Been a Spouter since day one

Been a Spouter since day one. It has everything I loved about its blue bird competitor but none of the hatred. Spouters have honest conversations that aren’t filled with hate. Spoutible Team have moved and built a remarkable platform that is safe for all.

A Breath of Fresh Air

I am old (80) and experienced on social media (since ICQ days) and I LOVED my early Twitter years, but it became too toxic for me.
I miss many contacts there, but after the steady, sane time on Spoutible, there is NO going back.
1) TOS very clear & promptly enforced
2) Serious, even vigorous, differences of (political) opinions have NOT degenerated into abuse.
3) Energetic protection of vulnerable people by others matters to me ... I salute that culture.
4) I have been on Spoutible since the beginnning and used botsentinel for years.

I have been spoiting since February and this platform is heads above all those that have come before. Great contributors and content. No bullies and trolls don't last long. People aren't focused on getting followers but having honest, legitimate interactions, and a lot of fun and spoofing.

Any issue you have is answered quickly…

Any issue you have is answered quickly by the Spoutible team. If there's a glitch in the matrix, they quickly address it. If it's a new feature that the users want and they think it's plausible, they work on it and make it happen. Somethings they don't want to add to Spoutible, and they'll explain why they aren't adding it. Spoutible is what you make it, it isn't for you to get a bunch of followers that you don't know to boost your ego, it's a neighborhood where everyone knows one another and makes sure the trash cans are taken in, if the neighbors are out of town.

A Social Platform To Be Appreciated

Excellent social media alternative to Xtwitter. No bots or generally disruptive types to ruin your day. Lots of features, a dev that listens to the community, and makes you have faith in the people around you again.

The platform is constantly evolving

The platform is constantly evolving, adding new features and is hard-core about putting the hammer down on trolls and abuse.

It is a bit of an echo chamber, but has potential.

Can they scale their moderation if they see explosive growth? Who knows? But right now, if you're a trash posting incel troll, look elsewhere.

Spoutible should be used as a role model

Spoutible should be used as a role model for other social media sites. They listen to their core users, implementing new features quickly and keeping trolls and bots off of the platform. The result is an experience that is reminiscent of the glory days of the original Twitter; with excellent engagement and information sharing and without trolling and disinformation.

Spoutible is the safest community on the internet. They are very responsible about enforcing terms of service. There are very interesting activities. There is no algorithm. The users create the communities. They print whole images with no cropping.

Amazing!

Spoutible is a fantastic app! User- friendly in every sense. Not only are the features easy to use, the community is amazing. The founder spouts often (multiple times a day) with updates on new features, fixes to bugs, etc. Ask a question, and you're as likely to get a response from Christopher Bouzy as you are from any other user. Importantly, hate speech and bullying are not allowed. Individuals who try to abuse the platform are easily reported, muted, and blocked.

Spoutible Is My Home Online

I have been on Spoutible since the beginning.
I have been more active there than on any other social media site, I have had more laughs---we do get silly at times---enjoyed more conversations and met great people. Spoutible makes it easy, to create threads, post videos, and pictures, and curate your timeline as there are no algorithms. There is always some new feature being added. Spoutible takes the user's safety very seriously and it is a comfortable site, with prompt attention to trolls, and any hate is swiftly dealt with. Most bad reviews will be from people who promoted hate and harassment and were removed from the site, as it should be. We can have different opinions but hate is happily not tolerated.
The only way to know if Spoutible is a place you would enjoy is to try it out.

A breath of fresh air

Spoutible has more features than any of the other microblogging platforms that I have seen or used and new features are being added regularly. If there is a feature that is somewhat controversial like AI produced summaries, the founder Christopher Bouzy provides a thorough explanation of the feature, how it works and its benefits. As in all tech, new features can sometimes have glitches but again, Bouzy is prompt at addressing these glitches and providing a timeline as to when the glitches will be fixed. The experience that each member has on Spoutible is really up to that particular member. The only thing that is asked is to respect the Terms of Use, which is really no different than any other software, app or technology. One of the aspects that drew me to Spoutible is the spirit of mutual respect between users. You can disagree and still keep things civil. On a certain “bird app”, I constantly saw incidents of harassment and got so tired of reporting them (and those were only the most vile incidents). What a relief that I no longer feel like I have to do that. Thanks to Spoutible I can just read, Spout, engage and enjoy.

Community and genuine engagement

My experience on Spoutible is remarkable. Imagine a social media company that actually protects marginalized people and follows through on its own rules. There is a great sense of community on Spoutible, enhanced by the lack of an algorithm. Your experience is what YOU make of it. As a result, engagement is authentic and organic. You have to follow people, echo and quote to get engagement back in return.

It's What You've Been Waiting For.

As a social site, Spoutible is THE one we've been waiting on. It has modern features with more added and planned all the time. What seems to make it stand out is owner @CBouzy, set out to build a platform free of those who may be rude, target certain groups or simply put, not conducive to friendliness. He also declined accepting pornography and built mechanisms to help keep it away. Spoutible is not 'tooty-snooty or fancy-smancy,' it's just better. It feels right. It's intuitive, easy to us, especially for those familiar with Twitter, and does not have a lot of limitations or gimmicky features requiring fees. It's a growing community that encourages conversations w/o algorithms or A.I. based nannies forcing 'likes' and shares. Those seeking sincere conversations with like-minded people on mutual topics and interest, will enjoy their experience on Spoutible.

The content of what I am looking for

The content of what I am looking for, trustworthy political news. Jon cooper, Steven Beschloss, Toni T Ahonen, Dr Jack Brown, Tristan Snell, Steve Marmel, Joyce Vance and Jeff Tiedrich to name a few are active on Spoutible. I also found some fun photography postings and interesting to me chit chat. My favorites are from Topher, Barbara’s Nostalgia and Cblifeisgood. The # DailyPictureTheme makes me smile. The colorful word cloud makes it easy to see trending word/subjects that may interest me. Good, no, Great job Mr Bouzy.

Like Twitter but nicer

Spoutible functions like Twitter, but the people are a lot nicer. Its founder, Christopher Bouzy, is always adding new features. There is an overall community feeling that is lacking from Twitter. I imagine that Twitter might’ve been like this at the beginning. And to add icing to the cake, it’s a black owned business. A less pleasant aspect of the platform is that there are a lot of main stream Democrats, who have trouble tolerating views of minorities who are disenchanted by the parties neglect of vulnerable people, the environment and its blind support of Israel. However, it rarely reaches the nastiness level of Twitter.

A new world

In an online world brimming with digital platforms, it's rare to come across a site that not only promises innovation but actually delivers it. This new social media site isn't just a platform; it's a game-changer, marking the end of the era dominated by the antiquated "bird site."

Community-Centric Leadership:
What sets this platform apart is the active involvement of its CEO. The concept of a company leader not just overseeing but actively engaging with the community is refreshing and revolutionary. This CEO doesn’t sit in an ivory tower; they’re right there in the trenches with us, answering questions, seeking input, and genuinely caring about the user experience. It’s a level of dedication and transparency that's unheard of in today's corporate world.

Innovative Use of AI:
Another groundbreaking aspect is the use of AI, but not just any AI. Here, artificial intelligence is employed to create a safer, more authentic environment, effectively protecting us from the onslaught of bots that plague other platforms. This AI doesn’t just filter content; it nurtures a space where real human interaction thrives, free from the interference of automated spam and fake profiles.

User Experience:
The user interface is intuitive, sleek, and a joy to navigate. Whether you're a digital native or a newbie to social media, you’ll find the site welcoming and easy to use. The blend of familiar features with new, innovative ones strikes a perfect balance, making it a platform that appeals to a broad audience.

Community and Content:
The content quality here is unparalleled. Thanks to the robust AI and active community engagement, the posts you see are relevant, engaging, and genuinely interesting. There’s a sense of community and camaraderie here that other platforms can only dream of.

Verdict:
This isn’t just another social media site; it’s a vision brought to life. It’s a testament to what happens when a platform genuinely values its users and strives for innovation. In a world where digital fatigue is real, this site isn’t just a breath of fresh air—it’s a gust of fresh, invigorating wind. If you’re tired of the same old, prepare to be delighted. Welcome to the future of social media!

There is no better place to hang your hat

I've been a member of the Spoutible Community since its inception, creating my account there in the first few minutes of it's going live on the first of February 2023.

Spoutible is a safe place, achieved by its strict adherence to an AUP/ToS that is inclusive to all but intolerant of trolls, violence, hate, prejudice and racism.
