The first smash burger I ate was in Oceanside outside Camp Pendleton. I was a L/Cpl on my way to 'Nam. A small bar and grill sold the thinnest burgers ever seen. Fresh ground beef smashed flat by a metal spatula, put on a bun toasted on the grill, lettuce, onion, and tomato. Cheapest and BEST burger in town. Returned to Oceanside two plus decades later But bar/cafe long gone. The owner could have made a fortune if he had foresight.

When ordered food delivery and beverage I don’t want the seal of the straw to be open i am not happy about that they had the straw open put it in the drink and I asked them about this, they told me its the company way to do it. am not sure if they are telling me the truth!

I'm a regular at Sacramento Howe bout Arden location. Ordered a single BBQ bacon cheddar burger. They served me a burger with 2 patties and so much BBQ sauce that made eating it a very messy experience. The bun was so drenched with BBQ sauce that the burger fell apart when I tried to eat it. Very disappointed

Great food and the customer service was excellent, food came out quick and fresh give it a 10/10 would eat here again

Location at Hurstbourne and Shelbyville Rd in Louisville Extremely poor customer service honestly they don’t even deserve one star. This was my first experience ordering Smashburger and my first time ordering through Uber Eats Delivery my food arrived in a open unfolded bag as if I walked in and picked it up myself. Needless to say I threw it out. Called the store and explained to the guy and he admitted they were out of tape and labels. He tried to get the manager and she wouldn’t talk. Left the phone on the counter for 30 minutes never came to the phone and then hung up. I called back and the so called manager answered, again I explained what happened and she got very ugly, told me I was lying and wouldn’t give her name then hung up. I spent $28 for something I couldn’t eat because it was not safe for me too. Stay away from this location, they should have never let food leave there store like this. Very very poor customer Service surprised she’s even a manager. I also reported it to UberEats. Never ever will I give them my business again. Wowww!! Date of my experience was 2/16/2023.

This smash burger is so ghetto. The staff are rude and no matter what time you walk in here it looks as though the whole restaurant could use a good cleaning… This Boylston street location has been under poor management for a little over a year and no matter how much the employees change and the management changes , it seems as if they can never get it right .. The employees cuss like sailors, depending on when you come in here there is rap music blasting and I’ve literally seen employees roll up weed in the lobby .. I stop coming to this location for all these reasons . Noticed after not coming here for two months that it seemed the staff and management had changed hands within those two months . Decided to give it a try but I see nothing has changed .As of today employees are still cussing loud . I spend $10 on tenders only and employees are cutting them in half because they’ve accidentally dropped four instead of the five I paid for . An employee asked another employee to fill my fries because they were under filled and the response was “ they get what they get “ . I will not be back , I’ve had my last meal from here indefinitely. I’m not even sure how this restaurant is still standing because it really needs to be shut down indefinitely.. the customer service here is garbage. Mix that with the food not consistently being great and you have a bad business. This can’t be a representation of smash burger stores everywhere and I hope change comes to this location soon .. The saddest part of this all is mostly adults work at this store but the work ethic’s are giving children vibes .

We were so exited to try Smashbuger today and so disappointed. It definitely was not made like it should be at all. The burger meat was not thin or crispy or caramelized. It was just a regular burger. Nothing special like advertised. My husband makes them better at home ! I think your cooks could use some training.

Order arrived earlier than it was expected to. The burgers where still warm when they got to us our cans weren’t shaken up and the burgers where just lovely mouthwatering juicy Angus beef 🤤 I wouldn’t compare this to any other burger in hull currently they are the best and I would highly recommend smash burger to a friend or family member or random Jeff or sally off the street 🙂

Went to smash burger for a birthday lunch. The burgers are ok for the price but the milkshakes are not worth it! $10 for a non thick, only 4 flavours available milkshake…. So not worth it!
It came to $77 for 4 burgers, 3 milkshakes and 1 fries which was in the combo. Not impressed.

The order was 40 minutes longer than the latest expected delivery with no contact from the restraunt. They did not answer their phone and when it did arrive the burgers were cold and the milkshake watery, will not be using this takeaway again, I should have checked the just eat reviews as this appears to be a regular occurance.

The most disgusting experience of my life. I have never gotten food poisoning so bad in my life before I had smash burger. DO NOT GET IT.

The Brighton branch, absolutely the worse service EVER and after 45mins waiting for our food, one burger was both burnt and under cooked at the same time,
and the others came out cold... HOW??? How bad can a place be this bad....thought it was all a joke.

Worst customer service naughty customer care, bad food

We got take out and all of it was bad except the face to face customer service. We tried to call and explain the problem but were left on hold for over 15 minutes . The Cobb salad We ordered was gross and tasted old . The two burgers were dry and the buns had hard spots. The strawberry shake tasted like medicine. We literally threw most of our $50.00 meal away .

7.5/10 ordered a takeaway, the burger was spot on the halloumi sticks however were too chewy. I found that the chips were decent but nothing to write home about, look forward to the improvement next time!

Safety precaution. Raw meat.
People and timing was great. However, when I took a big bite of my burger it felt mushy. When I look at it, there was raw meat. I don't mind pink but this was raw, however the outside was cooked.

Please if you have kiddos - check the meat first. E-coli may only make an adult sick but actually kill a child.

I order on line they said it will be done in 20 to 25 minutes, it was done before that time frame, my fries were cold and the milkshake was very loose and milky wasn't thick at all. Wait until the person get there to drop the fries and make the milkshake to ensure everything will be fresh. If you know the food will be made within 10 or 15 minutes. Make the customers knows that, so the food won't be just sitting getting cold.Maybe look into thicker fries becase when the ones you said get cold it tastes like cardboard box

Ordered 3 vanilla shakes as well as a 5 and 3 piece chicken strip

2 other customers of African American descent also purchased 2 vanilla shakes

Those customers received fully topped off shakes while we received about
80 % of the shake cup capacity

Why??

Issue #2

We were told that our order was completed and we had everything that was ordered. When I got in the car, my wife checked bags and both the 5 piece and 3 piece chicken strips were missing

When I went back into the restaurant, the workers saw me approaching and acted as if nothing had happened and o e of them said is this for him?

They handed me the two previously missing orders of chicken strips. I asked them why did they inform me that my order was ready when it was not and I also stated that it was a good thing that my wife and I checked the bags in the parking lot.

You could hear a pin drop and crickets as no one responded. Further more they gave a hard time to provide extra condiments as I requested a little extra since we had ordered about $100.00 in food and needed a bit more than the 2 ketchup packets that were provided to go along with multiple orders of fries and bbq sauce for the chicken strips

Kiss my ass as neither myself or my family will ever be going back to another smash burger:

You just got smashed !!

I ordered a truffle mushroom double Swiss at a cost of £10.95. If you think you'll receive a burger like the one on the menu you'll be dissapointed.
The burgers were overdone and greasy and the mushrooms were few and far between.
This was definitely not worth £10.95
Needless to say this establishment won't be getting any more business from me. If you're in Bath there are better places to get your burger fix.

Fab meal with the kids, good food and the service was great. Very affordable too
