I really love the company but was disappointed when I order some 6 ×6 panals for my garden the driver was really good but the next day the panals were being fitted and over have off them were damaged and really poorly put together plus who ever sorted the order was verry careless and broke some off them as i am disabled and don't get alot off money I had to make do but was not happy with the situation I found my self in I am not giving the company a bad revew just the product

The carpenter who is doing work for me ordered clear styrene sheets to be delivered the delivery did not come on the day stated online when ordering..
Spoke to someone at the store and they informed me the sheet had broken and it would be with me at the end of the week, again no phone call to say it wasn’t arriving waited in all day again..was told a third time it would be with me at the end of the week and once again no delivery and no phone call… we have to pick them up ourselves which means no free delivery?..I had the excuse that the stock hadn’t arrived and the carpenter had the excuse that the sheets were broken once again the second time, so every single styrene sheet that’s been delivered to selco from 28/04/25 to today 14/05/15 is broken? ( Cardiff branch)
Have to drive to Swansea now to pick it up ridicolous

Staff at Selco in Guildford are extremely helpful and friendly. Apart from good prices and quality materials, they do make me feel welcome since the moment I started my own business. Always proactive and patient helping me with general queries, teaching how to submit orders, helping me to open a credit account, finding the materials I need (even though sometimes they are not in stock) and offering good prices!
I have no words to say how much I appreciate their help and special thank you to Lea !

My order was delivered in a van despite my request of a lorry with a crane at the order stage. The Selco van driver was rude and threatened me not deliver my goods as I was unable to help him to off load the goods as I have a bad back. There were no builders on site either.

After calling the supervisor at the Store (Slough) the van driver turned up moaning and started to throw large timber over plastic trimes without any due care in damaging the goods.
The van driver is giving Selco a bad name and I will think twice if I need to order anything from Selco

Outstanding customer services from Beverly from Ashton under Lyne store who dealt with my query over the phone most efficiently and explained everything in regards to the weights of the soil bags and how many we needed and made me see where I was going wrong. My brother who was In manchester at the time then went to the store and placed the order with her and she made the whole situation a true breeze from start to finish. We will definitely be asking for her the next time we will place an order in store, thank you so much

We visited Selco Alperton branch in April looking for some Vinyl flooring for our dental surgery after getting very confused with the number of options online. Mr Rumit Shah helped us choose one that fit perfectly with our needs, was very helpful with answering any queries around the products and patiently addressed all our concerns. He has been exceptionally good and is very dedicated to his job! We eventually bought the flooring off Selco after a few days due to good pricing and free delivery. The flooring looks lovely!

The delivery man was very rude and verbally aggressive, didn’t engage to take the staff out from his van. When asked him to opened the ligatures he said ,,don’t tell me what to do’’. Very bad experience.

Part of the order was delivered later than expected without any notice of only part order in stock (online it was showing all in stock) The delivery driver was rude when I was tryng to ascertain what had happened. Had to call the office a number of times and was advised delivery would be made when items back in stock. Had to call again to be advised they couldn't deliver for a week. I couldn't delay the job so had to cancel the other part of the order and try to source elsewhere --- a right pain so I won't be using Selco again.

Staff are great but the prices are not brilliant when it's supposed to be trade only! Example 20kg kiln sand £6 with vat. EH Smith 25kg £5.46 with vat & less if your trade! Plus.. Their yards are usually closer & more of them.

The staff were very polite and assisted me in locating materials I needed for a DIY project. They helped immensely by sawing 6 lengths of wood so I could fit them in my car. The floor Manager Luke Evans at the Hamworth branch was an absolute gem
