A newly established company associated with White Rose Finance Group claims to offer financial and loan services. However, today, on May 22, 2024, I received an unsolicited email at my personal business email address from this company. I have never had any prior interaction with either this company or White Rose Finance Group, making this email entirely unwarranted.
This situation raises concerns about a potential phishing attempt, and I strongly recommend steering clear of this company. If you encounter similar suspicious emails, it’s crucial to report them. You can forward them to the Government's phishing reporting service. Just search for 'report phishing gov uk' for instructions on how to do this, and ensure you protect your personal information.
Simon Palmer became a named director of this new company on 24th March 2023. The company apparently offers financial and loans services associated with White Rose Finance Group. Today, 2nd May 2023, I received a spam email to a personal business email address. I have no previous contact with either company and I should not be receiving marketing emails to my personal business address without explicit permission.
The email leaves me to believe this is a possible phishing campaign and I would advise that this company is best avoided. If you need to report phishing you can use the government's reporting service by forwarding suspicious emails to the Government phishing reporting service - which I have done in this case. Search for 'report phishing gov uk' in your favourite search engine without the apostrophes.
