Avoid all seemed too good to be true. I arrived in the dark, car seemed OK. My fault I did not video properly. The car was the reported damaged scratches etc. The car had not been moved off my drive for the weekend.

Everything perfect! Rented for 1 month and had no issues at all. Parisa from the office was very helpful and gave me a lift to the gate after returning the car.

Nice car and a bit of a surprise that "free milage" ment 5000km. Else good location and fast return of deposit so in all a very good service

Hired a car from Solo for months of Oct and Nov 25. The service was excellent on pickup. Quick and efficient.
I was given an upgrade from manual to automatic without extra charge.
Same efficient service on return of car.
I would recommend this company, and will definitely be using them again for car hire.

I rented a car from Solo from 02 October 2025, 21:00 hrs to 29th October 2025, 04:00 hrs. On arrival at Malaga Airport, we followed their Prepaid Voucher instructions, “How to get to the Solo Rent rental counter”, and specifically followed the instructions to be transported to the office of Solo by Shuttle bus. Our flight arrived on time. Although 20-plus Shuttle Buses turned up to transport their clients to pick up their cars, there was no show by Solo. We then called the office on the number provided on the voucher. No one answered the phone. Much disappointment and inconvenience, as you can imagine!
My wife and I had to stay in Malaga until the next day, 3rd October, before proceeding to the Solo rental office to pick up the car. We strongly complained to the office attendant and he told us that the office and the shuttle are not available after 22:00 hrs (although this did not appear in the voucher or contract). Other car rental companies that operate outside the Airport offer a 24-hour service. There was no apology offered by the attendant; he raised all the necessary paperwork and took us to the car. We left Solo to make our way to our accommodation.
As far as I’m concerned, Solo Rental are in breach of contract; failure to perform a duty accepted by me under the contract. They have lots of clauses in the contract that stipulate General Terms and Conditions associated with the contract that call for additional costs if certain stipulated conditions are not met by the Client. I’ve asked them to compensate me for the inconvenience, discomfort and failure of Solo to provide a 24-hour shuttle service to me at Malaga Airport, like other providers do. They refused to agree to this.
In their contract, they state that the cars are in perfect condition. This is not the case, as the associated photographs showed.
They demonstrate little Customer Care either at the Solo reception or their support operation. Give this company a wide berth and ensure you get a company that operates a 24-hour shuttle service.

2nd time using Solo rent a car from Marbella and for the 2nd time I'm very happy with the experience. Very quick and easy to deal with. Loved the online pre-registration. Liked that they sent us photos of the damages already on the car at the time of hire. They fully encouraged us to take our own photos and videos of the car.

We returned the car outside of business hours and it couldn't have been easier. The instructions were clear, gave good advice again regarding photos of fuel tank level, mileage and state of car on return. Popped the keys in the return box. Recieved an email at 9.30am the following morning (a Sunday) acknowledging our return and confirming everything was in order, no damages etc.

Will absolutely use Solo again. The price is great. Staff in Marbella are easy and friendly to deal with. Hire and return are a breeze. No quibbling or silly business like you expect from other car hire companies. Car returned Saturday evening, deposit was refunded to my card by Wednesday afternoon
