Outdoor dog fleece lasted 3 hours on my Sprocker, very thin fleece ripped in 3 places. Company weren’t interested and said they’ve been selling for 30 years and never had this problem and if I wasn’t happy with quality I should have returned before using. Will stick with Equafleece and Aldi dog coats from now on.

Big difference with the company input. With a photo of past blankets, I was informed that the blanket was a tad long on her tail end. I let them know her chest and neck were larger (quarterhorse). So I ordered the larger neck, and shorter body. Worked perfectly.

I bought this after my weanling hit a…
I bought a hood x 2, after my weanling hit a star picket and skinned his face to the bone.
This provided the perfect coverage to allow it to heal, where I couldn’t keep a bandage on. This is my 5th purchase from Snuggy Hoods, and my only recommendation is to buy the the zip! So much easier and safer with young horses!

Ordered for post sarcoid surgery protection
Very helpful when I ordered , the delivery came later than I expected and there were no instructions with it . I still haven't used it , left a voice mail , had no reply . Could do with paper instructions and not on line or UTube . Looks a good piece of kit , my horse has a stomach wound post surgery , so I'll try and use the online info at some point I guess and fit it , paper instructions would be easier in the field where I have a poor signal . I also thought it was all stitched together but lots of separate bits . So I guess so far no real comment due to the above .

Having checked, I can see that you have ordered the Bug Body and Sheath Cove. The attachments were ordered and should have been added to the blanket ready to use as per the photos on the website. Can you please check this and advise? There should be a long strip of velcro running from stifle to stifle PLUS 2 x strips either side the tail. As per the advice on the website, the fit must be tight tight tight.
You should have a Blanket with detachable hood PLUS the sheath cover. The body and neck should have been wrapped together with the sheath cover rolled separately and tied with the blue ribbon. There should also be a small cotton bag to keep everything in place when fitting.

Great service and good quality product

Slightly poor material easily get holes in the rug
Very fast service and delivery . I made a mistake and had to buy a sewing machine to attach the udder cover myself . Also the material is very thin I have already repaired about ten holes my horse has got in her rug . Only had it a month . ☹️

Many thanks for taking the time to review your order.
I am sorry if you missed the information regarding the attachments during sale times.
During the season, we would attach any extra attachments for udder and sheath automatically when the item is added to the rug in the basket. During clearance sales, this is added as an option due to the discounts on the products and the extra time taken to carry out. We do try to make this obvious on both the rug description and the description of the Udder/sheath/legs. I am sorry if this was missed. Had it been added to the basket and paid for, the seamstresses would have added this for you prior to dispatch.
With regard to the holes, unfortunately, as described in the product description, if caught on something such as black thorn or barbed wire etc, it can tear. Unfortunately there is not a fabric which can be comfortably enough to use 24/7 which will not tear if caught on something. The good news is that, unlike a mesh which is not repairable, the fabric is incredibly easy to mend by hand or on a domestic sewing machine.
Damage can occur in minutes of use and some are lucky enough not to ever sustain any damage to their hoods and rugs. We offer patching fabric when needed and have an in-house repair service should the repairs be beyond your capability. This should mean that the rug should last a number of seasons - albeit being repaired.
