For a million dollar with secure data and servers that cost millions how do people keep getting hacked by fake employees and how unhelpful greed mfs
Steam siding with scammers
This is an unclaimed profile which tells you a lot about how Steam/Valve view customers.
I have been a customer for years (since 2015!) and have spent an absolute fortune over the years.
Recently I got into a bit of a dispute with a developer scamming people who blocked me from the community forums. Being the sort of person I am, I immediately popped up on another forum of his - and got banned!
Steam not only sided with him but sent me a warning. This developer is taking people's money for an abandoned project and banning anyone who raises it. Steam/Valve show no interest whatsoever. This is where I wish I had a platform such as a successful social media channel or something. Steam would change their attitude pretty quickly!
What can I say
What can I say, its just steam 10/10 service never any issues, Customer support always on your side!
Extremely poor customer service
Extremely poor customer service. Got locked out of by account by steam guard and after failing to help me customer service closed my ticket. No phone number to call only emails that are generally 12 hours apart, often repeating the same thing. After a week of this my ticket was closed without resolution. I have no way to access my account or the dozens of games I have purchased.
I will never buy anything off of steam…
I will never buy anything off of steam again. I've spent over 3 hours trying to figure out why my authenticator app on my phone won't send me the code for the Steam app on my computer. And there's nobody to call at Steam or even a live chat to talk to anybody you're all on your own with this terrible company.
I've been using Steam as a platform for…
I've been using Steam as a platform for buying games for over 7 years now. The only thing that baffles me about this platform is that I can't buy a game as a gift for a friend if they're in another country and use different currency. I don't understand how it works
Incredible support team
My purchases with steam were completely fine, and i love the layout of the app. The main reason im writing this is because their steam support people are absolutely amazing. Both times my accounts got hacked they managed to get it back within the day. Truly amazing job from steam.
5+ Year experience on steam.
Game in the steam is really good, with a lot discount 50-70% because Major Seasonal Sales, summer, autumn, and winter.
You can play 20-30 dollars game, if you miss the event you can wait again for next event to buy more that one game.
Don't forget is regional price on steam, maybe in your region the discount is not worth it, but in other regions the discount is very worth it to buy.
So enjoy gamers! :D
The worst platform that can be
The worst platform that can be, support is shit, moderators are дерьмо , if you want to save your money and nerves, don't even register in this dump.
Greedy corpos
So I ended up getting hyped into buying Red Dead redemption 2. Okay I get it. Everyone says it's this and that yeah it's cool cowboys and then the story looks good but I will. Was really disappointed with how slow and clunky the movements and everything just really is about it so I didn't like it. But you know as everybody else reading the task I have a life so a little bit of time went by before I could get around to seeing if I could get a refund. I didn't even want cash back. I wanted just you know some stream credit to find a game that I would actually enjoy playing. Or did I get though? I got told no repeatedly because I played 2 hours and 3 minutes over 25 days in total.
And they would not make an exception. I am blown away of the greed of some people, especially when Steam generates so much money it's crazy to me that you couldn't even provide someone just with steam credits. I didn't want money back. I just wanted to try and find a game I'd enjoy playing. So now I have this terrible game that I'm probably never going to play again. And and they really just gave me a bad taste in my mouth that I don't think I'll be doing business with them at all again. Buy my games elsewhere.
steam sale good
Account has been hacked or something - Demanding CD Codes, etc, etc
Account has been hacked or something, and Steam are offering no support or help.
Using Steam almost since they first came out. Logging in now, they are demanding CD keys for games that have no CD keys, because they were all purchased directly on Steam.
At this precise time, I have lost my account, all my games, all the community work I put in.
Steam or Valve Corporation offer zero support, and obviously have a lack of communication skills regarding a HACKED account which is basically what has happened.
Demanding CD keys to be able to log in or reset the account when all the games are purchased in Steam, makes no logical sense.
So 100% locked out, no way to really get in touch with Valve or Steam and hundreds and hundreds of £££ worth of games and my community work, just all gone like that.
I have words to describe Valve Corporation, Steam and the likes of Youtube, and all tech companies. TrustPilot would delete those words immediately. But I think you get the gist of what I mean.
Steam / Valve Corporation like any of them, they do not care for you, me, or anything else but themselves, end of.
Steam and/or Bethesda don't work!
Steam and/or Bethesda don't want to put forth the money they take from their customers to maintain their system for gameplay. In the last two years, trying to play Skyrim and Skyrim Anniversary has been nothing but a problem. Slow loading, slow gameplay, crashing. NO GOOD, don't use Steam and don't use Bethesda
Account recovery and assistance would…
Account recovery and assistance would really take time not ideal for gaming
acceptance code
I have tried more than 10 times to get a code to sign in on steam. Their website/customer service is very bad, they don't let you write a comment or say to them what your problem is. When I sent an email to Steam they responded wth a link that didn't even help at all.
Steampowered has great products
Steampowered has great products, good prices on games, and is available for you to have fun, it's a good company, all of their games are good and I've bought some games recently they work with the client.
5 out of 5.
Steam support the best
Steam support is one of the best supports i have encountered. Customer service on another level
never had an issue with them.
