I don't normally do reviews but i felt obliged to do one for Smart Energy and a very good one!
The whole team have been brilliant. I needed a new boiler fitted to replace my 30 year old boiler. We didn't have a good start as video survey didn't work out. Jen, the lovely receptionist phoned me up a couple of weeks after to arrange a face-to-face survey with their director Tom. on the survey day, Tom came and he was very friendly and thorough. I wanted to relocate the new boiler from Utility room to kitchen and move washing machine back to kitchen to free up the utility room to build a toilet. Tom was helping me to look for solutions. His quote for boiler i wanted was very competitive and offered further discount which I could not refuse. Tom also talked through finance options which was also very good. I signed the contract in the afternoon and also took the finance option they offered. On the day of installation, this Monday, 6th June, plumber Dave came just after 8am. Dave was very friendly, approachable, yet professional. later in the morning, the electrician Clive came. Clive was the best! He sorted all the electricity work out, installed the controller and also get wires ready for my washing machine, which I was so grateful for. Dave finished the installation and took away the old boiler and left the place tidy and clean.
Overall, the whole experience was great, I would definitely recommend Smart Energy if you need a boiler replaced. I also like the fact that they are local, near Merry Hill.

If you need a replacement boiler this has to be the company that you should choose.
All the staff are really professional and helpful. The process which I believe is unrivalled with other companies is superb.
1) A knowledgeable representative (Chris) calls an is able to give you various quotes there and then for different makes of boilers and competitive prices. He takes extensive pictures of the existing Boiler installation.
2) An experienced surveyor (Lee) who has years of heating and ventilating experience calls to check the parts listed in the quotation to see if any additional or less materials are required to ensure that all the parts are preordered for the installation. He also checks the existing system and introduces the central heating cleaner in the system He also confirms the date of installation of the boiler.
3) The boiler was installed by David on the day. The boiler and associated parts are delivered on time. He tests the boiler extensively and ensures the boiler works efficiently. He takes extensive pictures of the new boiler and obtains customer sign off.At the same time the electrical engineer (Matt) sets up the heating controls.
4)The head office phones to take payment and the 10 year warranty documentation

Great compan, great team, totally professional.

I had a gas boiler fitted, and radiators fitted in every room. Dave was very confident, and good at his job, he explained everything that he was doing, and how to use the equipment. It was a pleasure to have him working in my home. Lee popped in and did some work too, he was also very pleasant. I would recommend them for any work that needs doing. Thank you .

Having recently having my central heating fitted by Smart Energy I can safely say they are an incredible team from office staff to fitters all the pipe work seven radiator's and boiler up and running within two days and little disruption

Darren the engineer arrived on time, Polite and helpful, explained what he was aiming to do and where the replacement boiler/pipes would be going. Spot on with his estimated finish time, despite a couple of issues, which he dealt with without fuss.

Excellant and caring service, carefully installed, would reccomend.

Very happy with the process from start to finish Brian very knowledgeable on what we needed through to organising the installation. Darren who fitted the boiler was very professional got on with the job never stopped described everything in detail cleaned everything up didn't leave a nut or bolt can highly recommend this company.

Very happy with the new fitted boiler and two radiators, Darren the fitter arrived on time and did a very professional job. Cleared the old boiler and radiators away and left everything clean and tidy. Would recommend 5*

Right from the start this has been nothing but pleasant and great customer journey. Brian was very informative and patient and made sure everything was clear and I understood all my options. Installation was booked and carried out with military precision. Darren the installer was very polite, efficient and I now have a brand new boiler. I am really happy with all the people I had an interaction with.. Would definitely recommend them!!!!

After filling in the application form for funded central heating, I received a phone call as was said and everything from then on was absolutely fantastic. Their professional yet friendly communication was excellent throughout. I spoke with a few different people who were so helpful and very reassuring. Every member of the team were friendly and arrived as arranged. Customer service was excellent and prompt and matt a was a pleasure to speak to. My praise also goes to the 2 members Dave and Darren who installed the central heating . They did a wonderful job, ...again friendly, polite and professional. Leaving everywhere clean and tidy. I cannot express my sincere gratitude to this company for an extremely pleasant and positive experience. Highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much for the difference this has made to me.
