Best Deal and process was quick and straightforward
I was just looking around for the best auto insurance and they ended up having the best rate. The whole process was super quick and easy, and I liked that I could do everything online without any hassle. Definitely one of the easiest sign-ups I’ve done.

My agent Badeel was fantastic, but the sonnet website is riddled with bugs and problems. The website needs to be looked at again for QA and testing bc its a very frustrating experience

Go with another provider
Sonnet insurance was great until my credit card was stuck in the Canada Post strike and they cancelled my policy and ruined my credit. Their customer service was horrible and there was no understanding of the situation. On top of that I had never missed a payment before and had been with them for 5 years. Would not recommend due to horrible customer service and terrible policy.

This company is a joke ther are scaming people.iv had sonnet for 5 years. I had my son on my insurancehe was a bad driver. They ask me take him off so I did.
Then my insurance went up from 235.00 month to 315.00 it took me a little bit to realize that my insurance should be cheap. I never been in a accident. So I called them to talk about my payment they said they was a claim on my insurance.ther wasn't. It was a internal problem. So I ask them to see why I was paying so much they said they wold get back to me. That was 8 month ago. Right now I pay 345.00 my renewal is coming up and now they want to charge me 365.00 month. I that the longer you drive with no accident you get better insurance.
This insurance company is a scam don not trust them. I will be leaving then before my renew this month.

The lack of customer service is beyond unprofessional, especially when you need to speak to someone. Had my insurance set for my payday to take out and it literally to the minute of 12am will attempted to take it out when the funds are not even installed yet. To do is a business. I would think that it would have to operate during banking hours or business hours as my bank and employer do. So I asked if I could change it the extraction date, I've called several times waited on, hold. Finally spoke to someone after a 2 hour. Wait, and then still they told me I would have .to wait until it was repulled out of my account. And only then I would be able to call and make the changes. You cannot pay it on your own. As an average, Canadian payments and things have increased. So I do delegate my payments of importance around my paycheck. So for them, to pull out the money 10 to 15 days later, it ask me with nsf in a cancelation.
I find sonnet, very unprofessional and anything that says it's good is probably a bot, and if you don't think it's a bot, the whole company is ran by AI. So there's that.

Make a claim and they'll cancel your policy
I made a claim on my home insurance, they sent out a guy to take a look.
After a few weeks we decided not to move forward with the claim, however because we had asked for a review - they have now declined to continue insuring us when we move house.
After 4 years, I have to leave them ... because I made a claim.
And yes, they replied saying contact them - I did, FOUR times. Over 3 weeks to get the answer - their agents are personable and friendly but bound by insane policies (and most of them also don't email you back as per promises!)
