We called in Solar Plants Ltd to upgrade and hopefully improve the performance of our 8 year old solar PV system. The company comes across as very professional and customer-focussed from the initial meeting where they reviewed our system and put forward options, to talking to their office about scaffolding and installation dates, to their installation team and then the follow up to make sure we could access the panel monitoring system. It's too early to know how much our system has been improved but their approach to the job was very professional.

From our first contact with Solar Plants, we were given answers toall the questions we asked,at no time did we feel pressured , Even when the sales personnel came to our house all the facts and figures were explained, he left us to consider if it was right for us,
Again when the engineer arrived to check for installation check
He was very informative, as with the installers, every thing was explained and cleaned up behind them.

A first class company to do business with, I will recommend them whenever I get an opportunity.

This summer my solar panels stopped working, within 3 weeks Solar Plants had completed the repair and upgrade. Since then every month (i.e. the last six months) my solar system has produced more energy than the same month last year. Not cheap, but the best is never cheap.

We received professional courteous service from the initial contact through to the installation. The installation works extremely well and I am sure that should we need to contact Solar Panels for any reason we would continue to receive a very high level of service. Highly recommended.

If your considering getting solar, do your research and know that not all panels and systems are the same.

More importantly is that not all companies offer the same level of customer service.

Solar Plants installed a system for me and from design to installation there no nonsense approach and quality materials really made the difference. Having LG panels, a brand you know and can trust as well as cutting edge monitoring tech really put my mind at ease. I've had panels fitted by Solarplants for over five years and they have performed exactly as described when I purchased them. Recently I've had problems getting generation information transmitted to the Solaredge app. I contacted Solarplants and spoke to a human who transferred me to Morgan who I can only describe as being the sort of person you always hope to deal with and the matter was resolved. If you are thinking of green energy look no further.

Hello guys

Before the storm starts again I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank Ian, Scott and the team on a job well done.... well, actually it’s much more than ‘just’ well done, you’ve been brilliant, helpful, professional and flexible.

I must give special thanks to Scott. That guy is a real extra-miler (which is rare today).

I’m sure he’s used to working in bleak conditions, even so, he met me every morning at 8am to talk through the days work and was still working and testing the system when I got home after 7pm.

If that wasn’t enough, during our installation we were hit with a bad storm... 60mph winds and horizontal rain. It meant the badly sealed plant room was leaking water. Scott could have stepped back but didn’t — he stepped up. He put up a makeshift tent made of plastic sheeting to protect our system... It’s still raining hard 3 days later and Scott’s tent is still holding up!

When finished (and despite a 3 hour drive) Scott wasn’t in a rush to get off, he walked / talked me through the system and gave me every confidence I could manage it myself.

The best compliment I can pay Scott is that he treated the job as if it were his own. He did long hours in some pretty bad conditions, came prepared, didn’t moan, was pleasant, positive and cared about the details... you may think I’m gushing a bit too much, but when you’ve been working with other trades which have far lower standards, the good ones are easy to spot.

We haven’t had a reliable source of power for nearly 4 years. Life has been hard at times, especially in winter, so this system is already a god send.

It’s still only early days but I have every confidence we have the right system for our needs. And if there are any bumps in the road ahead I have every confidence I have a team behind me to help.

Excellent service from enquiring online and having a chat with them, the home visit/survey was conducted in a very professional manner and the fitting team were on time, courteous and very professional. Follow up phone calls from the company have shown that they are are friendly professional organisation who value their customers

Excellent company to deal with. Customer services very knowledgeable.
The house roof was stripped and re-tiled whist the Solar Panels were removed.
Solaredge HD wave inverter & Solar Edge Power Optimisers were fitted once the roof was finished.
It was a big job and i am highly delighted with the finish.
