I hired Shrub Hub to design my backyard, and WOW—I'm still in awe. Working with Eve was such a joy. She was incredibly patient and kind, really took the time to understand what I wanted, and it totally shows in the final design.

She nailed every detail—from my workout shed to the sweet little garden space for my mom. The whole process felt easy and natural, like chatting with a friend who just happens to be amazing at backyard makeovers.

I only had one tiny edit at the end (seriously, just one!)—that’s how perfect it was. Couldn’t be happier. If you’re thinking about transforming your outdoor space, Shrub Hub is it!

I have relied on these designers for the last two years!!! They listened to my requests and needs and Alex brought it home for me with the 2nd updated design. My yard is currently under construction and the landscapers have a clear picture of how it needs to be done! Thank you shrub hub for everything :) I will send photos when completed!

I was prepared with photos, measurements, and a good description of what we wanted -- and Eve Wagdy made sure the vision ShrubHub created reflected all of that. Horrible - now they refuse to answer any of my emails. Do not waste your money.

Their website states “Talk to Our Design Expert’s Our design experts will remotely create a hardscape and landscape design with plants & materials that fit your climate zone.”

The design I received lacked forethought in size and growth rate. The person who did this was not an expert as the design was functionally incorrect, nor did it follow the discussion we had with Emily.

The plantings were poorly executed, and in many cases would have outgrown the area planted in. This is not what I expected of an expert. I think their website improperly describes the skills of the person executing the project.

I wish I checked the BBB before giving them my hard-earned money! The reviews are frightening.

I am currently working with Sean on my landscaping design - front and back yard. I sent along measurements, pictures, and inspiration pics prior to our meeting. He absolutely amazed me with his first rendering. I shared with him the feeling/atmosphere I wanted my property to exude and he nailed it. He included all of my wish list items as well as a few things I didn’t even realize I ‘needed’. I’m so incredibly pleased and am looking forward to finalizing my project now more than ever.

Our first experience using Shrubhub was awesome and we got so many great compliments of our yard! We purchased the front and back yard design. It was an awesome design and they did exactly what we asked (with added creativity). The design gave us the exact visual we needed to transform our yard, and it was so easy to understand/visualize that we were able to do most of the planting ourselves, which saved us a ton of money. Not only were the 3D images beautiful, but they also exactly represented what we needed to do and where. The 2D image/plan was also great, very clear and had all of the plants and other details clearly designed in scale.

This is the second time we are using Shrubhub and we are busy working with the project manager now for our new design (again...front and back yards) and the experience has been great already. We look forward to the new design and are thankful for the opportunity to work with Nina and team! God bless!!

We had a great experience with shrub hub, specifically Alex. We were very impressed with the rendering. It was done quickly and they paid attention to everything we requested. I would use them again.

IT IS NOT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION LIKE THEY ADVERTISE!!! I HAVE LOST COUNT OF THE EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS TRYING TO GET BACK LESS THAN 300 DOLLARS!!! THEY ALSO DO A TON OF UPSELLING!!!

I DID NOT ASK FOR BEDS ALONG SIDES OF THE BACK YARD, THE SIDES OF THE HOUSE, OR THE BACK OF THE HOUSE. I ASKED FOR THE BACK FENCE!!! IF YOU TAKE THE CORNERS OUT OF THE EQUATION THAT LEAVES ABOUT 50 FEET. WHICH IS A SMALL FRACTION OF WHAT YOU PUT TOGETHER.
I DO NOT WANT ANYTHING IN THE CENTER!!
I MADE IT VERY CLEAR THIS WAS TO BE SMALL, SIMPLE, LOW COST...

This is Celeste, a Shrubhub manager. I got notified that you've requested a refund.
I am sorry that this has been your experience with us.

I am attaching section 10 of our Terms & Conditions so you can understand better how our policies work. We only offer partial refunds for the 3D Custom Design.
The refund amount is based on the number of hours we spent working on your project.

Since we have provided a 2D Plan and around 16 3D Renderings, we have to pay our designer for the work they have put into your project.

Unfortunately, it seems like this is not working for you, however, we'd love to provide you with a complimentary revision and make sure all of your notes are taken into consideration.

On the other hand, if you want to proceed with the refund we can offer a 20% refund of the amount you have paid.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you are seeking revisions and I'd love to help you.

It is now Jan, 10TH, still no refund. BEWARE!! Never in my life have I dealt with such an unethical company as shrubhub!

It is now Jan.17th mores calls and more emails! I received the same email today that I did a month ago. This is my response - This is beyond unethical and unprofessional!! We are right back to where you started from!
Just do the refund!

Terrible experience. Just copied my 'idea' design and turned it into a 3D drawing. Didn't spread plants like I requested, didn't show Australian plants like I requested. Didn't come up with any new ideas. Refused to give me any refund.

We have been working with Alex and he has amazing, nailing all the details that are important to us. He recommended the package that gave us the option to continue tweaking our designs for 30 days and that has been perfect, allowing us to review, evaluate and tweak the things we want to include in our design.

The designer on the phone consultation was a condescending jerk. I originally signed up through an IG ad and sent in all my info. He then told me that the quote is only good for 3000 sq ft and would not cover the scope of my project. No problem. Was open to paying the up price, but then he went on to tell me repeatedly that it was on their website, on their mobile, that the project was only good for 3000 sq ft. He must've told me like 5-6 times, after I said I didn't see that. After reading all these other reviews I couldn't be happier that I avoided going any further with this company. Terrible experience, all because of the person on the phone.

I got my design last week it was well worth the wait my wife is super happy with the final draft I have gotten in touch with some of their contractors to stop by this week awesome job guys thanks!

ShrubHub has created 2 residential backyard designs for me. I find their work to be both high quality and inspiring. Good value as well. Empowered me to make better and more confident decisions about these investments.

Designs were awful. communication was even worse

Alex Smith was great to work with and was able to help me finalize/improve a full backyard renovation design. She accommodated my needs and her renderings turned out better than I could have expected. I would definitely use her services again.

I had a very positive consultation call with my designer, Nina. She listened to my ideas and design goals for the area in my yard we wanted to landscape. They explained their process and, although they offered many up-sale services, were pleasant about me declining everything but the primary package purchased. Nina and Adrian completed an excellent design on time, incorporating all our discussed items. It was a very positive experience.
