I am writing to express my disappoint in promotion fraud…

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the recent Starbucks promotion featuring the bear-themed glasses advertised at the beginning of November.

I was very excited about this promotion, as I collect bears and felt this item would have been a wonderful addition to my collection. Because of this, I made a special effort to wake up early and visit the closest Starbucks location to me as soon as possible. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was informed that the glasses were already sold out.

What was most surprising and disappointing was being told that the store had only received two glasses in total. I find this extremely unacceptable. Promoting an item so widely while supplying locations with such a limited quantity makes it nearly impossible for customers to obtain it, even when they make a genuine effort to arrive early.

I am left wondering why any location would receive only two promotional items, especially for a product that was clearly intended to generate excitement and customer engagement. This experience was very frustrating and did not meet the expectations set by the promotion.

I hope Starbucks will take this feedback into consideration for future promotions to ensure they are more fairly and realistically distributed to customers.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Starbucks Liverpool outlet closed due to hygiene/

"Quote from Liverpool Echo" The Starbucks branch in Thomas Steers Way, which is part of the wider Liverpool One complex and close to Chavasse Park, was inspected by Liverpool Council's environmental health inspectors on November 5. Following the inspection the branch was awarded a zero rating for food hygiene. This report could be seen in the local press. I have seen numerous low ratings for food outlets applied to the ever increasing number of foreign run outlets and some very dubious ones run by British owners. I have never previously seen a zero rating applied to an outlet the size of Starbucks. This maybe is just an isolated case but it does beg the question about Starbucks control of their outlets either franchises or run directly by Starbucks. A ZERO awarded to any outlet given most council's inspection standards must be very bad indeed. Starbucks has now re-opened the site and are requesting another inspection.
Do Starbucks not employ their own inspection staff to ensure standards are being maintained ? Judging by the report in question, it would seem not. Surely a company the size of Srarbucks should never receive an award as low as zero. Most companies of this size when receiving a Council Inspection on one of their outlets regularly get a 5 food hygiene rating. Some receive as low as 3 but I personally will be giving Starbucks a wide berth in future as a Zero is actually quite alarming.

Avoid Doncaster town centre

Starbucks in Doncaster town centre - staff should really think about their career choices. Miserable, stroppy and upset my 15 year old daughte with how they spoke to her. This was grown “ladies”.
Won’t be visiting again!

"Majorly disappointed with Starbucks 😐

"Majorly disappointed with Starbucks 😐. Tried the Peppermint Mocha and Chai Latte - absolute waste of money 💔. As a die-hard coffee lover who's sipped Starbucks in multiple countries, this is a major downgrade 😕. Not even close to their usual top-notch quality. Guess it's time to switch to a new coffee haunt

Starbucks Abercynon A470

Starbucks Abercynon A470. Second attempt to get a coffee there and failed on both occasions
First occasion - they do not take cash. No signage waited until I queued at the counter😪
Second occasion - no natural milk. Yes a coffee shop with no milk (soy, coconut etc available)
There won’t be a 3rd visit - what a waste of time

During my first visit in August 2025

During my first visit in August 2025 to the Starbucks Aachen market, I had a truly terrible customer experience. After that, I only visited this store twice more, even though I had been a regular customer for the five years prior. Despite these two visits, I again experienced incidents that reminded me of the original event.
In November 2025, after several months, I went there again to buy a coffee. During this visit, I learned that the incident from August was known to all employees and had become a subject of ridicule among them. The employees brought this up on their own, without me mentioning the topic; I didn’t even want to remember it.
Today, the third incident occurred, about two hours ago. Since the Starbucks at Aquis Plaza Aachen was closed, I bought coffee at another store and did not even sit down to avoid another incident. After leaving the store, an employee I did not know followed me and said that I was banned from entering – the store manager was not even present. The only thing I had done was buy a coffee and leave. Moreover, the name displayed in the app did not match my real name.
It appears that my name and appearance have been made known to all employees, and the incidents I experienced have been mocked among staff. Within six months, I have been harassed three times. Who has the right to publicly share my name and appearance in this way?
I am honestly very frustrated. I have audio and video recordings of all incidents, and legally, there is a basis to say that my personal data has been shared and I have been made a subject of ridicule. Why must this happen to someone who only wants to buy a coffee?
In particular, the red-haired manager at Store 35, 52062 Aachen, seems to be acting in the opposite way. She not only allowed the incident to become a topic of ridicule among staff but also shared my name and appearance with all employees. This violates the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Articles 5 and 32) and infringes on my personal rights.

Incident today:
The incident today occurred on December 25 around 12 PM. I had already been heavily disadvantaged and discriminated against in this store in August 2025. In November 2025, I noticed that this event was known to all employees and had become a subject of ridicule. Today, an unknown employee approached me, called me by my name, and said that I was banned from entering – without any apparent reason. The store manager was not even present.
Since new store manager has been working at this store, problems have only occurred. All my personal data appears to have been made known to all employees, and this happened in a city as small as Aachen.

This location at Decatur and Tropicana…

This location at Decatur and Tropicana is easily the most bias and poorly run downright offensive in fact, Starbucks I have ever encountered Coast to Coast and in my travels you can be sure they are in the dozens that I have visited so to repeat this is easily the most poorly run and downright offensive management staff and crew I have ever encountered at any Starbucks or for that matter and any retail similar type establishment anywhere plain and simple.

The manager Gabby pretty much stands behind whatever her flunkies and underlings tell her. Absolutely clueless to the truth of any given situation, and believe me situations there are many.

I will start by saying if it was not already apparent that it is pretty much 99% female managed and operated and if you were a man this grumpled about anything or anyone you might as well just be talking to a wall or a glutton for punishment and drama because what they do is allow homeless women in there with Incredible amounts of bags and luggage and the most filthy the rapid foul smelling and usually under the influence of some chemical for they are usually talking to themselves or mark off their territory like some kind of wild animal and in this one particular case I was actually asked to leave for asking this homeless woman if I could plug in doing outlet that she was using one of the two plugs on. The store is kept so disorganized and in this repair that an entire wall of outlets is dead and has been dead for over a month even though management has known for the entire time it is still a problem yet to be solved but apparently not one I have to worry about because I was 86th for arguing back when this black woman claimed this Outlet as her own even though she was only using one of the two plugs and hers was the only one available in the entire store she not only was adamant about me going and screwing myself and stop talking to her, but she did it at a decimal level I am not used to hearing maybe except for an airport when a jet takes off and I mean this lady was screaming at me not to talk to her and to leave her alone and it is her Outlet go somewhere else even though she knows there was nowhere else to go and even though she is not a paying customer and I am she proceeded to scream at me and me being a human being not even to mention a man and not about to sit there and be yelled at by a homeless woman with ten shopping bags and smelling like a locker room for even a minute especially when she was in the wrong and it's not even a matter of me being right it's a matter of we have to share sometimes in this life and take turns and understand when something is not working that the one that is working you have to share and to repeat I did not even make any comments about any profiling or situation that she might be in or even that she is not a paying customer and strictly wanted to know why she feels that she owns that outlet without even being a paying customer has the right to shout at me for merely asking if it is okay out of respect that no way that she deserve nor should I have offered, but I am a gentleman and nonetheless I did ask politely and kept getting yelled at being told to stop talking to her do not talk to me do not talk to me she screamed again and again and then started yelling at the Baristas tell him to leave me alone he's bothering me and they immediately took her aside and did not even ask what the problem was and just singled me out because I'm a man and I am in there often having never had a problem before, but nonetheless they were completely disinterested solely for the fact she was a black woman and I am a white male well-dressed and respectful and courteous to all but through her shouting and lies I definitely did raise my voice but she called me all kinds of names and drug addict and a hole and a dozen other foul names that I had to sit there and listen to and then be chastised by management and staff for turning to them for help and then having them start yelling at me to end repeating the lies that this homeless black woman was Shelly at me and immediately took her side and the manager Gabby also another woman didn't hesitate for a second today when I returned thinking that the situation was diffused and that woman was not there anymore, come to find that she lives there in the truest sense of the words and set silence while the Baristas berated me and lied to the manager about what happened and were completely disinterested in the truth and just a case of a bunch of women trying to assert their dominance over a man and they were going to come to the rescue of this homeless woman that is in there every minute of every day who uses the bathrooms for showers and doesn't spend the penny and takes up two tables with all her belongings and obviously lays claim to electrical outlets without letting anyone else use them whether she is using them or not. Avoid this foul place like the plague

Doesn't taste nice, very few seats for the tables.

They only have a few items on their digital in store menu, and they couldn't find a written menu! I ordered a hot chocolate with milk chocolate. They assured me I'd receive milk chocolate, but the hot chocolate was bitter with dark chocolate. They replaced it with a white hot chocolate which was almost undrinkable. Their ham and swiss cheese croissant was soggy. They have about 12 tables in the store with about 12 seats. I won't go back.

Sucks when gift card recipients can't access cards.

For Christmas, I placed an online order for gift cards (for my team) and today I recived an email that the order has been cancelled. Reached out to customer service and they have no clue. They check the activity and tell me an agent cancelled the order by mistake. How is that even allowed ? Without consent or requested by the person who placed the order ?

This is a review of Starbucks Pike Place whole bean coffee…

This is a review of Starbucks Pike Place medium roast whole bean coffee. I purchased a 40 ounce bag that was on sale for $16.99 US at my local BJ's. Regular price is $21.99 US.. This coffee came packaged in a light weight non-resealable Mylar foil bag with a standard degassing valve. The package had very little information about the coffee inside, just that it was Latin American beans roast type and basic brewing instructions and expiration date. This is a blend of Arabica beans. Upon opening the bag the fragrance of the whole beans was pleasant, smokey, burnt sugar sweet and coffee like. Inspecting the beans I found a decent quality bean roasted to a medium dark to dark roast in my opinion. This coffee had an expiration date of 5/2026. I ground 66 grams to a medium grind if about 700 microns on my Ollygrin BG710T conical burr grinder, again this coffee had a very pleasant fragrance. This 66 gram dose was brewed with 1.2 liters of cold filtered water in a Cuisinart Pure Precision CPO-850 automatic pour over coffee maker.
The aroma from this coffee while brewing was almost non existent. Upon cupping I found this coffee to have a sweet coffee aroma, tasting this brewed coffee I found a pleasant but not heavy mouth feel but the taste was of a bitter citrus, burnt sugar, smoky burnt wood. This coffee was not smooth on the palate and found the actual coffee flavors to be masked by the dark roast which made for a bitter taste. The SCA rates coffees with a cupping score of 80 or higher as specialty grade coffees. Using their scoring system I rate this coffee at 74.50. Starbucks is considered by many as one of the original roasters of the second wave coffee movement...the introduction of specialty coffee. As many of you may know my benchmark for coffee blends is Eight O'clock Original whole bean. This Starbucks blend has a long way to catch up. I could not find anything to like about this coffee...it is just barn yard nasty. At a price of $21.99 for 40 ounces or 55 cents per ounce this is quite expensive for coffee that is less than mediocre, let's say there are many better choices in that price range. Who is this coffee for, anyone who wakes up in the morning and asks themselves...how can I torture my palate today. I would categorize this coffee as bottom of the barrel. It was a huge disappointment and is not worth the money spent.
