The delivery driver was amazing,he could not do anything more to help with the delivery. He went above and beyond. He was professional and a pleasure to deal with. I will be using selco again.

The delivery driver was very helpful, polite and efficient. Unfortunately the builder was not at my property when the delivery arrived. The delivery driver agreed to put all of the items just inside the garden gate rather than leave them at the front of the property.

Always a pleasure to use Selco Southall. Happy and helpful team especially Rupi who always goes over and above to assist.

Subject: Shockingly Poor Customer Service at Selco Store Ardwick

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the customer service I received at the Selco Store Ardwick on 21 August. My experience was shockingly unprofessional and frankly, quite disturbing.

Firstly, upon politely calling over a female staff member (after saying "excuse me"), her immediate response was a loud and exasperated "oh my god." I find this attitude completely unacceptable for someone in a customer-facing role. It suggests a profound lack of respect for customers and a questionable understanding of basic customer service principles.

Secondly, I was subjected to unsettling behavior from a bald, short male staff member. This individual spent an extended period staring directly at me with a smirk. When it became clear that I was uncomfortable with this behavior, he appeared to find it amusing. This is not only unprofessional but also deeply inappropriate and created a hostile environment.

Overall, my visit to Selco Store Ardwick was ruined by the appalling behavior of these staff members. I expect much better from a reputable company like Selco. I urge management to address these issues immediately to prevent other customers from experiencing similar treatment. I will seriously reconsider shopping at Selco in the future if these issues are not resolved.

Called in store friday 15 august to find info on a particular wall tile
The staff member was to busy to come over to tile area to answer my issue of quantity of stock , and informed me there were lots of the one i wanted in stock ,visually I could see there wasn’t
I ordered click and collect in the evening
only to be called on Saturday to say they were out of stock.
I checked online and Poole depot had the quantity and proceeded to collect from there
I don’t know but why couldn’t have selco Southampton tell me this , and even possibly transfer from Poole to Southampton.
Whenever I call into southampton staff seem to be to busy talking to each other to tend to the customer respectfully

Just been to Selco Croydon. Can’t remember two names, but one guy operates the forklift and the mill machine. He was both helpful and courteous. The other guy was on checkout. He again was helpful in guiding me through power tool accessories (router bits). Great experience overall.

Yet again Nicola at the Salford branch went above and beyond with my customer service. She is always friendly, helpful and does what she says she will when there are extra requirements to your needs and order, Nicola assisted me with my questions, helped me sign on line required paperwork from the manufacturer and has kept me in the loop throughout the process . Lovely chatty helpful lady who has been consistently like this on all our visits to this store

Deliveries are shocking! I've used selco for years, but the last year or so they seem to deliver whenever it suits them! Tell you it's on way, then come up with stories!! Quicker to pick up yourself, even if takes several trips. Poor service.

Are the luckiest team in the world to have Melanie on the team! She exemplifies professional , warm nature and expertise that I have never experienced. She has outstanding character and in my opinion shows me how a manager should be (if she isn’t one already!)
I pray Selco have the foresight not to let this talent go, and nurture it and help it grow!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with this service, and I want to give special recognition to the driver, Mr. Steve. He is truly exceptional — not only was he punctual and professional, but also incredibly kind, respectful, and thoughtful.

Steve greeted me with a warm smile, handled everything with care, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His positive attitude and calm, friendly manner made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to meet someone who takes so much pride in their work and treats every customer with such kindness and respect.

This is to say a big thank you for help from Frances at the Selco branch in Hadfield Road, Cardiff. I was looking for a product that they didn't stock, but she made helpful suggestions as a way forward for me. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful there.

Good experience with shopping. The cashier Aurelia at Selco Southampton branch help a lots and explain all the queries.She was so kind with very good knowledge. I definitely will come back for shopping.

I went to Selco Hanworth last week not sure what would be best material to level garden under pool.
Rossi gave me great advice and took bags on trolley to car for me.
Fab staff throughout the store but Rossi really helped me out.
