Nice place to stay in Dingle

Nice place to stay in Dingle. Stay at YNA was also nice. Accommodations were great. Very close to walking around Dingle.
Had an issue with tv. Management was coming to help with issue with TV. . No time was given showed up when we were out. Next day Showed up without advance notice. We were there and knocked and came in. Didn’t hear us saying to wait.
All in all I would recommend.
Lesson learned by both parties.

SCAM ALERT

SCAM ALERT! While we had a lovely time in Dingle, the host tried to scam our group out of $1,000 for a “broken table” that we had never even used. The house was clean and lovely, plenty of space. But be on high alert! Air bnb sided with us and we did not have to pay but now we cannot leave a review to warn others! I would look for other accommodations.

Truly disappointed with STAYYNA!

Truly disappointed with STAYYNA. My friends and I had a great stay at the Airbnb in Dingle, but after checkout, Lauren contacted us claiming we had damaged the dining room table and were responsible for paying for it.

She sent “before” and “after” photos of the table, along with a photo of the table being sanded, stating that it had been sanded prior to our arrival which had nothing to do with the actual damage claim. Upon reviewing the photos more closely, I noticed that the chair placement in the “before” and “after” photos was exactly the same, which raised concerns about the validity of the claim.

We requested timestamps for the photos multiple times, but Lauren never provided them or responded directly. The issue was eventually escalated to an Airbnb claims representative, who reviewed all of the evidence, including an additional photo we provided showing the table in perfect condition the day before we left. The claims representative also requested timestamps from Lauren, which she was unable to provide. As a result, Airbnb determined that we did not break the table.

During this process, I looked into other reviews for this company and discovered that similar situations have happened to other guests as well. That was extremely concerning and disappointing!

I would strongly recommend you do not stay with this company or that anyone staying with this company document absolutely everything with photos and videos both upon arrival and before checkout. Unfortunately, I was also unable to leave a review directly on Airbnb because the host disabled reviews for our stay. This may explain only good rating on Airbnb.

Captain's Rest Dingle

Captain's Rest was a great place to stay in Dingle, perfect location and lovely house to stay with our family and two toddlers. Check-in was simple and Rosie was very helpful.

Gem of a stay

I have to agree with so many of the other reviews...
Great communication, everything you needed and very accommodating. Loved the views and proximity to lovely shops, restaurants, tours and simply the greatest people. Thank you Lauren and Rose!!

Great wee spot in the town

Great wee spot in the town, right on one of the main streets but still felt private and was never noisy or had rowdiness outside (We visited in March).
Has everything you could need for your stay, plenty of space and bathrooms for big group, kitchen has nice set up and washing machine and dryer all available to use as well.
Host was very responsive and dealt with a minor issue we had straight away.
Would recommend. (:

The accomodations were fantastic and property manager was very welcoming

The accomodations were fantastic and the property manager was amazing! They made sure we had everything we needed in advance of arriving and shared some wonderful local areas to visit. The house was very clean and comfortable.

After our stay we left some belongings behind and the property manager went above and beyond to make sure the items made it back to us.

Highly recommend stay yna and in particular Beech House in Kenmare

Lovely stay in the French Riviera

Thank you for the excellent communication before and during our stay. We appreciate the early check in on short notice too. The property was very clean and the descriptions were accurate. Highly recommend!

It is beautiful

It is beautiful, warm, comfortable, with stunning views from every window and I particularly love the layout of the house. It is all on groundfloor which is mobility friendly and also eliminates the possibilty of upstairs noise. The layout of the house with library on one end and bedrooms on the other also made it very suitable for children (or adults for that matter) to nap while others can read/play music or board games in the library. The kitchen and dining room is well kitted out with everything youd need. Its only a couple minutes drive to the home village of 'scoil ceoil an earrig' festival in February when there is live trad music and dance and much more in its 3 pubs and hotel, it was ideal for us and comes highly recomended

Perfect and warm family holiday home

Our overall experience at the house was great. We landed here after a long journey to a warm house. The folk’s running the company are good at anticipating the guests’ needs and they communicate well prior to arrival. Advice such as stocking up on supplies and good communication helped with extending our stay an extra night. Check in was smooth. The house itself has great character, warmth, cleanliness and comfort. The well equipped kitchen had all we needed and there was a constant lovely warmth in the area. A large table to facilitate everything. Good books, games and puzzles for the little ones. It’s a perfect family home, in a beautiful area with great views. Just a stone’s throw away from a lovely little beach with great waves. There is a man operating a Sauna for the seasoned sea swimmer.. The village has a relaxing atmosphere. We had happy memories of this house and would love to come back again.

We had a fantastic stay at the Lookout…

We had a fantastic stay at the Lookout property in Dingle. Incredible experience, great location and real escape from the busyness of day to day life. We were lucky to be staying during some stormy weather and view from the warmth and comfort of the house was INCREDIBLE.

Scam Artists

We booked our stay in Nice on Airbnb, Stay YNA were the hosts. One day after booking they asked for an additional $652 saying the price was incorrectly listed. ( Is that allowed?) Then they charged my credit card another $608 two months later. I wised up and disputed that charge and was reimbursed by the credit card company. Phew.
The apartment in Nice was lovely but the TV stopped working. Instead of sending a repair person they accused us of hitting the tv. Completely ridiculous. I would never rent from Stay YNA ever again. They ruined our vacation but these false allegations and insisting that we pay for a new tv. Watch out! Read the many other bad reviews that echo our experience.

AVOID - inflexible and uncompassionate

AVOID. I wish i'd have read the reviews before booking. We had to cancel when a family member was rushed to hospital with life threatening symptoms. Our family live overseas, 11 hours away. This was 3 weeks before our booking; I contacted the company to appeal for flexibility - we suggested a refund or credit note to be used against a UK property. This was flatly refused. A member of their team had the audacity to say that this was because we had provided "insufficient" notice - i kindly reminded them that this was the nature of an emergency. Again they came back to complain at the lack of short notice. A refund could have been achieved by readvertising the property - there was a huge event on in the town that weekend and it would have been rebooked. I escalated my complaint to the owners of the company who stood by their cancellation policy. We've carried out some research for other likeminded business, Stay YNA are by far the most inflexible. Needless to say we will never book with them again and will recommend that friends and families avoid them at all costs too.

In response to the reply - we have been very disappointed with the service. We did the right thing by contacting you privately and have bounced many emails back and forth over the past month to find a solution but you have remained inflexible. You left us with no other option than to make a review of this nature. A credit to be used against a UK booking was not the only solution we proposed. You have misrepresented the truth - we contacted you on 16th September to advise we couldn't make it and again on the 3rd October (the day before our booking). I won't even speak again on the unkind response from a particular member of your booking team. The reviews for your company on this platform speak for themselves.

I'm very disappointed by your review. In your email thread you made it clear you couldn't go to France and wanted a place in the UK instead. We advised we could move the dates for the booking in France but we do not have UK properties. You advised us not to move the booking as you 'might be able to make it'. It wasnt until your arrival day you told us that you had to cancel and again asked for a credit notice for a UK property!?! - We explained again that we do not have UK properties" and after this you insisted on a refund even though you agreed to our T&Cs at the time of booking and cancelled on the day of arrival.
We advise all guests to take out comprehensive travel insurance to avoid situations like this but you passed on this responsibility and now believe it is Stay YNA's responsibility to financially compensate you for your lack of judgement.
TO ALL FUTURE GUESTS - we advise you have comprehensive travel insurance to cover you should any unforeseen emergencies occur. As a business we will be as flexible as we can (moving dates, changing times) but asking for refunds on the day of arrival or credit notes for properties in countries we do not operate in, will only result in disappointment. So disappointed

So disappointed to say I cannot give this Company a positive review. We rented a house for a week and due to personal reasons had to depart the next day.
I completely understand Stay YNA, have to meet their terms and conditions and contracts with the home owners, but there was absolutely no compromise or chance of any refund for customers.
If I was a home owner I would certainly recommend using this company because you will get all your money for the rental regardless of any issues for the customer renting.
If you choose the rent a house via Stay YNA, make sure you have the most comprehensive travel insurance you can afford to buy. I do have travel insurance and struggling to get a refund, a small good will gesture from Stay YNA in this case would’ve gone a long way.
If I’m honest I wish I’d never booked through Stay YNA, wish there hadn’t been illness in the family and wish I literally written a cheque for the full amount of the stay and given it straight to charity. It was not a small amount.
Regardless Stay YNA followed their terms and conditions so cannot be at fault for this, it was the lack of empathy or goodwill or customer service that hurt. My experience has shown the homeowner is who Stay YNA are liable too not the people renting a property. It’s a chicken and egg though because without people wanting to rent homes then there is no money coming in.

We try and be understanding of guests situations and on many occasions move bookings or guests to accommodate their circumstances.
It seems you understand that we are liable to the owners financially once a guest has arrived in the same way that travel agencies and airlines wouldn't be able to give you a partial refund for cancelling their services on the day.
I'm sorry for your situation but this is a prime example of why we ask all guests to take travel insurance so that we are not put in this awkward position.
