Still awaiting a refund

Firstly, I want to say that the pandemic has impacted businesses and I understand this can cause issues that take time to resolve however it appears that their difficulties only seem to extend to processing refunds and not taking payment. I did order my shed at the start of the pandemic and understood this would present a delay in delivery. The payment however was taken immediately and included installation. After some time had passed I did agree to take delivery without installation and the payment for installation would be refunded to me. I have yet to receive this refund despite numerous emails as they do not seem to answer their phone. If this is not refunded in the next week I will be taking this to the small claims court.

A company to avoid

A company to avoid. The worst service I've ever experienced. I note there are pages of reviews from people who feel the same as I do. Their telephone is permanently engaged, they do not reply to messages despite their promise to do so, they do not reply to emails despite their promise to do so. Ordered my shed in June when they gave a July 6th delivery for an item their website stated was in stock. August 3rd today and still no shed. Finally got through late this afternoon as was told (don't laugh) their delivery team go home at 4. I've been promised a call back in the morning to give me a provisional delivery date - which I daresay may be in September or some such. In fairness Sarah who I spoke to was very pleasant and efficient and I can only suggest she gets a job with a decent company because the one she currently works for is awful. Do not buy anything from this company. I awarded them one star because you can't get away with none

Very bad service

Very bad service, I get things not running good due to covid 19,but when you go on website and it says includes installation, then rung up to double check delivery and installation to be told the shed you have ordered does not include installation and your delivery day has changed with no confirmation of that change really annoying, so undoubtedly been waiting for it to be delivered for 16th August it's probably going to be longer, had a weekend delivery due to working, all this order was done on 1st June,won't be buying anything from here again

Happy Customer

Summer House ordered before these reviews read and naturally concerned that we would not receive structure as promised. Dispite several emails asking for confirmation that delivery would be made as promised we got no response.

However we did get a text from Shires, the local distributor, a couple of days before the due date giving us a time slot and tracking details.

On the day delivery went very smoothly. The driver was professional and pleasant and followed current Covid19 procedures.

We were very happy with the quality of our Summer House and how easy it was to construct.

This company has obviously had difficulties due to lock down but now looks to be getting on top of them. If only they answered emails I think customers would have more confidence in them.

At the end of the day we were very happy with end result and as such would recommend.

Re: Just Poor

As Trustpilot does not allow you to respond to a company’s responses, I am writing this brief update:

Still no shed. Company wrote on 24th July, apologised for the poor service, said planned delivery 4th August and delivery team would be in contact to confirm the details. Not sure when this is going to happen given 4th is next Tuesday.

Re my previous comment about the company’s responses being platitudes. My review included a reference number, therefore unsure why they did not know whether I had cancelled my order or not. A simple check would have confirmed things.

Given I have waited so long I will give them until the 4th to deliver, but not optimistic.

Opinion of shedswarehouse remains unchanged (Just Poor). They have done nothing to put things right through any type of positive action

We ordered a summer house in June and…

We ordered a summer house in June and have been trying to get in touch with them to get a delivery date but they are not answering emails and the phone I have a feeling we won't be seeing this summer house please don't risk losing your money with this company

I see that you have given me the same reply as all your other disgruntled customers it's a pity that you can't reply to our emails and phone calls in the same way you reply to your negative reviews

As for your claim that due to covid the manufacturing has been delayed currently on your website you state that you have 7 in stock so no manufacturing is necessary our order was placed 37 days ago so you have 3 days to get the item to me within your own time frame so I'm wondering how much notice you give before delivery

There is no point in emailing you as you haven't replied to the one I sent you 4 days ago even though you promise to reply within 48 hours

And if you check Google reviews yourself you will see quite a few 1star reviews being posted recently

My wife has received a delivery date 16/8/20 which is tomorrow (Sunday??) with the promise the couriers would contact us about delivery it is now nearly 7.00pm and we have not heard anything from them to be honest I'm not expecting it to turn up it is long past the time they claim it would be delivered so my advice is still to avoid as they just keep fobbing us off
Yet more fobbing off they messaged my wife 2 weeks ago saying it would be delivered within 2 weeks and as per usual no delivery and no answering our emails or picking up the phone
We have now contacted trading standards and I would urge anyone who is waiting for their shed or a refund to do the same as the more complaints they get the sooner they will get involved

Fraud springs to mind. AVOID!!

One star is too generous. We ordered a shed on the 25th of May and didn't hear anything about delivery. Finally got a response to an email we send chasing delivery which said it would be delivered 28th of July (yesterday). Surprise surprise no sign of our shed and no contact from the company to advise us of any issue. We took time off work etc. Can't get through on the phone and again no response to our email. Micky mouse company, if looking for a shed go to anyone else who will no doubt offer better customer service and not steal your money. I'm in the process of seeking legal action and contacting trading standards. I understand things have been difficult with covid but things are now getting back to some sort of normality so don't believe their current excuse for bad service and basically fraud is justified. In short.... Do not use this company

DO NOT USE

Terrible company - ordered and paid on 5th June still no shed. No communication, cant get through via email or phone.

Have done a check on the company and they changed directors in June.

I find this review really unfair, i can see you were provided with many updates regarding the delivery of your summerhouse and the lead time, and were offered a refund if you didn't want to wait for the unforeseen delays of the pandemic to pass. I can also see you were provided with compensation for the delays.

I can confirm Shedswarehouse part of an umbrella company, but our accounts are fully up to date, and you do not have access to our credit limit.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will take your money and will not deliver the goods or allow you to contact them; absolute appalling company. In their response on 26th June they said that if customers cancelled orders they would make a refund within 6 working days. I cancelled my order 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing. It is now in the hands of my credit card company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Order Number 453608 - Ordered 24/Apr/2020

I've called and emailed but only once got a response from an email. I understand that we are all going through difficult times but a little customer service would be nice. Can you please check my order and provide a date as to when the shed will be delivered.. if it's going to be another few weeks then I'll be needing a refund.
Just realised it's 3 months today I placed the order!!!! Shocking.

Edit re response - I did finally receive an email but only after I mentioned cancellation, contact was not initiated by the company. However, once I confirmed that I wished to cancel the order, full refund came through within 1 week which is highly appreciated hence the extra star. Had the communication been there on the first email, I would not have cancelled the order but lack of customer care was ultimately unacceptable.

As everyone is saying, customer service is non existent. Phoned many times only to get the answer message each time (not actually spoken to anyone). I've sent multiple emails with no reply and now reading the other reviews, I have just emailed asking for a full refund. If they are true to their word, I should get this Friday or Monday as that is all the time I am giving them before I seek legal advice.

Awful company, no customer service and obviously do not care about anything or anyone except the profit.

Like everyone else no response to email or telephone
What a difference used another company for a cabin
And like shedswarehouse they have no stock they were quick to let us know and asked if we wanted a refund because the cabin can’t be delivered until September we have agreed to wait this company won’t answer emails or telephone buyer beware this is going to be really bad business

Parts turned up broken

Parts turned up broken, I managed to build the shed using my own skills and knowledge to repair and replace some of the parts, which took me much longer than it would have normally and with the end product not looking so good. When I provided photos of the 3 or 4 pieces broken in delivery (and 2 pieces delivered the wrong size), I was asked to provide receipts for the work I had to do to repair it. Any company which delivers broken parts should take full responsibility and offer compensation without any hesitation. Avoid.

Awful service. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered my shed on 5 May (order number 453901) no answer to my emails and they don’t answer their phones. Happy to take my money but then not deliver. I sent an email requesting my money back on 18 June but didn’t even get the courtesy of a response to that or the official complaint email that I sent on 8 July. Terrible service and would give zero if I could.

No customer service

No customer service! Emailed twice,weeks ago still no reply. Left message through their internet site, still no reply. Useless! DO NOT USE these middle men! You are better off buying from large reputable stores that supply exactly the same sheds. Eg. Screwfix, Travis Perkins, B&Q, Homebase, B&M, Argos, or try your local garden centre.

Terrible company bordering on…

Terrible company bordering on fraudulent. You can’t get anyone on the phone once you e paid and subsequently don’t get your goods.
They haven’t answers my emails.
Avoid at all costs. Do not buy form this company.

Do not buy from this company we placed…

Do not buy from this company we placed our order for our new shed on 5th of May still no show was told it would be 5 weeks and now it is 10 after several calls they said the delivery is tomorrow and will get a call the night before still waiting for the call if you can't sort the orders why take more until u have forfilled the ones you already have
Dint answer emails either spoke a sales assistant who are quick in taking your money but can't produce the goods will going fir refund now just a joke customer number is 453914

Full refund do non-delivery of greenhouse

We have previously written 3 uncomplimentary reviews of Shedwarehouse related to the non delivery of our greenhouse. Our biggest gripe was the lack of direct communication about the status of the order and possible delivery. We eventually lost patience and requested a refund. In their trustpilot reply’s they quote that they will refund anyone who requests a refund within 4/5 days. I am pleased to announce that they did exactly what they said they will do. We contacted them by registered letter. They received this Friday. Friday evening they phoned us telling us they had received our letter and they would arrange a refund and apologising for the problem. Today (Wednesday) the full refund was in our account. We are very pleased and can now look at sourcing a different greenhouse. If only Shedswarehouse had communicated with us and gave us an update it would never have reached this level of aggravation. However, eventually well done Shedswarehouse.

I want my money back as i have no summerhouse,

I ordered a summerhouse on June 23rd and all fine at that point and paid by credit card in full £1,199.07 and received a confirmation by email. I then a few days later received an email from a company i had not heard of saying it could not fulfil my order and to go back to Shedswarehouse for my refund. Despite emailing them and ringing them on loads of occasions, no one has contacted me and i am seriously hacked off. I am just taking advice to recover my money. Please just get back to me and i have added my order number for you to do so.

Avoid this company!

Ordered and paid for a shed on 22nd May with delivery date of 22nd June. Nothing delivered on this date, no correspondence despite me emailing and calling several times. Have requested a refund but still heard nothing. Have now had to request a refund from my credit card Company which is going to take another 45days. Surely it is fraudulent to take someone’s money when they knowingly cannot fulfill the order? Definitely would not recommend!
