I rang Chris having come across Smile Computers following a google search. My daughters laptop had a damaged charging port. Chris assessed the damage and a new charging port was sourced. On opening up the laptop Chris informed me it was a tricky job as it was soldered to the main board. He’s done a fantastic job and I have a very happy daughter again. Give him a call if you need an expert. I’m glad I did.

Chris at Smile Computers was really friendly from the moment I rang him. I rang him and explaine that my laptop was not loading and was reporting as unresponsive. He immediately knew what the problem was (my hard drive had failed) and I arranged with him to have it fixed. A day later Chris told me he had fixed my laptop and I could come and collect. Really fast and great service. My laptop is working millions of times faster. Chris himself is lovely and very friendly. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be using Smile computers again.

This is the second time that Chris has sorted out computer issues for me and he has done so quickly, efficiently and for a very reasonable price. This has included upgrading a couple of old laptops to solid state drive and sorting out a computer that had been hacked. Very happy with his service and I will certainly go to him again if I have further such tasks to be done.

Chris arrived at exactly the time he said he would, he had equipment with him to sort out my internet problem .. all sorted checked and working perfectly in an hour .. very friendly and knowledgeable, I would definitely recommend him

I rang Chris when my aging laptop finally gave up the ghost. He explained the possible causes for my problem and the potential fixes, and I dropped it off at his offices for a proper diagnosis. Within 24 hours Chris rang me to tell me what was wrong, how he could fix it and how much it would cost. Given that the price was a fraction of the cost of a new laptop I agreed to the repair. The following day I collected my machine, which now boasted a new hard drive, battery and updated version of Windows. Chris had also loaded all the software that I had been using before. And all for a very reasonable price. I will definitely use Smile Computers again.
