough the same place and I've changed to a cheaper option which hasn't yet let me down. I won't be buying from them again.

Loose stitching on 10 month old boots
The stitching came loose on my 10 month old work boots so I contacted scuffs on Friday after work and by the time I got home from work on Monday I had a new pair waiting for me. Fantastic experience with their after sales team.

Terrible quality stuff. Wore a gilet about 10 times and the zip fell off. Thing is, it was a cheap zip and not YKK as they say it is. Told them I’d happily send it back to them so they could check their quality rather than throw it in the bin and they weren’t interested! Won’t buy anything else from them

I bought a pair of work pants
I bought a pair of work pants. Which I liked and fitted well. So I ordered a second pair same trousers same size. Yet the pants didn't fit. After speaking to other trades people, they have had the same problem. There manufacturing is all over the place. Had totally the same problem with work tops. How can one pair fit and the others won't even come close to fastening.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, I had bought a pair of scruff hydra safety boots which last 1 month material on top of toe split and could see toe protection underneath. Contacted them via email with photo of purchase ( from screwfix) showing date of purchase as well as photo's of the boots, I have had no response back and I'm out the £84 the boots cost as well as having to get new ones! 1 year warranty,the boots wouldn't have lasted another month! Absolute joke will never buy their products again. 😡

OK so I've been wearing Scruffs…
OK so I've been wearing Scruffs trousers for more than a decade and have been a loyal follower wearing the 3d Trade Pro Trousers exclusively for my work a a sole trade builder/plasterer.
However.....Their recent reincarnation/upgrade of these trousers is the "Flex" trouser. What a great shame. These are not a patch on the 3d Trade Pro. They are awful!!! They have gone from a cotton base to a Nylonand d Polyester base. It makes you sweat, when you crouch the trousers stick and they eventually break through at the knee because they can't slide on your skin. Not only that, when wearing knee pads in the pad pockets they actually rub you sore on the shin where the base of the pads forms a harder surface on the inside of the trouser leg. Why oh why go away from cotton 😕 sad times

Scruffs eco jumper and hoodie
Scruffs eco jumper: XL felt more like a LARGE, really tight around the waist area, arm length was fine
Scruffs eco hoodie: XL felt better, but the arm length was about 4 inches longer than the jumper, completely covered my hands, and the hood was massive.
I really like the style, but if I order the next size up, the arms on the hoodie will probably be down to my knees

Bought Scruffs Hardwear safety boots off ebay....brand new and boxed for £29.95 (as i always buy scruffs work trousers thought these would be great)
Looking through reviews someone else has had a similar experience....the inner heels have disentegrated within 5 weeks of use...opened a case on ebay...because had over 30 days no refund,contacted paypal who said because they think i have altered product no refund....the product is altered because it's damaged after 5 weeks lol....all my safety boots have lasted well over 12 months...these boots are useless

What a shame
What a shame. I've used scruffs workwear for the best part of a decade. For the most they have been faultless. The latest pair of trousers I brought had the zip break within two days, I understand these things happen however the lack of communication from the support teat is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable for customers that have been handing there money over to them for a long time. I have tried to make contact via email AND social media and have been ignored on both. (Update) I have changed my review from 1 star to 3 as a replacement has been sent out)

Bought some of their brand new work…
Bought some of their brand new work trousers, they have started doing everything in slim fit, work for 10mins and you will be sweating your b*llocks off and have stitching digging places you dont want stitching digging into. Have always bought scruffs for my work trousers and raved about them to colleagues but wont buy anymore and will tell anyone who isnt the width of a toothpick to avoid them. Would return them if I could. Hard enough getting regular trousers that arnt slim or skinny, never thought I would have this problem with work trousers. Very disappointed.
