Northumberland Adventure
The Driver was very helpful & entertaining with local information. The coach was spotless and the views from the coach were great. My next tour will be a bit longer than 3 days to get to know the other visitors. I think it would be a popular trip picking up at Scarborough Station with 2 nights in Newcastle for a grand night out!

Back today from a great break in…
Back today from a great break in London/Abba Voyage with family and friends. The hotel,hotel staff and food were excellent, highly recommended! However the person who made it even better was our brilliant, funny attentive coach driver Dave. From the onset of the break he couldn't do enough for everyone aboard, even when 2 quests on the coach took a tumble, he was there to pick them up. He is such a lovely genuine person and hopefully we will get him again when we book our next trip. He is such a credit to your company and whatever he is being paid is not enough!!!

We have just returned from an amazing long weekend from the Call the Midwife tour. The time spent there could have been reduced. However our amazing driver James (a Marshalls driver) was truly amazing. With pit stops at St Albans and Cambridge. He’s a true asset and many thanks for a great weekend

Help to transfer booking
We were due to go away this week on a river cruise which was cancelled due to a fire on the boat, so we have booked a holiday for next year with the assistance of Owen who was very helpful and arranged the transfer of our money to the new trip.

Fabulous break to Northumberland.
I've had a fabulous 3 day break to Northumberland. It was a very busy trip visiting Durham, Angel of the North, Seahouses, Bamburgh castle and Newcastle. The hotel Holiday Inn was also a lovely place to stay.
The driver Ashley was fantastic, very friendly and fun! I will definitely be booking with Shearings again.

As single traveler confused that some holidays to Ireland doubled the price when trying to access a couple £900 to £1900!
Eventually found the no singles excess charges!!
Also puzzled as to why there is a £30 surcharge for a Letchworth pickup

Staff at the St Ives Bay Hotel were…
Staff at the St Ives Bay Hotel were brilliant. Very friendly and helpful. We were helped bringing our luggage up the few steps into the reception. Arriving early we were offered drinks and given a cool place to sit until our room was ready. It was a very hot day and Jack brought us a jug of ice. Very thoughtful of him. The lady serving at the bar was always cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. The meals were served by efficient staff. Our room was cleaned each day coffee and tea tray replenished. On leaving the hotel Paul the receptionist carried our suitcases to the station for us. We cannot praise all the staff enough. Thank you all for your excellent service. This was a self drive break.

I made a booking via phone for Aug 2027. The operator was so helpful and friendly. Answered all my questions and helped with all my queries.

NOT impressed from beginning to end
NOT impressed from beginning to end, for the money paid we had enjoyed numerous 14 might cruise holidays. Accepted a Non-negotiable refund which was quite derisory, as Shearings were aware of the situation we were enduring. Memorable holiday for all the wrong reasons, had my head pecked by many unsatisfied travellers, who said that they couldn't be bothered to say anything to Shearings. We were already wound up and all the moaning did nothing to appease the situation.

I'm so stupid
I'm so stupid. The first time I booked a holiday, I thought my bank had declined the payment and I went onto my bank to complain. I was told to go back onto the holiday and they would monitor the payment. I did and found out that I hadn't even paid the deposit. The payment went through smoothly and my Christmas holiday with Shearings is booked.
