Easy to buy the new policy at a reasonable price

I specifically chose a policy without a black box or data tracking. Despite this, I received constant emails and texts threatening to cancel my insurance unless I enabled data sharing.

I contacted customer support three times, and every time they confirmed these messages did not apply to my policy and told me to ignore them. They even confirmed this by email.

A month later, they cancelled my policy anyway.

Completely misleading, poor communication, and a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this insurer.

Great and efficient experience booking my new car insurance

Writing this on behalf of my partner. She recently changed her car from a 2021 fiesta to a brand new 2026 Peugeot 208. about halfway through the policy year. To change it over was £170 which brings her premium for the year to £415. We ran quotes on compare sites and Sheila’s wheels came out at £223 for a higher level of cover! She managed to contact a human advisor and was assured the extra charge was correct. How can that be??? Needless to say after many years using Sheila’s wheels they have lost a loyal customer.

Have been ok for a year however my renewal price was ridiculously high. After speaking with an online agent it actually ended up being put up rather than down. I threatened to leave if a compromise wasn’t made, they refused to budge. I’ve now got a new insurance with a massive 24.1% discount on what they were offering, including 0 excess and added break down cover. Going to continue loosing customers if you continue to offer ridiculously high renewal prices with poor customer service. Makes me glad I haven’t had to make a claim because I found your online agents incompetent. Like I said by far the highest price anywhere. Very disheartening if you reference my previous review of Sheila’s wheels last year.

The staff in their call centre don’t know what New Car Provision is and they need training urgently. They will tell you that is not in their policy but it is. Someone is failing dramatically in staff training!

As with all insurance policies, I hope never to test the insurance company. So far, the only experience I've gained is a competitive price and an easy on-line purchase!

Getting my insurance was simple and straight forward, well priced and I got my documents straight away.

I’m just at the beginning of the process of being insured with them, but so far the communication went smoothly without any issues. I hope everything goes well and consider renewing my policy with them next year also
