Select Sicily Reviews 

In September we visited a Select Sicily villa near Menfi. The villa was very comfortable, with all the equipment and facilities that we needed for our two week stay. Aldo was very helpful even though our flight was delayed he stayed late to show us around and made sure we had a welcome basket as we had missed the shops. The villa had a lovely position in rural Sicily, with a great pool and great views of the surrounding area. There were several blue flag beaches very close by which were excellent, clean and well mantained. The area is rural, and we were slightly bothered by the local sheep dogs, but that is part of the charm of the area! Our only other issue is italian electricity supply, which was easily overloaded. However Aldo sent a handyman to explain it all to us and he was charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to this unexplored corner of Sicily and would definitely recommend Select Sicily when booking a villa.

In September 2021 we consecutively rented two villas via Select Sicily, each for one week. In the first week we stayed in Villa Orizzonte near Noto. The villa can only be described as being excellent and up to the highest standards. The architectural design of the villa, the pool, the gardens, the view and the surroundings are fantastic. Also the mangers of the property were very friendly and helpful. In the second week we rented Villa Orangerie close to Selinunte. Different landscape but same excellent experience. Beautiful villa, lush gardens and a beautiful pool in a perfect setting. Again the manager was extremely helpful and supportive. In addition both villas are perfect places to explore the area. Thus overall I can highly recommend Villa Orizzonte and Villa Orangerie for every who looks for high standards and tranquility. Finally I must not forget to mention that Lavinia and Aldo from Select Sicily did everything to make our stay in Sicily most enjoyable. Thanks to both of them for their excellent work.

We booked the SELINUNTE Retreat on very short notice in September. Aldo from selectsicily.com was super fast in answering an very helpful all the time. Very friendly contact with great hints for day trips, restaurants etc.
The SELINUNTE retreat was such a quiet an beautiful place for the family. Perfect pool and outdoor area. The small town and beaches perfect for relaxing and eating good Italian food.

We rented the Palm Grove villa for a month through Select Sicily Villas. Select Sicily Villas were extremely professional in helping us to prepare for the trip as we had very young children that we had to cater for in advance. They were also on-hand for support throughout our stay. The villa itself was fantastic and included a huge garden and pool. Overall a great experience!

Great Villa with an amazing pool. From the communication to the checkout, everything was great. Villa is clean and great view. WLAN could be better but was ok. A car is needed as the villa is in the middle of a great olive plantation.

We've spent a great, peaceful holidays in Sicily, at Syracusa Retreat.
We highly recommend choosing Select Sicily as we had a professional booking experience and the property itself was exactly as advertised.
The house is in a great location (however the car is an absolute must), clean and charming, the garden and pool are fantastic. Only the kitchen could be better equipped.

Had a fantastic stay at Villa i Cipressi. We were stuck in isolation for five days after arriving from UK. We were made very welcome despite our late arrival and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the food we had ordered. So, all we had to do was switch-off and enjoy the pool, the sun and the walks for a few days until we could start to move around post a local covid test. We got an immediate positive response from the agent/owner to us being too dumb to work out the dishwasher (!): a second shop for food was organised for us while we were still in isolation. Then a local hire car was arranged for us as we emerged from isolation, as we couldn't get one at the airport upon arrival in Sicily c/o joys of Covid. All in all, great stay, great service, Happy Days......

All expectations were met. Very good and professional services, helpful and friendly attitude.

The villa in Selinunte is absolutely amazing! Nice pool and fantastic views! All facilities that you need for a relaxing holiday. Aldo is very service minded and easy and fast to communicate with! We stayed for two weeks in the villa and would definitely book again next time in Sicily! We can really recommend this very nice house.

Very much enjoyed our recent holiday in Select Sicily villa Casa Melograno. Pool was amazing with lovely decking area and great views over the countryside. Lots of shady outdoor space too for eating or relaxing. Select Sicily were very helpful during both the booking process and locally for handover and during our stay.

Sicily is a wonderful destination for any type of traveler. Overall a great experience with a professional team that helped us during the entire vacation.

From booking our holiday right through to checkout, the team at Select Sicily were fantastic. Offering advice to help us decide which of their beautiful villas we were going to stay in, greeting us warmly with a bottle of local wine up on arrival and responding immediately to any questions we had, they really are a great team. The villa we chose, Casa Melograno, has everything you could need for a relaxing, peaceful stay & was perfect for us as a family of 3 with a eight month old baby. The views are truly spectacular, lying by the pool you can see vineyards for miles. You can explore the wonderful local beaches, nature reserve and towns with a very short drive. I would highly recommend Select Sicily & Casa Melograno, for a stress free escape, suitable for all the family.

The property was excellent and exactly as advertised. The property manager was super delightful - she met with us upon arrival and provided a walkthrough and local recommendations - top notch service!

The villa is in a tranquil location on the hill surrounded by olive groves and vineyards- very peaceful and beautifully maintained. It’s about 12 minutes drive to Porto Palo di Menfi and about 18 to Selinunte. We travelled as a couple but originally planned to come as a family of 3.

Aldo, the manager greeted us on arrival and attended to our every need throughout.

The villa was very clean, which in the current climate, was very important for us. When we were leaving we saw the cleaning personnel arriving to clean for the next visitors.

There is a large infinity pool about 15m long) in the garden overlooking the vineyards which was very well maintained and attended to every day. As a swimmer, this was the most amazing feature of the house for me.

The house came with every facility we needed and was computer/ work friendly.

Nino visites us a couple of times and brought fruit and wine.

We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

Excellent stay, fantastic property, great assistance, always on time meetings, high level services, when it happened a little problem it has been immediately solved. And the lady who supervised our stay helping us with cleaning and occasionally cooking is absolutely an angel!

We rent Seven Islands Villa 15 days this summer via Select Sicily. Lavinia, from Select Sicily, was very helpful and available before our arrival to plan our stay.
The owner is really sympathetic and available to fix any issue. He made sure to answer to each of our requests very promptly and suggested additional activities and organised everything (boat renting, restaurant booking...).
The view from the villa is somptuous. Some details especially for the kitchen amenities or for the outdoor living room could be improved but we could recommend this villa for great holidays.

The staff at Select Sicily and the owner of our villa were always helpful, friendly and quick to respond. They went out of their way to recommend and book restaurants for us which made our holiday so much more enjoyable.

Ferla Verde is a beautiful villa with amazing views and a lovely open plan living space. It has the advantage of feeling secluded but within easy reach of some good local restaurants. Guiseppe, who owns the villa, couldn’t have been more helpful throughout our stay and even brought us some local speciality breakfast pastries on the last day for our journey home!

I would highly recommend Select Sicily and Ferla Verde!

Select Sicily Villas provides excellent service and has a portfolio of magnificent villas around Sicily. We really enjoyed our 5 stars stay at Villa Melograno 2. A very comfortable location, well positioned, and close to all major attractions of Trapani area.

This wonderful villa, equipped with a delightful swimming pool, has been chosen by my family for a quite holiday in the countryside of Sicily, in a location which is (almost) at walking distance from the seaside (but far enough from the unavoidable noise of a crowded coast).
The place really exeeded our expectations: everything was perfect and the people who take care of the house (not a staff properly, but nearly a staff) have been extremely kind and offered prompt help, assistance and very useful suggestions for any need or problem we faced.

We miss it: for sure, we'll come back (hopefully) soon!!!
