Sparkworld were very good
Sparkworld were very good, called me up to confirm my order, I had it booked for delivery the following week on my Tuesday day off, he said they could do an earlier day if I preferred and I said I was off on the Thursday before so he changed delivery and said the courier would ring on the Thursday to give a time slot. They didn't call, (Dx deliveries) so I went onto their chat and finally got to speak to someone and she apologised and said it had been delayed, she then said they couldn't confirm it would get to the depot that day, nor whether I would receive it that day as expected and apologised again and then when I asked about changing the delivery day she said we can't do that because it hasn't reached your local depot yet. So I told her that basically she was useless and couldn't confirm anything and this expensive package was now going to turn up on a day I was working! Fortunately, the delivery slot I got the next day was late afternoon and my work allowed me to leave early so that I would be there for delivery. I appreciate that at this time of year they are extra busy, but this always seems to happen with all couriers.

Impressive customer service
In February I bought an ex-display Asko heat-pump tumble dryer as part of a wedding present for my son & daughter-in-law. It was delivered in April, when their house could take delivery; and installed in June, when their house was sufficiently refurbished. It didn't work!
After many engineer's visits and sporadic operation, Asko's repair company finally agreed to take it back. They gave me a reference to give to Sparkworld who then arranged a collection and full refund on collection with a minimum of fuss. Unlucky with the dryer, though I was able to buy the same model elsewhere, but impressed with how Sparkworld handled what was ultimately a no sale.

I know my house is not the most accessible so not a good drop off. I did apologise as we would have made things easier but my husband is not well. The driver said ‘everyone says that’ That was very insulting as he really isn’t in a position to be helpful (believe me i wish he was)
