Sofa got delivered Tuesday paid over £1600 for it and what can I say looks like a child's made it . Stitching is all over the place so the cushion covers are pulling and have ripples all over , there is a big bulge in the arm that is noticeable, none of the materal is flush and neat it's all over and looks a mess , there's dents in the material . It's well below satisfactory standard , not fit for purpose as I dare not sit on it , not as describe . Can never get hold of anyone on the phone lines at all waiting 2 plus hours. Went into the shop and tried to be fobbed off and told to let it settle as its new. These faults are not going to settle in fact it's prob going to get worse . Iv emailed also but get no responses of acknowledgement or anything . I want a full refund but appently it doesn't work like that a technical team come out to assess it . We'll how's about this I'm going to charge SCS a daily storage rate for having to have this pile of rubbish in my house. Consumers are entitled to a full refund if the item is faulty , not fit for purpose, not of satisfactory and not as described. So I either get my money back or I'm going down a legal route .

This was my first visit to SCS so wasn’t sure what to except. Zafar approached us and as I’d expect asked if he could help. We had an idea of what we wanted so was fine to walk around the store but he told us you can have any sofa in any material they had. ( was not aware of that 😀). No pushy sales at all but helpful , bought one simple as that and pleased with service and how helpful he was.

I ordered a sofa in Dec and was told that it will take roughly 8 weeks for the sofa to be made and delivered. The delivery date passed, and there has been absolute no information or update from ScS. I called their customer service number in Sunderland and waited for 30 mins with no reply. The online chat function does not work either...

Update on 11/03/2025: After several attempts, I figured out that they don't make the sofa that I ordered anymore, so my order was cancelled by them more than a month ago. And they did not tell me (their customer!). The call agent connected me to the shop, and the guy at the shop said, "I can offer you an ex-display sofa with the same price". What a way of doing business! I ordered a custom-made sofa, and they offered an ex-display item with the colour that I dont like and at the same price. I immediately asked for a cancellation and a refund and they said they will do it for me.

Sent an email to ScS social media team with the order number per their suggestion in this review.

Update on 12/03/2025: I talked to a call agent again - They said that they would send me a cancel confirmation email and issue a refund within the day. Nothing happened until the end of the day.

13/03/2025: No cancel confirmation or refund from ScS as of today! Horrible experience.

Battery pack not delivered. Wanted to give a little surprise to my daughters about new recliner sofa but unfortunately no power pack delivered and they now dislike the new addition to their room.
Hard working and very cooperative crew and fit the sofa as per my instructions but were in extreme hurry.

Smooth delivery. Put the suite in place. Put on the legs and cushions. Took all packaging away. Coudnt ask for a better team. Lovely lads. Thank you. Well

We was promised a £100 refund for the inconvenience that has been caused by this company once the furniture has been delivered this was finally end of January however we are still awaiting this so called insulting payment

Had new suite delivered on 18th February. We were informed of Expected delivery times and how far away until delivered, which was as time given. Full care and respect was given to bring suite in to the room, it being unpacked and situated where it was to be placed. Suite was tested to show was fully working. In all a great delivery, both lads friendly and efficient in what doing, credit to company. Suite is lovely very happy with experience, from visiting store, choosing suite to delivery. Will recommend

The delivery men were Kyle and Mathew were amazing.

The sofas look lovely only downside the back of the sofas are a little big which makes the sitting area a little small.

Today’s delivery lads were excellent. The tracking service email needs looking at because the email I recieived initially had the wrong date on it

Zafar was amazing! He was super helpful in helping e fjnd a compact 2 seater sofa! I got a fantastic deal on the showroom clearance. And he worked with me to do a 6month 0% interest payment plan +insurance to cover my purchase! Zaf explained everything in great detail.

Just received our new sofa's, and I can say I'm very happy with them, (and I'm a fussy person). The staff at the show room were very nice. I visited at least three times to make sure I was making the right choice and every time I called the staff were there to help with any questions.
The delivery guys John and Matt were very nice, polite and very helpful. Keep up the great work your doing.
