Offener Kamin mit Schiebetür und älter als 20 Jahre
Wir haben einen offenen Kamin der Firma Spartherm mit einer Schiebetür, die nach oben geöffnet wird. Der Kamin ist 21 Jahre alt und die Rollen in der Tür blockieren, so dass sich die Tür nur wie zum Reinigen seitlich öffnen lässt. Grundsätzlich hat die Firma Spartherm einen Kundendienst. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir folgende Antwort: "Leider müssen wir Ihnen mitteilen, dass wir für Geräte, die älter als 20 Jahre sind, keinen Kundendienst mehr anbieten können. Auch Ersatzteile für diese älteren Modelle sind nicht mehr verfügbar, sodass eine Reparatur durch unseren Service leider nicht möglich ist." Einen Kamin der Firma Spartherm, der länger als 20 Jahre in Betrieb sein soll, können wir nicht empfehlen. Überhaupt ist der Schiebemechanismus im Zusammenhang mit den Temperaturen nicht auf lange Sicht empfehlenswert.
