SJS had the parts I needed for a good price and sent them out right away. And crucially SJS provide some technical advice online such as will this bit work with this other bit. In general other retailers of cycle components don't offer that. SJS can do it because there are people there that know a lot about bicycles. To me that makes them stand out.

SJS have what other stores say they can’t get.
I have have bought and fitted an excellent Cat eye rear rack light after being told by a bike shop that they were not available anymore and a car parts retailer selling bicycle shaped objects had absolutely no idea what I was talking about.
Good reliable SJS, bought there many times including a dynamo front and rear light set for my daily bike. Sadly rarely seen in the UK now.

SJS is great, especially love the plethora of small parts. The staff are helpful even if the answer is "sorry that isn't made any more".

SJS isnt always the absolute cheapest but that's okay because the small parts and advice makes it worth it.

The thing that is often a barrier to ordering and leaves a sour taste is the P&P / dispatch arrangements especially for small things. Even small thinks that will fit in a standard letter and envelope are charged at £3.75 which is just in my view excessive. It then seems unless you pay for express delivery the sit on the order for a day or two before dispatching it - when it usually arrives next day.

One final thing that would be useful links or copies of exploded diagrams showing parts

Purchasing processes was easy online, item was as described, price was cheap compared to other business i looked at, so i saved money,professionally wrapped with care, delivery took 2 to 3 days, so quite fast, very happy customer.

SJS come up trumps again for those rare and difficult find items. ☺
