Very happy with the service that I got from the eye test and also the girl that helped pick my glasses was very helpful.
Great service 😊👍
Throughout my experience at specsavers all of the staff were very friendly and informative
I have difficulty getting glasses that fit comfortably from anywhere, and Jo, the dispenser, took a lot of time to fit a pair that I could wear without pain and discomfort.
However many visits and adjustments that I needed, she was very patient and kept me calm, as buying new glasses has always been very stressful for me.
Also, there are a lot more smaller sizes to choose from.
A big thank you to Jo.
All the staff were very polite and helpful in almost every way.
The only thing it took 2 hours to have my eye test choose some glasses and pay. I did have a free 3 minute hearing test but after choosing my glasses I honestly think I was forgotten about.
I raised this with a member of staff, then I was seen a further 15minutes later. I had paid for a 2 hour parking but I may have gone over this and I’m awaiting a parking charge to arrive through my door. So very disappointed with the wait.

I was welcomed at the door by Sunny, who smiled and showed me to my seat. I was quickly booked in by Junaid, who had a lovely manner. Junaid also did the pre-tests, which I found a bit nerve-racking but he was very patient and explained everything to me simply and clearly. I then had a sight test with Husnain, again I was a little nervous and he explained things clearly with each step of the test and what was happening. He had a very calm manner which helped me to feel at ease. After the test, Jay helped me to choose some frames, I find this part difficult but Jay really helped me and suggested frames that would look nice but would also fit my head and be practical to wear. All of the staff I met were friendly and courteous and I would definitely recommend the Stourbridge store to my friends and family. Thank you.
Everything is fine, nice service, this isn't my first time there. I recommend it and thank you.
Well the experience i had was very good very helpful staff specially the person who assited me name amed or hamad he was very nice and friendly also the optician mr sharma they both very good thats why i keep coming back to spec saver and every time i request mr sharma to check my eye they make sure its him i will get my appointment
My only concern was I have glucomma, it says on my notes. When I asked the optometrist about my visit 1 year ago it was the same. When I asked a different optometrist this time, he said to me "we wont go through that", surely id need a referral? Not just fob it off? Also the previous optician who did my glasses, a year ago, my distance glasses have been to strong i was told.

Helpful and friendly staff. Went above the call of duty to assure my glasses were right for me. Thank you.
A very nice lady optician. She kept me informed of the process and made me laugh in the meantime. What's not to like?

No one at Specsavers offered to test the glasses when I came to collect them. At home, I discovered that they made glasses for distance vision instead of VDU. When I brought them back, they hardly apologised and said that if I wanted to keep the distance vision specs then I would have to pay for this pair. Throwing these specs away seemed a better option for them than a good will gesture of letting me keep them as a way to apologise for their mistake.

I returned a pair of glasses that were unusable due to a discrepancy in the prescription and exchanged them for an update to long-distance specs. Told on the 22nd of April they would be ready for collection on the 29th, and I would be advised. No call, and impossible to contact the shop as no one answered the phone, so I had to visit to get information. Mr Chama, the manager, assured me the specs were in the post and woud arrive the next day, most likely, and I would be contacted. Called this morning, May 2, only to be told they are now in production! This used to be an efficient store, but after two lots of faulty glasses and now this shambles, it's time to leave and move to another optician. An utter waste of time and gross inefficiency on the part of Specsavers Putney.
