Have been ok for a year however my renewal price was ridiculously high. After speaking with an online agent it actually ended up being put up rather than down. I threatened to leave if a compromise wasn’t made, they refused to budge. I’ve now got a new insurance with a massive 24.1% discount on what they were offering, including 0 excess and added break down cover. Going to continue loosing customers if you continue to offer ridiculously high renewal prices with poor customer service. Makes me glad I haven’t had to make a claim because I found your online agents incompetent. Like I said by far the highest price anywhere. Very disheartening if you reference my previous review of Sheila’s wheels last year.

The staff in their call centre don’t know what New Car Provision is and they need training urgently. They will tell you that is not in their policy but it is. Someone is failing dramatically in staff training!

As with all insurance policies, I hope never to test the insurance company. So far, the only experience I've gained is a competitive price and an easy on-line purchase!

Getting my insurance was simple and straight forward, well priced and I got my documents straight away.

A stressful and distressing experience. The day I renewed my insurance with Sheilas Wheels i had a no fault bump in my car - i was stationary. The 3rd party accepted full responsibility but Sheila's Wheels increased my policy by £150. The following day they returned my £150 and cancelled my policy, subsequently refunding most of my annual payment. After much stress and investigation the help line admitted it was a mistake but couldn't reinstate a cancelled policy. They offered me £64 compensation which I did not receive but they deducted £36 for a cancellation fee! They cancelled not me. I then received a letter with no address or any means of contact, stating that my policy had been cancelled due to my claims record. I cannot recall having made a single claim in the 12+ years i have been with SW. To say I am disgusted is to put it mildly.

Sheila’s wheels are a broker for esure. Their communication is awful and they are very tactical especially if you don’t have motor legal protection. I would not recommend using Sheila’s wheels for any insurance as they cannot be trusted. I have been treated unfairly due to an accident that was NOT my fault. They tried to payout half of what the car was worth due to existing damage which they had caused in recovery, which I had to fight for the deductions to be removed. I am now fighting for my own financial information as they are withholding it so I am unable to recover the rest of my premium from the at fault insurers and I have been paying for my insurance since April when my car was deemed a total loss. Disgraceful service will never use Sheila’s wheels for any type of insurance again.
