A unique app to spice up the desktop.
Been using this for over 10 years. Clients get impressed when they see the desktop.
Con is it takes up system resources and makes the PC "heavy" (a little sluggish at time) but I have a pretty powerful PC so not a large problem

its just a great joy to use stardock
its just a great joy to use stardock. I have been using it before professionally. A trimmed windows server with stardock on it was the best engine for a laptop running virtual machines, still is :)

A marvelous software. Illustates beautifully.
This application has been fun to work with, enjoyable visually, and never ends with the possibility of more discovery. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants vibrant and varied computer-generated backgrounds.

I love the great variety of created scenes (both static and animated) that the community has created. The ability to have Deskscapes automatically switch scenes ensures (on one or multiple monitors) ensures a fresh variety of scenes.

Excellent software / Terrible support and sales
I have used Start11 and Fences for c. 1 year. The software impresses me, and I consider it excellent.
On the flip side, support is terrible, almost counterproductive, and sales services are doubtful - for example, they sell a single license with 5 activations in such a way that it is easily confused with 5 PC licenses.
They suddenly appeared with a new installation of Start11 (update/ upgrade?), and after reinstalling, not only did they not accept the legitimate previous key but also considered the mail address unknown.
