Pathetic customer service. The salesperson who sold he sofa to us was warm and helpful and (verbally) promised us delivery within 4-6 weeks. However, its been 10 weeks waiting for the sofa and I walk into the Mijdrecht store to ask the status of our order & I get "Lady, I can't do anything for you" from "The Store Manager". Appalling that "managers" need to be trained to respect paying customers.
I call their Customer Service & they say the exact same thing - we do not know where your sofa is. Then why have a Customer Service?
Hoping this serves as a warning to potential customers!

Worst service ever, they do not care about customers. Just for a simple query about my order I had to call them constantly more than 10 days. Moreover, their behaviour towards a customer who already deposited a booking money or fully payment is completely unprofessional. I never had such horrible experience in any other shop in The Netherlands. They charge extremely high for any kind of service which they don’t share before selling. The staffs are also very unprofessional.

The vendor was very nice. We really liked the couch we purchased. They said it will take 6 to 12 weeks to be ready. So I will give an update as soon as the couch arrives.
One thing on the low side is that their attitude is the typical kind of sales people
They will give you absurd inflated prices, and you have to work your way down

I understand that the order was signed, and I also understand that delivery times may vary. However, my disappointment is mainly about the final sofa configuration that was delivered.
As a customer, I relied on the drawing and explanation provided during the purchase process. I am not a furniture design expert, and I trusted that the visual sketch represented the final layout correctly. During my later visit to the store, the discussion was only about adding storage to the terminal side, not about changing the sofa orientation or overall design.
From a customer perspective, the delivered sofa does not match what I reasonably understood from the sketch and discussions at the time of purchase. I have attached both the signed sketch and the delivered sofa photos so people can judge the difference themselves.
I also would have appreciated a more solution-oriented and polite approach when I contacted customer service and head office, instead of simply being told that everything was correct without genuinely reviewing my concern.
I shared this review honestly based on my personal experience, and I still hope Seats and Sofas can handle this situation in a more customer-friendly manner.
The staff were very helpful right from the start!! Very professional. Things worked out very well with the price and choice of color

I’m extremely disappointed with the after-sales service following the delivery of my new sofa. I paid over €1,200 expecting quality products and customer support, but instead I was left feeling completely let down.
When unpacking the sofa, I discovered damage to the fabric that was hidden underneath the packaging. Naturally, my first reaction was concern about the condition of the sofa itself, not taking photos of every stage of the unpacking process or the original packaging. I don’t think most customers would expect they need to document a brand new sofa before even seeing if the item inside is damaged.
After contacting customer service for help, I was simply asked to provide additional photos of the original packaging upon delivery. This felt very unfair and unhelpful considering the damage was only visible after the sofa had been fully unpacked. I also called customer service directly hoping for some understanding and support, but unfortunately I still received no real assistance or solution.
What makes this even more disappointing is that the showroom experience was actually very positive, and the sales support during the purchase was excellent. Sadly, the level of care completely changed once an issue needed to be resolved.
At this stage, I feel unsupported as a customer and disappointed by how difficult it has been to get help with a damaged product.

We had a very disappointing experience with the Seats and Sofas Almere store. We initially visited just to look around but were strongly pushed to place an order the same day. A clear price was quoted for one model, but when we returned shortly after to change to that same model (within 2 days), the price was suddenly increased significantly,(As we had made the advance payment, he took advantage of us nicely) and there was no willingness to discuss or honour the earlier quote.
The communication felt rude and inflexible, and we were even told to cancel and leave while paying a high cancellation fee. This left us feeling that promises were not kept and customer friendliness was lacking. Unfortunately, this experience damaged our trust in the seats and sofas and specifically Almere branch, we are gonna cascade this experience with all of our friends and family.
We did not cancel the order due to high cancellation fee and agreed for the price which we were tricked to pay, and during the sofa delivery day, the customer service was even more pathetic. Even though there were many staff members present, no one showed interest in helping or assisting us. Overall, it was a very bad customer service experience. The staff and especially the guy who claims as manager there, he doesn’t know to even how to behave.

I ordered a sofa set from Seats and Sofas on 21-02-2026 with an expected delivery time of 6–8 weeks stated in the agreement. It is now 11-05-2026, and the delivery period has passed significantly.
I contacted the company multiple times by email, but I am not receiving proper responses or a clear delivery date. Communication has been very disappointing.
At this point, I only want a clear update or cancellation with a refund. Unfortunately, the customer experience has been very unprofessional.
