Lodge ownership at a great resort
We bought a holiday lodge at Dylan Coastal Resort through Seasons and it has been a fantastic decision for our family. We have been able to utilise the part rental system where the lodge is rented out when we don't use it which helps to cover the costs, and use it when it suits us and the process has been incredibly easy. The lodge was bought before it was even built based on an empty field but the amazing views, CGI photos of how the site would develop, and the fantastic sales team all helped us make the decision to go for it. Looking forward to many years of visits to come.

Best decision we’ve ever made
Best decision we’ve ever made! We purchased a lodge back in June 2022. Luke was our initial sales contact and 18 months on he still goes above and beyond for us - nothing is too much trouble! It’s the 5* accommodation we’ve been looking for. Superb facilities and excellent service from friendly and professional staff. I would not hesitate to recommend Dylan Coastal Resort and have done on numerous occasions.

Brilliant, helpful, knowledgeable
We booked an appointment at Whitbarrow to see Shaunna. We were lucky enough to inherit our timeshare from family but had absolutely no idea how it worked. Shaunna was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything to us in a way could understand. She gave us ideas and tips of where to stay next and how to get the most from our timeshare experience.

We are a retired couple and started our…
We are a retired couple and started our journey of purchasing a Sonnet Lodge when it was just a concrete base. Immediately standing on that base and embracing the views, led us to make further enquiries. From day one, it was clear to see the enthusiasm and foresight going forward that has made this purchase a clear winner.
Living not too far from Laugharne, we are fortunate to be able to visit at regular intervals and soak up the relaxing surroundings and take advantage of all the amenities that are part of a stay at this idyllic resort.
Also having taken the option at the time of purchase, to rent the Lodge, it has certainly worked out to be a lucrative stress free professional set up. Any query, guidance or advice needed has always been dealt with promptly and thoroughly.
We are now 3 years into this venture and have followed each and every development, the latest being the jetty for anyone who owns a speed boat.
Offering friends and family the opportunity to experience what we are fortunate to own, never fails as we are confident that the feedback will always be positive because of the constant effort that Management and staff at the resort put in to ensure a seamless stay.

Seasons poor forward booking dates
Seasons have now allowed certain customers who buy timeshare to book 18 months in advance, this is since I purchased mine; for those who purchased over their time share 12 years ago, can only book 12 months in advance, therefore I called them on 1st October at 9 am to book next October and told I can't book until 26th. I have complained of this unfair procedure and had no response because I was unable to book May next year when I called earlier in year. If I was to
Upgrade my package (more money- I don't have!) I would probably be able to book 18 months in advance. It appears old customers who have been with them years do not seem to matter now!
The accommodation has been good when able to book, but this makes a family unable to go together when grandchildren are off school. If I wanted to go on my own I would book other months, but I bought it for family holidays.
Be careful what you purchase!

Delighted with Lodge purchase at Dylan Coastal Resort
I wanted to say how pleased I am with my purchase of a Luxury Lodge at the Dylan Coastal Resort (formerly Laugharne Park). I do not recognise the criticism of Seasons from some contributors to this site. My wife and I invested in an Apex Lodge which is one of a number of brand new lodges and part of an extensive development and substantial investment by Seasons Holidays in this resort. We were attracted by the high standard of the Lodge, the fact that the Lodge came with a 100 year plot license, which is generous in comparison to other similar developments and it was clear that Seasons had invested considerably in a modern spa and restaurant on the site with state of the art facilities. Our experience of dealing with the company, its directors, staff and the sales team has been excellent both in terms of the sales process and after care and the management of our Lodge. We have also thoroughly enjoyed our family visits to the resort which we try to visit as often as we can despite living some distance away. I am a retired solicitor and so was very careful in ensuring that the contract to purchase the Lodge was acceptable. All queries were dealt with with professionalism and courtesy and my wife and I were happy to sign the contract having conducted appropriate reviews of the terms and conditions and having carried out all appropriate research. Nothing since has caused us to doubt the decision to purchase. We also decided to commercially let our Lodge and entered into a letting agreement with Seasons who manage our lettings and advertise the resort. This has worked very well and we receive a very acceptable income from the arrangement. We pay a not inconsiderable annual management charge as part of the contract which has been covered by the sub letting receipts. We also own a significant capital investment. For this we expect a high standard of service and a well managed resort. So far this has proved to be the case and based on my experience of dealing with Seasons Holidays I expect and anticipate this will continue.

WHAT A WONDERFUL STAY
WHAT A WONDERFUL STAY! Not only were the staff sensational and our host so lovely and accommodating but the facilities of the resort were next level! I was blown away by every aspect, on top of staying in such a gorgeous and picturesque town. I have no complaints and cannot wait to return!

2023 stay
I stayed here with some friends over the early summer period and had an amazing experience. The comfortable homes, coupled with the temperate welsh weather made the stay one to remember.
However, what really made the stay for me, was the welcoming and friendly staff which was available at all times. Not only did they host a fantastic wine tasting event, but were also impressively kind and useful when wanting to access the swimming pool and provided us with extra towels.
I highly recommend the resort if you are in need of a break from reality, able to enter a world of relaxation and comfort.

Fantastic place for a family holiday
Fantastic place for a family holiday. We come here regularly atleast twice a year. The staff and facilities are superb. Nothing is too much for them. The staff ho over and beyond to make our stay luxurious. I must say I wasn’t a fan of holidays locally in lodges but this place is absolutely different and classy. Excellent facilities and feel like I’m in a five star spa.

UNHAPPY SEASONS OWNERS
We have been members, like so many reporting on this site for well over 22 years and gradually upgraded as we went along BUT not to the Keys or any of the other luxurious options available. So been relegated to what they are now calling CORE ACCOMMODATION.
I can only back up what others have reported about Seasons. We have decided that the sooner we use our 14 flexipack weeks the better. However I am sure if we were to rent them out they would be given top notch accommodation to pull new members into the super luxury accommodation they have on offer.
NOTE.... recently wanted to see the resorts upgrades and more so the Core Accommodation that is currently on offer and there are no resort accommodation photos on their Website. When asked about this I was advised to go to II, RCI or Dial an Exchange to see images of their Core Accommodation. I take from this ...... they are ashamed to show it.....
In correspondence with them at present regarding the lack of confidence in booking our weeks for Core Accommodation...... as the last two holidays we had substandard accommodation which was musty, mouldy especially on bed head wall. Along with tired dated furniture and worst of all dirty ovenware still in the cupboards, stains on the carpets and dining chairs, and the pull out bed was mildewed just as well we did not have to use it. In both Clowance and Bude excessive sprays were used to disguise the smell of mould and musk which is unhealthy and when arriving home our suitcases of clothes still held the disgusting smell of the appartment.
NOT HAPPY SEASONS OWNERS AT THE MOMENT.
Be Aware!
We have been members for years and were informed earlier this year that we can no longer book into Dylan Coastal Resort and, I suspect, the same thing will happen with other resorts in the future. Accommodation for core members is becoming increasingly reduced. I do not trust this company anymore and do not engage with them on anything else.

other negative reviews I have…
To add to other negative reviews I have also been a member over 20 years. I was quite shocked to be informed I could no longer book breaks at laugherne where I signed and our local resort when I enquired about cancelling my membership I was informed I had to pay 2 years maintenance up front disgusting treatment for loyalty and 20 tears maintenance fees.is it legal to do this ?

Excessive and possibly illegal charge of £125 for electricity.
Received several threatening texts before arrived had to pay utility charge
of £125 to ensure our stay. Have been a timeshare owner for over 30 years and understand you pay maintenance on your unit, an exchange fee then just for electricity used whilst at the resort Think the fee demanded of £125 for a week stay in hot May excessive especially as actual usage following week at our own timeshare was under £15. Is this charge not illegal under the resale of electricity act? Can someone do something about it.
Improvement
We have been Seasons timeshare owners for about 25 years. Last Christmas we received an abrupt email to say we were no longer able to use our local resort. This was where we signed our agreement and spent many happy holidays, and short breaks. No explanation, no apology just a rude brusque email. What an appalling way to treat customers that have kept their business going and help pay (with exorbitant fees) for the refurbishment of somewhere we are not able to use. Disgusting! I would have given zero stars if I could. We have been refused booking at Laughan the place where we originally signed up. Very disappointed it’s as if Seasons feel they can alter contract terms and conditions at will.
In fairness to update the situation. As result of discussion between a representative of Seasons owners and the Director. The situation has changed and now members have been given temporary access at Laugharne, we have booked for next year. Let’s hope the improvement in relations continue, as we have a lot for our time share
