I'm so stupid
I'm so stupid. The first time I booked a holiday, I thought my bank had declined the payment and I went onto my bank to complain. I was told to go back onto the holiday and they would monitor the payment. I did and found out that I hadn't even paid the deposit. The payment went through smoothly and my Christmas holiday with Shearings is booked.

Lovely annual mum and daughter trip …
We had a really lovely weekend away with shearings to the northumberland coast ,excellent trips ,really well organised and everthing ran to time .Ashley our driver was great friendly and kept us updated and running to time .
The hotel was good a little dated but clean ,very friendly staff and fab food ,Thankyou ,myself and my mum will be booking with you again !

Newcastle and Northumberland coach trip 13th-17th July 2026
Hi. Me and my mom went on a coach trip 13th -17th July 2026 to Newcastle & Northumberland coast . Our Drivers name was Robin from Cardiff. I must say.. He was amazing :D <3. Absolutely fantastic from the get go. He made the whole coach feel at ease with his natural persona. Cracking jokes from the off . Also such a naturally friendly guy, and very informative and clued up with the places we visited. Top man! He deserves an award for sure. He definitely made our holiday very memorable xxx

Disliked the hotel loved the driver and people on the coach and the excursions were excellent.If the hotel had management that put there paying customers first and there staff second and allowed there staff to disturb people with noise after 1 am on several nights without any telling off even after complaining 2 nights running is shocking.This trip could easily have had a 5 star review if the hotel was different so please shearings change the hotel people deserve better they are on holiday.

I am a solo female traveller who is…
I am a solo female traveller who is getting picked up in Durham City in the early hours of Saturday 25th July,
I rang this morning Thursday 23 July to ask for the name of the taxi firm or the mini bus firm who would be picking me up. The operative I spoke to didn't know but she would get someone to ring me back with the information. It is now late afternoon early evening and no one has been in contact with this information. I could be picked up by any random taxi or mini bus as I don't have the name to confirm its the correct firm. My contact number is 07980012230

Safety Concerns
Edit. Your reply is worthless just blah blah blah empty words with no worth or sincerity whatsoever.
We took a trip to Orkney in June and apart from the many tiny irritations about coach hotel rooms etc that I could fill up this box with the main one was that we only had 1 driver. He worked in excess of 13 hours on day one, we sat down to eat at 10pm. I don’t know how many hours he did on the pickups before we met him. The next day he did in excess of 12 hours (another 10pm sit down meal) and about the same on the return. That left him very few hours to legally do all the touring in between. All that and he was expected to serve drinks on request at 60mph. I’d like to see Shearings risk assessment for this trip. Me and my fellow travelers all thought our safety had been compromised to save Shearings a bit of cash. I have complained to Shearings 3 times but they have not replied. Will never go with them again

Better coaches and hotels. The hotel at Cergy near Paris is poor quality and in a rough area. The dining room is like a canteen and food exceptionaly poor.
Customer service non existent.
Our first experience of Shearings and won't be repeating.
