I received a leaflet in the post and was interested in a solar edge upgrade to my 16 panel system. I phone the company and arranged an appointment, an adviser called Paul arrived, and discussed the system with all the pros and cons . No hard sell at all . The installation went very smoothly and there was no mess left. The company checked afterwards if I was satisfied and had full knowledge of the system. I would not hesitate to recommend Solar Plants to anybody.

After visiting Grand designs show last year I came across solar plants and booked a free survey for solar panels. They gentleman that attended was insightful friendly,honest and professional at all times and explained how solar generation works and what possibility were for my type of roof and pay back after providing my annual consumption of electricity. After discussios with customer service team I went arranged for installation in January 2019 and was pleasantly surprised to see contractors arrived on time. They gave me various options on how best they could hide any cables etc so works was very asthrically pleasing. I was proved with app instruction registration to monitor my generation from my smart phone.l which was very handy as I have a smart meter so can monitor in real time energy usage l and solar production to further my savings.the work was completed the same day during light snow too. Contractors were very tidy and cleaned up after themselves.Solar plants were always on hand for any question I needed to ask in regards to registration for feed in tarrif and possible further savings such as storage solutions or ibost to heat water to in future having storage unit for any excess electric generated to use at night.As a Which Best Buy provider I would highly recommend their services for anybody interested in taking advantage of reducing energy. Very professional and dedicated to customer satisfaction at all levels of business you connect with. Thank you.

I have to say that I was a bit nervous when I decided to go ahead with having Solar Panels fitted. I knew I would probably get the "Hard Sell" and was pleasantly surprised with the approach from Solar Plants was far from this, At all aspects, Solar Plants Staff kept me informed of the progress of my order. I was absolutely stunned when, on the actual day of installation, the weather had turned and we had 2" of snow. The guys turned up at 9am, as they said they would and started to do the electrics. By the time I got home later, everything was completed, the site clean and tidy and the equipment operational. I was stunned, expecting them to come back at a later date to finish off! Any questions I had were dealt with by the office staff and I felt that the after sales service was brilliant. They even helped Me register with my electricity supplier. I had HIES installed in Feb 18 and in Oct 18 a fault was flagged up on one of the panels. Solar Plants have done nothing to address this problem and to add insult to injury they monthly send me an e-mail asking me to recommend a friend. My recommendation is find a reliable company. I have raised the issue several times and the last e-mail from the company said that the directors were reviewing the situation. This was a month ago and no further communication and I assume directors can't be bothered to sort out my problem.

Excellent installation - friendly and thorough team.

Excellent sales team, after sales not so good! Did not return call about after sales question about feed in tarrif. Also nearly 1 months till they noticed there was a communication problem with system after updating broadband supplier!

From Monday to Friday, Scott set up our solar array from scratch. Our dealings with this company were excellent from the start. We got quotes from a number of companies but these were the only ones who really seemed to know what they were doing. They gave specific and knowledgable advice over the phone and, at the end of the installation, left us with a fully functional, hi-tech power system. Great aftercare, too, as they monitor our system remotely.

From start to finish Solar plants exceeded my expectations, they upgraded our solar pv system to a solar edge monitored inverter and we had a Sonnen home battery installed at the same time.
There staff from salesman to installation engineers and back to the office staff couldn't have been more professional or helpful, they all know what they're talking about.

Useless advisory team.
I got in touch with this company as I thought they were in a good position to understand my project and come up with an efficient solution / recommendation for my property. Unfortunately this never happened as the 'engineer' (if you can call him that) that visited the property was more interested in showing me useless marketing videos, and talk me through 45' sales pitch than actually siting down with me to understand what I needed and come up with a recommendation for my project.

I have just recently upgrade my Solar Pannels to Solar Edge with a new Invertor by Solar Plants Ltd. I first saw there sales representative Mike Comer prior to deciding whether to go for the upgrade or not. I found the Sales Representative was a very knowledgeable person who new what he was talking about whiteout being pushy and making you feel uncomfortable. He explained all the fors and against of going for the upgrade which put my mind at ease and made it far more easier to decide and go for the upgrade. I found that the price was very reasonable, but I liked the Idea of being able to access the system through my Mobile Phone and Computer, which is monitored 24/7. This way I can see what’s going on and detect a fault if it occurred, which I couldn’t on the old system. After signing up for the installation the Scaffolding Company arrived and erected the scaffolding the day before the installation, again I found the workmen very polite and tidy with their work.
The following day the Installation Engineer arrived who was also very polite and clean working. The installation was carried out to my satisfaction and all I am waiting for now is a nice return financially on the upgrade.
I would definitely recommended Solar Plants ltd for Solar installations, they appear to employ the right type of people who carry out their work to the highest standard.
