UPDATE 14th AUG 2026. Just been contacted by my bank as store are disputing refund and have LIED about the access details being disclosed at the sale!! How very disappointing and unprofessional

Bought and paid in full for a sofa 2nd Jan 2026
Been caught out with delivery before and were assured that there would be no problems this time. There have now been 3 unsuccessful delivery dates in May and June with no apology
Were told that the salesperson would call. He didn’t
I then called in on 11th June and spoke directly to the manager Graham. He took no ownership of the failure but said he would email customer services. That’s 10 days ago. Heard nothing. I emailed the social media team who also haven’t responded.
I have rights to cancel under the consumers rights act. It appears the store and customer services are choosing to ignore this fact.
I would recommend avoiding this company and definitely wouldn’t advise paying up front. Shocking outfit 😞

We originally walked into Poltronesofà just to “have a look” and left promising we’d think about it. The next day, we were back and bought a sofa!

A huge thank you to Darren, who was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He was friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable rather than stressful.

What really stood out was the personal service. Darren even “borrowed” some fabric samples from the display wall and let us take them home for 10 minutes so we could check them against our décor. There may have been a joke about him hoping nobody noticed they were missing! 🤣 But it genuinely helped us make the right decision.

It’s that kind of personal touch that made all the difference. We never felt pressured, just looked after.

Now we’re excitedly waiting for our new sofa to arrive. If it’s as good as the service we received, we’ll be absolutely delighted.

Salesperson Paul was very friendly, helpful, and had excellent product knowledge. He gave us plenty of time to make our decision, and there was no pushy sales talk. Overall, it was a very pleasant shopping experience. We're looking forward to receiving our sofas!

Went in for a wee look and was very impressed. Sales person Darren mcguire was very informative and helped us to pick a suite that was suitable for our needs. Lead time was as expected 12 weeks. Looking forward to our new purchase.

No hard sales pitch from Aaron at all. Just I'm here if you need anything. I had a few questions about the size of the sofa and was reassured it comes in manageable parts and will be built in the livingroom.

The delivery were very caring and professional with my mother who is 92. They ensured that it was positioned exactly where she needed it and couldn’t be more helpful. Well done Robin and Dan.

When I first walked into Poltronesofa at the Kingsway West Retail Park Dundee I thought what a beautiful shop, so lovely laid out. I had seen the sofa I wanted on a tv ad so I had a good idea what I was looking for. I stood inside the door and said to my daughter there it is that’s the one that I want 😊 When I sat on it I couldn’t believe how comfortable it was it was perfect. We hadn’t been there very long when a very nice gentleman, a member of staff came over to ask if he could help and he certainly did. Jim was his name He showed me other materials and colours I could choose from but I knew I had the one that I wanted 😊

We had a look at other sofas but once I’ve made my mind up I don’t usually change it.

My daughter who was with me liked my sofas so much that she is buying 2 as well 😊 I can’t wait for my sofas to be delivered!!!

Darren made our visit to the shop good experience. HE made everything so easy until we got the suite we wanted.

Ordered a sofa 17 weeks ago with the correct colour we wanted. Was delivered last Tuesday the WRONG colour. Even the delivery men said it was the wrong colour. Put in a complaint and they have come back with that this is the colour we picked and there is nothing they will do and if we want to take it further to get a solicitor and obviously they have all our money will not take this sofa back and refund us. Never ever will we buy from this company again. Terrible. So even having the warranty does nothing. It’s their word against ours. WE ORDERED CHARCOAL NOT GREY. Unacceptable.
