Travelling from London Gatwick to…
Travelling from London Gatwick to Prague. Delayed more then 2 hours which didn't bother me. But when we got on the plane .... OMG!!! You would expect the cabin crew be nice and polite. Only to find out I actually was bothering them when I had a request about a suit. As they insist it to put the suit bag with other oversized bags. They let us board only when we got to our seats to be told we had to get out of the plane again with our hand laguage and check it in. Rude staff who thinks that they are on holidays and customer who contribute towards the cost of their salary are a problem. Unbelievable!!!
I've seen worse
I've seen worse. I flew to Prague with smartwings and although it was nothing fancy (as expected from a low-cost airliner), it wasn't horrific, either. The flight was delayed and the aircraft itself was a bit tight in the seating area, but all in all, it got me from point A to point B safe and sound.
The cabin crew were really courteous and patient as well.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I was on the flight QS1071 from Podgorica, Montenegro to Malaga, Spain via Prague, Czech Republic. Old airplane, with no room for legs, rude staff and long delays. But the worst thing happened after arrival at Malaga airport. My luggage was lost at Prague Airport and I have waited for 4 days to get it back! When I finally got my luggage it was completely destroyed with my clothes burned and ragged. At baggage claim we made a damage report. After that I was adviced to fill up a form about my damage on SmartWings website but since today nobody have contacted me. Stay away from this company!!!
Rubbish airline
I booked a flight from London to Hurghada through smart wings and when I wanted to book an extra baggage I called them and they told me you can did it at the airport . Then I called the agent booked to me. After that I called edreams and they told me we can't booked extra baggage and you can did this at the airport. No one wanted to help me. In the airport I paid a lot of money 165 pounds for one additional bag .

Worst airline ever. Unable to do check in online via their site. Then they charged me at AirPort 10 quid for Seat because i did not do check in online. Terrible service and unproffesional customer care, behaviour and attitude from red head lady at Birmingham AirPort. Avoid. Even ryan air is better than you.
Travelling with Children? AVOID!
The flight was delayed, presumably due to the storm that broke out just before the scheduled take-off. There was absolutely no communication from the airline or airport staff as to the reason for delay or the estimated time of delay at the gate. When the gate finally opened, we boarded the bus where we were stranded for at least 20mins before it transported us to the plane. When the plane was boarded and the flight attendants announced we would be taking off, my son told me he needed the toilet. I assured him that the plane will be taking off and once the plane was in the air he will be able to use the toilet. But nothing happened for another 15mins. We were sat there – lights off, seatbelt sign on – without any communication from the pilot/captain as to the reason for delay and how much longer. By that time my son was desperate for a ‘wee’. I signalled the flight attendants for attention but I was completely ignored. My son started to cry because he was very desperate for the toilet. At that point, seeing as the plane wasn’t going anywhere, I unbuckled my son and headed for the toilet. I was stopped in the middle of the aisle by the flight attendant and was asked abruptly to go back to my seat. I explained my son needed the toilet desperately and that we will be very quick but she insisted that we return to our seats. She didn’t provide me with any alternative solution and showed absolutely no empathy or care. She assured me that the plane will take off in a minute, which was of course a lie. We’d returned to our seats. Thankfully the lady sitting next to us offered me an empty water bottle to use. My son had to urinate into a plastic bottle. To my absolute outrage, the plane didn’t take off for another 10mins during which my son could have safely used the toilet.
I have witnessed the exact same scenario happen to a family on board another low-cost airline and I can assure you that it was handled very differently. The flight attendant checked with the pilot first and then accompanied the mother and child to the toilet and back to their seat.
I have never experienced such rudeness and lack of customer care. My 4-year-old son cried with pain of having to hold his urine for so long. And, had it not been for that lady and her empty bottle, my son would have been sitting in his urine for the duration of the flight.
I am disgusted to the bottom of my stomach. I will never use your airlines again and if I can help it, nor will my family and anyone we know.
Nothing "Smart" about this shoddy company
I dont usually bother to leave reviews, but this company is so bad I am actually taking the time out of my day to warn anyone thinking of using this company because they might save a few quid.
We used Smart wings to book a 3 day stag do to Prague for 15 people with 6 months until the weekend. 3 weeks before the flight they decided to reschedule the flight home to the day before! this was ok for 3 of the party however the other 12 had to cancel both flights and rebook with easy jet which was £46 more.
A week later, we got informed that they had also rescheduled the outgoing flight to the day before as well which means the 3 people on the original flights would have had a whole day before anyone got there with no accommodation!
Absolutely abysmal service with no apology or offer of compensation. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Catastrofic, outtrageous "service". Avoid this company
In the past 30 days, I took 4 flights with this company. The 4 of them were just catastrophic. For ALL my flights it was impossible to proceed to the online check in, I had just a cabine luggage and had to queue hours at the aiport... It is outrageous.
My fisrt flight Prague - Malaga was delayed of more than 1 hour, arriving then in Malaga after midnight, which is a pain in the **** then to pick up the car etc...
On the way back AGAIN delayed flight for 2h30 min ! but we had the chance to wait in the plane for 2hours at 23h that was such a enlightning experience !
My last travel with them Prague - Majorca was only delayed by 30min.
Surprise ! the return flight was delayed by 2 hours, instead of arriving home at 23h, I just arrived at 2 a.m., which is perfect to start the week !
How the F*** is it possible that 4 flights at different dates, times, destinations, can offer such poor planing and service ?
I am outraged with Smartwings
I am outraged with Smartwings, they cancelled my flight without notice or compensation, left us in Dubrovnik. We had to fork out an additional 650 euros to get from A to B and been trying to seek compensation for th epast 3 weeks and they just do not reply do not email back keep telling me to email other emails it is ridiculous! Your help desk is horrible and customer relaions i have been waiting on an Email from Vladimir for 5 days it says you will respond within 24 hours
Poor Service.
I tried to check in at Gatwick for my 14.20 flight, and was issued a boarding card for a later flight. When I said that this was a mistake, they said it must be a mistake by my travel agetn, whom I would have to contact to sort it out.
Unable to contact my agent, I showed the clerk my reservation details, and asked if he could put me on the flight I had booked. He was unable to do so (even though there were empty seats) because he was an agent himself, not Smartwings. I asked to speak to a Smartwings rep. There was none at the airport!
I finally persuaded him to contact Smartwings in Prague. They said flatly that tickets were no-transferable, and that I must take the later flight.
It MAY have been my agent's faults, but Smartwings showed a distinct lack of customer service, choosing to let a plane go off with an empty seat rather than help (at no cost to themselves) a customer with problems.
Terrible and unhelpful company
Never ever book a flight with this company. There is no help if you make a small mistake with writing a wrong first name. We had to buy new tickets with another company and all money was lost. We were prepared to pay a fee for the change, but they told us to buy new tickets!!! Also be aware of that you can only bring 5 kg hand luggage and 15 kg luggage.

Service is a foreign word in the Smart Wings.
They can not issue boarding cards for the entire route. They do not inform when desk in transit is open. So you can wait, in this case, six hours in of the desk, and then meet a rude woman who complains that you only speak English, and notice, the desk is only open for 3 minutes. But hey, maybe it is good for business. If you miss your boarding card then you must buy new ticket. Ta da.
