Shearings NC500
The booking process was great, we had to postpone our trip for 12 months due to a medical issue but Shearings accommodated this for us and the 4 others we were travelling with, which was brilliant. Our coach was, without doubt the most comfortable we have travelled on, plenty of leg room and really comfy seats. The route took in all the best parts of the NC500 with the added bonus of being able to see everything from the coach as opposed to driving. All the hotels were functional, if a little tired. That said, the staff were great in all but one, pleasant and accommodating. The food for the most part was plain and simple but quite small portions. At one hotel, I ordered a calamari starter and received 2 rings served in a ramekin, I had to ask for the advertised Aioli which when it arrived was a dollop of mayonnaise. Breakfasts were generally good. The scenery was spectacular, coach was great but the holiday was made by our driver Pat, a proud Brummy. Not only was Pat an exceptional driver his knowledge of the route and its local history was outstanding. He shared this knowledge with wit and humour throughout. Nothing was to much trouble for him, on the coach or at the hotels, Pat was always on duty. Would I consider doing another coach holiday? Yes, I would.

Belfast Titanic July 2026
Titanic exhibition in Belfast well worth seeing. Trip to Giants causeway Very Good. Did not go on optional excursion, Hotel Ramada Wyndham was close to the centre, so that day we walked into Belfast . Driver was Excellent, Shearings' looked after us, including dealing with the problem of no suitcase labels, mail in Bradford so unreliable labels arrived after we had left! Hotel comfortable, lovely staff. One little niggle at Hotel, bread at breakfast uninspiring. Holiday is three days in Belfast, and two days travelling (a full day each way)

just returned from isle of man overall…
just returned from isle of man overall a good experience hotel and food was great driver ok but on returning we had to sail to Liverpool which meant going on 6.45 sailing which meant we lost a day on the holiday! not great.

The driver was an excellent tour guide and extremely knowledgeable of the Scottish Highlands which really added to the trip. Overall an excellent holiday that I would recommend to others. A few hotels we're a little dated but it didn't spoil the experience.
