Spotify is ok if you want to pay their…

Spotify is ok if you want to pay their premium.
If you want to listen to what they decide you should listen to, then use Spotify non-premium.
I would like to hear an album, but can only listen to one or two tunes. Then, they force you to listen to what they provided.
Pretty annoying

THE worst .. breathe, think of kittens

THE worst company 'support' and 'service' possible. ALL DAY on Chat with no resolution, 5 so-called clueless agents, who implied in the end I was lying about an old hacked email address which I have no access to, and a Spotify account attached which I have no access to; for which I started paying. No Fraud section even exists. It is basically a scam. Stress inducing, terrible ethos. TIP: forget their chat, deal with your bank (dispute and block payments), uninstall and find a yoga class near a decent pub - if you value your sanity. Grrrrrrrrr.

unfair

I am aware that you can get subscriptions and there is benefits to subscriptions but I am trying to get in a better mood after a stressful day and I go to change the song because I wasn't in the moody for the current one and it said "get premium Spotify to change songs anytime" excuse me WHAT . I at least should be able to change my song and it just ruined my whole mood I don't want to pay for a subscription just so I can change my music.🙃

The very worst sound quality ads, especially if you are paying for them. Job opening at Spotify for a new sound engineer because the sound engineer they have doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Every day I listen to Spotify, there’s sound engineer does not know or how to set the Mike / line level on the input for these commercials. All I ever hear is distortion, come on Spotify get your act together and get yourself a real sound man that knows what he’s doing obviously yours doesn’t.

Let down.

Had an account for years for music, and enjoyed the service on the whole.
But they continue to up the price adding service I couldn't care less about and never asked for such as videos, podcasts and audio books.
I asked if they could put me on a basic music only account of sorts and wouldn't because I hadn't had a 100% continuous subscription since basic launched. (I missed like 3 months due to tough times and couldn't afford it).
Such poor customer service.

Zero Stars, AI Slop

If I could give Spotify zero stars I would. I had Spotify for a couple of years and was paying for premium for about a year. Recently, I was bombarded with AI slop. Despite disliking every AI generated song that came my way, I continued getting AI recommendations on my discovery channel. It got so bad that literally every song on discovery was AI generated. All of them sounded the same, had cringey album covers, awkward lyrics, and voices that never needed to take a breath. It's clear that Spotify doesn't care about humans or real creativity. AI ultimately harm real artists and I refuse to support a platform that cares more about promoting money-making algorithms than human creativity. When I listen to folk music, I want to escape, but when I hear AI creep into my playlist, it's an invasion of the safe space that real, raw music provides. It's hollow and flat. A machine cannot replace human creativity. Keep AI out of art. Since I switched to Coda music a few months ago, I haven't encountered a single AI song. I will never use Spotify again.

Spotify is perfect

ok people need to stop hating on spotify because you can get the free version of spotify with unlimited skips some dumb asses just don't know that and when you get the free one you just need to be patient like if you have a crappy macbook from 2012 you can't be blaming spotify for loading. and Spotify is literally free with unlimited skips and two or less ads between playlists. and it has a 1.7 rating because some dimwitted people give bad reviews and then use spotify because that's how f*@king stupid they are.

Charged after I cancelled my subscription

After I cancelled my subscription, they attempted to take money from my account seven times. Reaching them was incredibly difficult, and when I finally connected via chat, I only received copy-and-paste responses with no real help. I now have to go through my bank to request a chargeback for the money they have taken. I’m beyond frustrated with companies continuing to get away with such poor customer service - there seriously needs to be legislation to stop this.

I love absolutely music!

I love absolutely music! Spotify makes it easy for us music lovers to create Playlists with all our favorite songs. You can organize your playlists with Folders, and combine your friends taste with Blends. Absolutely love Spotify and fine a new favorite song everyday!

SPOTIFY!!!!! An ad every two songs! Are you serious?!? I thought it was ads every 30mins. Can I not just get 30mins of bleeping peace?!? Surely that’s acceptable to ask for without paying ~ 30mins without torturing me with interrupts. You are definitely NOT a company for the people. You are definitely a company FOR PROFIT. You’ve made that abundantly clear.
