Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the product quality, citing issues such as blurry images, incorrect cropping, and colors that did not match expectations. The customer service was frequently described as unhelpful and difficult to reach, with many reporting an inability to speak with a live representative or receive adequate support for their concerns. Additionally, numerous people experienced problems with delivery, including delayed, lost, or incorrect orders, even when express shipping was paid for. Some people were dissatisfied with the order process itself, encountering issues like orders not being associated with their account or unexpected changes to their projects after submission. However, some customers also noted that they received their orders quickly and found the print quality to be high, with some even receiving prompt credits for misprinted items.

Ghost of Snapfish Present

Wish there was an option for 0 stars! I ordered my husband's most requested Christmas gift, a custom calendar, on 12/9. It took several hours to design, and cost me $20.89. I didn’t log in, assuming Snapfish would be sending a confirmation email. Nope! Radio silence! However, my bank records show they indeed took my $20. Finally on 12/19 I decided to try and contact "customer support". And, like others have mentioned, there is no one live to speak to, only "live agents" in chat, giving infuriatingly canned responses, and empty promises of sending you an email with the resolution. I took it to the Better Business Bureau, and have a complaint active with them. I'm hoping the BBB can help me retrieve the wasted money; Safe to say I will NEVER use Snapfish again!!
**Update: i returned from Christmas travel to find the calendar I had made and very pleased with its quality. Who knows WHEN it arrived-- In time for Christmas? Anyone's guess. (We left home on 12/21, so Snapfish had from 12/9 to 12/21 to get the product to me). Do i feel bad about bashing Snapfish now? A little, but ya know what could have prevented that? REAL communication from Snapfish: starting with confirmation email (You would think that's obvious!) AND a working phone contact, with a human on the other end. So Snapfish moves up by one star, but I will continue to avoid this business....not worth the stress!

Avoid like the plague

No delivery, no updates, no ability to chat if you use Google to sign in to the site, they really don't care if they are late and are very dismissive of the concept of a refund. Avoid if you can!!

Appalling error - printing only one photo that I uploaded 3 years ago instead of all the different photos I uploaded 2 weeks ago

I took a lot of time to upload photos from a party and then order from them. The system is very clear and it would be difficult to order the wrong photos. I ordered a lot of different photos and different sizes which I was surprised were taking so long. Then today one arrived - it was of a photo of friend who died 3 years ago. I then logged on to see what was going on and could see that all the other photos = £64 order are of the same photo. I never even clicked on this photo when I made the order and instead I will have screen shoots to prove this. Why would I order so many different orders - i.e. 6 versions of 6 x 4 of the same photo???.. COMPLETELY THEIR ERROR but I cannot read anyone on the chat or email and no phone number. These photos were all to be Christmas presents....

I wish I could leave zero stars

I wish I could leave zero stars! The worst customer service experience ever! Buyer Beware!!! I ordered 40 Christmas cards with rush delivery- paying over $60!!! When they arrived, the card in the back of the stack had a very large chunk ripped out of it! Any type of quality inspection would've caught it. Now Snapfish is telling me- as a "one time courtesy", they will give me product credit for the future! So I don't even get all of the cards I paid for nor any refund for it. WHAT A JOKE! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!

Unreliable systems, Inattentive/Unresponsive Customer Support

Ordered Christmas cards and paid for expedited shipping on 12/13/25. Snapfish cancelled my order on 12/15 without warning, claiming "invalid address."

I contacted support immediately via their chat platform and provided documentation to prove my address was entered correctly. I have no idea why their system says my address is invalid. My case was "escalated" to supervisor Ebenezer, who took another 24 hours to respond, and then responded with boilerplate language about address verification. This person clearly didn't bother to read the chat transcript because they suggested I made an error entering my address and I should reply with my correct address and reorder.

I replied within an hour, citing the ticket number, and re-explaining that my address was entered correctly. I gave my address again, and I attached additional supporting documentation to prove that what I entered on my original, and what I was entering again, is my home address with a standard USPS mailbox in front. I suggested that since the error was theirs, not mine, perhaps they might offer a discount code so I could further expedite my holiday card order without paying more than my original price.

Ebenezer never responded. No one from Snapfish has responded. ... It's now been over 50 hours since I first contacted chat for help with this, and I've gotten nowhere with them.

The bigger problem: Aside from the inconvenience of having to re-create and order cards elsewhere, and the appalling lack of seriously BASIC customer service skills, the idea that Snapfish automatically cancels orders based on 3rd party address validation rather than simply shipping to what the customer provides is ludicrous. If I enter a wrong address and don't receive my package, that's MY responsibility. But Snapfish has decided THEIR database is more reliable than MY knowledge of MY own address... and that's how you lose customers. My USPS mail carrier delivers to my home daily. I can assure you, it exists. And I should add that I live in a NYC suburb in a house that was built in 1964... not new construction, and not somewhere obscure. I am beyond confused as to why Snapfish has decided that I don't live where I say I live.

Racist Company

I have been a loyal Snapfish customer for years and have always used them to create my personal calendars. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been extremely disappointing and frankly troubling.

While customizing my 2025 calendar, I noticed that Juneteenth—a federally recognized holiday—was missing from Snapfish’s pre-populated holiday list. Even more concerning, there was no option to add Juneteenth under the holiday customization tab, despite every other federal holiday being included and editable.

I reached out to Snapfish multiple times over the past two months seeking an explanation or resolution and received no response whatsoever. The complete lack of acknowledgment only made the situation worse.

As an African American customer, this omission feels dismissive and exclusionary. Juneteenth holds deep historical and cultural significance, and its absence—combined with the company’s refusal to respond—comes across as careless at best and discriminatory at worst. When a company chooses which federal holidays are worthy of recognition, silence speaks volumes.

After years of loyalty, I expected better. At a minimum, Snapfish should be responsive, inclusive, and willing to correct oversights that impact entire communities. Sadly, that was not my experience, and I will be deleting my account immediately.

I used to order from snapfish in the…

I used to order from snapfish in the past and the quality was ok but now they emailed me regarding making a purchase every 18 months or they will remove my photos and projects. I deactivated my account with them because it is ridiculous to force someone to make a purchase. I purchase when i want something not because of an email. It almost feels like blackmail!

Address management is steaming pile of compost

Snapfish has got to have one of the most horrific user experiences for mailing cards and the like. It has a csv import function for addresses but has a ton of cryptic formatting rules and is completely useless at telling you what’s wrong. Just “something is wrong with your csv” no specific error, no row or column, no way to figure out the problem. It’s as if they lose money by mailing for you and don’t want customer to actually do that.

Most frustrating

Most frustrating, terrible customer service I have encountered or should I say...HAVEN'T ENCOUNTERED. My order shipped 12/5, supposed to arrive 12/10; it's currently 12/13 and I can't find anyway to contact them to get any answers. All there sights tell me I don't have an order! There "chat" option is not real; it's all bot! Will never use or recommend this company! They are the absolute worst company I have ever experienced!

Snapfish is very undependable

Snapfish is very undependable. I spent a SIGNIFICANT amount of money on Christmas cards and paid a SIGNIFICANT amount of money on RUSHED shipping. They did not get the order even close. I was supposed to have my rushed shipping product on December 8th and it isn't even shipped yet on the 13th. I contacted the company twice - the first time, the customer service rep didn't follow through, and the second one only reimbursed me for the rushed shipping. When you order a product and do not get it even close to being timely (they are almost a week behind what I was promised), there needs to be a reimbursement beyond the rushed shipping price I paid for. I would recommend NEVER using snapfish for anything based on my experience with them. Very unfortunate situation! You have lost this customer!

Ordered a custom puzzle and it is stuck where the shipper has not received the package

Ordered a custom puzzle and it has never been delivered. Did a chat and the agent reordered the puzzle and said it would be here Dec. 10. The first ordered Nov. 20 and the second puzzle ordered Dec 5 are both stuck in the same place:
12/10/2025, 07:00 am
Shipper created a label, ups has not received the package yet.
This company used to be good but has gone downhill. Also there is no phone number to call. Luckily PayPal , where we have buyer protection has refunded the money. The shipping costs are outrageous.

Two Orders - None Arrived

I placed my order in mid-November. When it failed to arrive, the customer service rep placed a new order, promised by December 10. Once again, the order did not arrive. So disappointing. Would never use Snapfish again.

IMPOSSIBLE customer service

I ordered Christmas Cards from snapfish and paid extra for the “printed return address” feature. I figured it would save me a lot of time with that many cards. They arrived with BLANK envelopes; no return addresses. I tried requesting my money back for that feature. There is no phone number, so you have to use the “live chat” feature. However, due to the holidays and “high customer volume,” every time I try to get on the live chat, it tells me that I am at least number 100 in the queue. If your phone goes into sleep mode or you switch tabs at all, it kicks you out of your place and starts you at the end of the “queue” again. Same thing with a desktop. I tried for 4 days to get through, but unless you can literally sit there with the screen open for 2 hours and not change tabs or let it sleep, you will never get to talk to someone.

Snapfish terrible customer service and bait and switch tactics

Bought photo tiles that they advertised on Black Friday - 60% off. I think i purchased 13 of them. put in 60% off code - showed up in cart, total was $78 hit purchase and it said charge $180. Immediately sent email, never heard from them. Was on chat - disconnected 3 times. They asked me what the code was - I couldn't remember, didn't take a picture of it. They said they couldn't help with out the code. I said you know the code as its your company - just apply it. I asked to talk to supervisor, and that could not be done - then he just disconnected. I have screen shots of all of those chats. Without good CS - I will never by from them or any other company similar to them.

Calendars arrived quickly and all 6 were perfect!

Love all the editing features for making calendars! I ordered 6 and they were all perfect and arrived quickly and securely via USPS. Great job Snapfish! I always order directly from Snapfish rather than letting Walmart or CVS print them. There's a big difference in quality IMO.
