Fantastic Family Holiday
We had a fabulous time at the resort. The lodges are superb and views are absolutely stunning. The kids loved the pool and hot tub on the terrace and I very much enjoyed the spa treatment on site. The management has dealt very promptly with requests and staff has been very friendly. There is lots of family friendly activities in the surrounding area and great restaurants on site and nearby village. We had a very relaxing vacation.

Still waiting for a written response…
Still waiting for a written response from the company to the issues raised by members.
They seem to be happy to rely on a small cohort who have come together using Facebook to feed offers and promises to put things right to others in the group. We're still waiting for what we purchased to be restored.
I wonder how many other members are out there that have given up and handed their weeks of ownership back or are still paying their maintenance without being able to access the accommodation they want, when they want it. The experience with Seasons started out well, but the accommodation has become rundown over the last 10 years and its difficult to access the accommodation your entitled to.
UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO SEASONS' REPLY (6th November 2023)
UPDATE 2 - SEASONS REPORTED ME FOR NAMING THE DIRECTORS, AND REQUESTED I CHANGE MY REVIEW
I've taken this to a public forum as Seasons have not engaged with "all" members in discussion. I have tried; I've spoken to members of the Owners Team twice (this year) and I've had various exchanges to raise my concerns with THE FEMALE DIRECTOR who included in her reply: "please note that we will not be engaging any further, with any Member, in relation to this decision"- That is in relation to access to Laugharne, for those members designated "Core" (Sic) by the company in an email in December 2022.
Subsequently, THE MALE DIRECTOR has entered discussions with a very small number of Members (2) and my point above about relying on a small group of members relaying information via Facebook relates to that. The company have not written to all members to say that there has been a short term reprieve (to the end of 2024) for access to Laugharne, it has happened by word of mouth. Hardly a way to engage with your customers, especially as many will not have found the Facebook group.
We are still waiting on an answer regarding long term access to Laugharne - how long should this take?
I now know that many members have taken the option to hand back their weeks of ownership, an amnesty of sorts that Seasons have offered. Members can clearly remove their tie to years of maintenance payments that go with the challenges of being a timeshare member of Seasons Holidays, but these contracts run to 2069 and many members are just 1/3 of the way into that membership/contract and have therefore only received 1/3 of their holiday entitlement. As far as I'm aware, no compensation is being offered for the remaining 2/3rds and Seasons gain the inventory to sell again.
The problem with directing people to your ownersteam (the Sales Guys, so let's call them that) and I've spoken to them twice this year, is they only want to sell an upgrade. Where are your customer service team to deal with customer concerns and complaints.
The Sales Guys then add to the woes of members, by telling them that access to other sites in the portfolio will reduce through to the end of 2029 (As Keys contracts mature) and that without upgrading (at the cost of many thousands of pounds for each week of ownership), availability of resorts and accommodation for "Core" members will be very limited. What are we to believe without a formal statement from the company.
Seasons have brought about two classes of membership. Those that bought into the "Lifetime of Luxury Holidays" (quoted from my welcome letter), only for Seasons to redefine "Luxury" and tell "Core" members that they can't access "Luxury" without handing over thousands more to upgrade on top of the maintenance payments made each year.

Owner at Dylan’s Coastal Resort
We are new owners of the most beautiful Canto lodge. We bought the lodge to hire out but we also spend a few weeks here ourselves and the people are just lovely to deal with. It’s all so easy and relaxed. The spa is just beautiful and the views are breathtaking.

Above and beyond. Would 100% recommend!
We stayed at the Dylan Coastal Lodge for our 'minimoon' and could not recommend it enough! Apart from the obviously beautiful setting the staff couldn't do more for us and went above and beyond to made sure we were well looked after. This is our second time staying at the resort and we can't wait to go back. The spa is stunning and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her treatments. The staff even went as far as leaving us a beautiful bouquet of flowers for us to to say congratulations. We would 100% recommend!!

First year as owners
We have just come up to our first anniversary as owners at Dylan resort. Although we mainly bought it as an investment for income from lettings we have also enjoyed some perfect mini breaks. The lodge is amazing, the view is so perfect it surprises us every time we arrive, the spa is beyond expectation in every way. It really is an amazing place. Staff are particularly helpful if there are any small issues to be resolved and very speedy. The lettings via the company are particularly good taking all the hassle out of that aspect. ( I sold a holiday cottage to buy my lodge as the pressure of dealing with guests was awful!) I can highly recommend Dylan resort to all, guests and owners.

Perfect escape for a long weekend.
We stayed at the Dylan Resort in Laugharne again recently after staying for just under a week last year after our wedding and again it was absolutely perfect. The lodge was spotless, beautifully decorated and well stocked for items you’d need for cooking. The view across the estuary were breathtaking. Every hour was different light and tide and it was stunning to watch. Also having a hot tub on the deck is a total treat even in the rain!
The main house was lovely - the staff couldn’t do enough to help. We had the pool to ourselves practically as well as free use of the sauna, steam room etc. it is very high quality and you could see the views across the estuary while you swam. Drinks and food upstairs means you can spend most of the day down there and then the lovely drivers are more than happy to give you a lift in a buggy back up to the lodge!
It’s also a quick walk into town where you’ll find lovely pubs, restaurants and the amazing Deli which should not be missed.
We will be coming back again very soon as it was so peaceful and relaxing. I’d highly recommend anyone looking for a long weekend break to visit the Dylan Resort.

Residencies at The Dylan Coastal Resort
Our Residency is our "home from home" with luxury fittings throughout from the extremely comfortable beds to all of the fixtures and fittings. Including:
6 seater corner sofa
Large UHD Samsung TVs (with ALL builtin Apps - Netflix / Prime/ Disney / iPlayer etc etc AND a BluRay Player!
Dedicated High Speed WiFi throughout
Fully fitted kitchen inc Dishwasher / Oven / Hob / Microwave / Fridge Freezer QUOOKER hot tap / Breakfast Bar and dining area inc 6 seater table etc.
Separate utility room with washer & dryer
Outside we enjoy a large glass framed deck overlooking the wonderful views of the Taf estuary complete with Furniture, HOT TUB and Roof Terrace (again with furniture).
The resort has a WORLD Class SPA (Gym, Treatment Rooms etc) and Swimming Pool complete with an excellent bar and restaurant, membership of which is included and the site offers a concierge service to take you to and from you Residency - just call reception!
We have owned our Residency for 2 years (having stayed at the resort for many years previously) and, when we are not using it ourselves, we rent it out. This is all managed by Seasons for us and we simply receive a bank transfer every month - so we make a profit each year!
One of the other things that is, to us, very important is the staff. They look after and manage our Residency making sure its always ready for our arrival. Most of them have been there for many years and know us and usually call us before we arrive just to check if there is anything we need. Everyone is very friendly and helpful which helps make our visits all the more pleasurable. Having a fully managed property gives us great peace of mind.

Not a happy bunny
Looking at the reviews, and the responses, it seems that Seasons churn out the same replies to any negative comments but manage to write individual responses to any that are positive. Funny that. Anyway, I am sadly posting a negative response - have any other members suddenly received an automated email (those that have bookings coming up) advising that Seasons will now be taking a £100 deposit against damage and saying that there is now a portal on which members have to enter all the details for the booking??? Whilst I don't have a problem in principle with a 'good faith ' deposit, I do have a problem with this unilateral decision which has been taken without any consultation with the members - or at least, advance warning that these new systems are being implemented. At the very least it is rude - as the email I have sent to all and sundry at Seasons has said. Of course, I have not as yet had any responses - and that includes from one of the Directors. Members, in Seasons' eyes, seem to be on the lowest rung of the food chain (apologies for the mixed metaphor) now despite the fact that their money has been used to help pay for the smart, refurbished accommodation that they now sell through Luxury Lodges and (in some cases) Landal. Anyway, it's not going to change is it - the amount of negative reviews and the total lack of response from Seasons shows that. I am venting my wrath on Trustpilot because Seasons, as a company, just don't seem to be able to take in the dis-satisfaction that is rife amongst its members. I have to say that individual members of staff are always lovely - it's the company's practices that cause the problems. In this particular case, what would it have taken to have either sent letters or emails to members a month out from bringing in the new systems just to let them know what was happening? And, what about those members that don't have access to the internet and so can't 'go on the portal'?? It's just a lack of consideration and very sad. They don't seem to be living up to their claim "Our commitment has always been to ethical, customer-first service......"
I have had a response (which more or less mirrors all the other responses they send) and telling me to contact theownersteam@....... If anybody had actually read my email they would have seen that it was copied to that email address!! Fat lot of good that did. However, I have now also received an email from one of the Directors - whilst it sort of answers some questions, the reasons given are not, in my own opinion, sufficient or good customer practice. Also, that Director hadn't read my email properly - there are at least two points that I made and which haven't been grasped, going by the response - but not for discussion here!!

We have been members for over 20 years…
We have been members for over 20 years and have never regretted it. We have had so many wonderful holidays and have seen the company grow and provide us more places to choose to holiday. We are just back from Club Tahiti and loved it. So many great people to chat to around the pool while having a beer. Really appreciate the support from the local team too. Already looking forward to the next holiday!

Slaley Hall lodges
We stayed for a week in a lodge at Slaley Hall. It was a beautiful setting looking out onto the lake. Very tranquil and peaceful. The Lodge was beautifully appointed and very well equipped. Spacious and comfortable. Although we didn't use it, there is a swimming pool at the hotel for Seasons guests to use, as well as the hotel restaurant. We thoroughly recommend Slaley Hall lodges.
