I emailed the company about a dress I wanted to purchase as wasn't sure of size. I then saw the negative reviews on here and was a little nervous but I did really want this particular dress. I got an automated reply immediately and as promised within 48 hours I had a really lovely friendly warm reply from the company answering my queries fully. I emailed them back with another query and again got a quick and full polite response. I cannot fault the customer services. Because of the negative reviews I called the fulfilment centre as there is a telephone number and they were very helpful too. I ordered the dress that I wanted and received it the next day. Yes the dress comes in very little packaging but surely that is better for the environment
It is still well protected in the packaging it come ms in. As for the dress it was stunning. I went by the measurements that the Customer Services team provided for me and it fitted me like a glove. I am delighted it is such a special dress and I cannot wait to wear it for a very special occasion I have coming up.
Fabric, cut, colour, fit and quality of my bright green Sabina dress are simply beautiful. Self lined stretch crepe gives wonderful structure and shape. The dress is a perfect spring/ autumn gown. I simply love it and would order from this company again with confidence.
I am in London and wonder if many of the negative reviews are from abroad due to customs issues?
I am a standard size 8 and I ordered an 8 which was perfect.

I emailed asking a sizing order and didnt hear back for a month. I then decided to order as the wedding was getting closer and Got charged 150€ duties but had no choice but to just pay it. Also for an expensive dress it arrived in terrible packaging. Terrible customer experience. Will never order from them again. Will order through farfetch or others. Such a shame because the dress is very well made

Worst brand ever !!! They never respond to my emails! I order from France and they ask for 165 euros of customs duties so I refused the package and then I don’t have any news or answer about my refund !!

what is it with companies who have no contact details and never return emails? i returned a dress weeks ago but have heard nothing and can not get through to anyone. I hate it. I will never shop directly with them again and go through third party if I was ever going to buy from them again. i suggest everyone does the same

Poor customer service, should have read the reviews. Ordered 3 dresses from UK to EU, had to pay delivery fee and insane customs fee (300€!!!) and then had to return at my own cost. They refused the return at the fulfilment center under the pretext that fees were attached to it and won’t refund me for the 2 dresses I sent back! I lost more than 1000€ from this purchase ! Poor customer service

The worst experience with customer service. No telephone, no physical shops, just a poorly email system. The clothes are expensive, plus the client needs to pay 10£ delivery, and the returns are at the client's own cost. The clothes aren't bad but Solace London has the worst, worst customer service. Please, if you can, don't buy from Solace London.

I ordered a dress expecting a next day delivery, after 2 weeks I contacted to inform them I haven't received my order, all you get is the automated email that say we will contact you back. No one contacts you no matter how much you email, no phone number to call. I had to involve citizen ADVICE bureau and my bank to get my money back. I received my money back after 3.5 weeks thanks to my bank. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SHOP, THEY ARE UNTRUSTWORTHY. IF I HADENT CONTACTED MY BANk IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A SCAM!

My $630 sequin dress arrived in a poly mailer from the UK. No padding, no garment bag. Nothing. Seriously? The dress was TWO sizes too small. I'm a US 2 and bought a US 4 (UK 8). It was too tight. I am very flat-chested, but the dress couldn't fit over my bust. They don't offer return shipping. You need to pay for it. For me, it was $80 through USPS International. They require you to label the package as returned merchandise. This means you CAN'T buy insurance because the package has no commercial value. They lack customer service. It felt like I was communicating with AIs but AIs is more responsive.

Update: They take more than 2 weeks to process your returns.

Bought some wedding dresses from them. The dresses are very well made. Definitely no complaints there. The packaging though is absolutely outrageous. I got £1000 worth of dresses delivered in a black 'bin-liner-like' bag!? I do not understand how they can drop the ball so bad. It is almost artistic, the juxtapose between the obvious care they put into their garments, and how they pack them for delivery...

I both two items recently and instead of being charged in GBP, I was charged in Euro at an insane exchange rate. I could have paid in GBP no extra fees involved but they issued the bill in Euro. I paid extra 70€ just because...and now one at their customer service seems to care about it. I emailed them several times and they keep avoiding the answer. Extremely disappointed!!
