It has been a total nitemare
It has been a total nitemare! Make sure you have a complete copy of your purchase receipt and dated and a picture of your warranty too! I have never seen such a situation on the phone for hours asking me to sent this and that and nobody is on the same page!! Now I did talk to Alex today and this is after receiving an email that our claim was approved and in 6 business days we would receive a check and 15’days later no nothing but Alex was the best of 10
People I have spent hours on the phone with going around in circles all over $850 for our burned out range hood from Zline at Costco.com we paid $399 for the warranty for the stove and hood so we still got some money towards the replacement but god only knows what what might happen should our 48” range go totally out??? We still have not received our check but Alex promised it would be in 6 more days possibly! I don’t like rating one star but the experience was beyond frustrating and time consuming to take care of
Something we did everything possible to solve before filing a claim with this warranty company by calling the manufacturer first and asking them for help but they said call your warranty because it’s not fixable after sending pictures of the issues

The problem with allstate is that no one is in the same page i file claim return my item it was received past 5 days I call allstate and the agent didn't know anything gave her my claim # and told me they hadn't received my item told agent it was received already I have confirmation from FedEx it was delivered took an hour before she found it and contacted someone else to verify my claim so no one knows what's going .

How does this awful company have any ratings over a 1? Will never ever ever purchase these plans again. Buyer beware. EDIT: **This part I am posting AFTER this review led them to call me for a "resolution". When I attempted to use their ONLY option of a customer-led claim filing online, the system refused to accept my claim and referred me to the manufacturer because it was "still within 1 year of purchase so it is probably still under manufacturer warranty." PROBABLY? There was NO option for me to proceed with my 1st attempt! I had to then call the manufacturer who stated that in fact, it was a special edition item and was NOT under their warranty and was SquareTrades responsibility. This was where my first phone attempt came. Their entire AI operated automated phone system had MAJOR glitches. First, good luck finding the phone number as it is purposely NOT listed anywhere on their site because they do not want you to call! I had to call 5 times and every single time, the AI voice system would either not acknowledge any of my replies to their prompts at various different points in the call or at mimimum, 8 to 10 minutes of dead air would follow a reply. Then it simply said "someone will be on the call soon" to help and 30 minutes later, after just dead air and an open call still, I gave up and hung up for the last time. I then got back on their claims website and to my horror, in a matter of 30 minutes since my first claim attempt, they had CLOSED my claim on their assumption alone, that they were not responsible! I had NO recourse until I went through loop after loop after loop, of prompts that finally led me to the system giving up and sending me to a live person via chat. I was disgusted by their response to my experience of "Well now that the manufacturer has denied your claim, we can proceed." NO! That is NOT how warranties work! The ONLY way I got a resolution was this review! That is unnaceptable. Their final "resolution" was to just refund me and provide me with a "better phone number to contact them to assist me in the future with my other warranties theough them." And that "better number" which they provided? Yep! It just so happened to be....the SAME exact number I called 5 times prior with no help from AI or a human! When the next purchase I make offers a warranty, you can bet if it is offered by AllState/SquareTrade, I will NOT be purchasing the coverage. Horrible business!

A smooth experience from claim to service
I had some difficulty initiating my refrigerator repair claim online, but once i got on the phone with a SquareTrade rep the entire process was excellent. I bought the fridge from Costco so was transferred to a special claim rep, he inputted the info, approved the claim and set up a repair window all on the same call. The repair part arrived ahead of time, the assigned repair company communicated well, and the repair tech arrived on time and knew exactly what he was doing. And once the repair was complete he was meticulous in making sure that the doors were again perfect sealed and aligned. An excellent experience.

Buyer beware of this useless insurance protection. They will deny your claim. They say they cover for accidental damage which is not true. They will deny your claim. i was setting an umbrella up and it fell from my hands and broke and they denied claim because they said it was windy that day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

I did not recieve any compensation though the plan that I got said they would cover whatever the manufacturer did not cover. I plugged the TV and the electrical socket burned the TV. I will not be buying protection plan from All State again. It was a waste of money.

Plan was for a hot water heater leak,which is would be obviously is emergent issue.Started claim around June 9th,submitted all requested info in a timely manner.Meanwhilemy garage wasis continually be flooded with water not to mention Luke cold showers as a result! Was informed by you that heater couldn’t be repaired & You Were Forwarding A Check To Purchase Another One Which has as yet been Received.Not Pleased with the lack of expediency of said process considering the urgency of said Issue Period.
