Absolute scam of a platform. They ban you the second you "break" any guideline, or by telling them to deal with their troll problem. The trolls don't get banned, you are. Stay clear if you have any self-respect.

They crack down on the wrong people:
They keep suspending my account for very minor things. seems if you disagree with people they report you and you get suspended.
Examples:
1) said "sh#t" in one conversation. but they took that out of 100+ posts. so i could tell they were grasping for reasons. I belive they auto suspend your account if enough people report you. then they look for a reason afterwards. This happens like every few weeks each time i disagree with other posters "i said the company is run like sh#t" refering to a car stock MULN
2) The other time I was refering to a stock pattern called "Bullflag" (Bearflag/Bullflag) then the second time i said it there was a typo Bullf#g . but the context of the post was clear I was not insulting people, just a typo (I said after the 15 min timeframe it still looks like a bullf#g)... obviously meant bullflag. But they said it was hate speach and gave me a 14 day suspension.

The website is such a mess, a huge mess of add-ons and a clunky interface.

The boards are toxic as hell and are not moderated. There is no fair stock discussion whatsoever and the admins and mods will do nothing about this. Just look at boards like ALPP and MULN.

If 4chan had an investment board then this would be it.

A most horrible experience. The pop-up and moving ads are so intrusive, it makes it almost impossible to read anything on there. RIDICULOUS. And it just keeps getting worse and worse. Cannot stand it. NEVER again.

I've never seen so many death threats, attempts to solicit doxing and generally horrendous financial advice being offered before in my life.

stockwitz is a political garbage. They allow bots, political junk on their board instead of those who invest in the stock. I opened in one day and sent email told them to close my account. Many users are not even share holders their just spam, bots,political haters and stockwitz allows it all except those whom they diagree with. Not getting involved with a platform like that.

Don't use Stocktwits. They will suspend your account without any reason. Recently my account has been suspended and I tried to connect with their support but they told me that I have created multiple accounts. 😂

I saw so much crap during my time on this site. There were so many personal attacks launched against people who didn't share the mainstream beliefs on a particular stock. Threats, racial slurs, foul language and other obscenity, and so much other crap goes on there yet the people behind this vile behavior never seem to get reprimanded in any way. I on the other hand got a permanent ban for expressing my honest view of a stock that wasn't offensive or attacking in any way. Please do yourself a huge favor and don't invest your time on this site. If enough people don't agree with your views they simply ban together to report you and the not so bright people at Stocktwits aren't smart enough to realize that it's nothing more than a coordinated attack because you don't share the popular view and they will ban you without merit and without really looking into anything.

ST is a very unethical and poorly managed website... After posting to the site daily for more than a year, and strictly following there site rules, I suddenly received a 24 hour posting restriction without cause... The post the cited for the account suspension did not in anyway violate their rules... So, I replied to them via email stating the same, and I received an auto reply stating they'd reply in 5-7 days... Wow... The most ironic aspect of this ST situation, is that it's a very low quality investing website that allegedly is intended for people to share investing ideas, when all it really is is a lot of low quality users who post mindless and creepy drool...

Malware paradise.. Shortly after i downloaded this app. I has several password reset request from various other platforms. This app is based in India. Land of internet scammers.. no offense just facts.

TOO MANY SPAM ADS from users (discord rooms, trading platforms, etc.). What a bloody hassle weeding through them!!!

My account was banned in first day for no reason, no reply for email either. Believe that stockwits possibility a fake media megaphone.

Premium trash, they will block your account for having an opinion or disagreement. 60 mil account is a joke since average user has like 10 of them.

whenever I post on any stock board my beliefs about a stock whether or not it is overvalued or undervalued I get repeated attacks, when I respond to those attacks those same people will report me and now my account has been suspended. There are 2 many snowflake moderators, men that wear man buns and drink fancy lattes & have never worked a real job. Men that are soft and get off on the 'power' of suspending accounts. Pathetic. People can't handle personal opinions anymore. Same as Twtr, lol

Unacceptable service, another waste of time just with the idea of earning money with advertising and using the information of non-adhered professionals to make their friends and collaborators known. Little ethics when wasting the time of professionals to get money from 4 promoters. Honestly DO NOT waste your time with these people.

StockTwits is works al ot like Twitter and has the same problems they do: fake accounts, trolls, robot, and spyware imbedded in their web pages. It WAS damn slow, and WAS constantly waiting for one ad site or another to get ahold of web cache. Since I first reviewed this site with ( 2 stars ) they have improved the interface and are now working well. It does give you a bit of insight into why a particular stock goes up or down suddenly.

Stocktwits discriminates me for being Turkish. I got called names and sweared at. It made me angry this person was not being suspended so I messaged him back.

Not even 30 minutes later I got suspended for derogatory language.

I explained the situation to their support team, but they would not reactivate my account.

These guys support racism and discrimination.

StockTwits is a social board that is categorized by stock ticker symbols of publicly traded companies on US indexes. You can post comments, photos, or a .gif from their collection. Unfortunately my experience on this site was totally negative. Once I actually registered and verified my email I set up the stocks I traded and immediately noticed that on most ticker boards there were more political comments than bots pumping worthless tickers. After an hour I decided to post a comment on one of my stocks. Immediately after pushing the “post” button I was sent to login screen. Upon logging in with my hour old login/pw I was informed that my account had been suspended. This was followed by an email announcement that my account was suspended. I replied with a verbal 🤷🏻‍♂️ and was informed that I was locked down due to their algorithm. They then sent an email saying reinstated. Was able to log back in but was scared to try and reply again for nearly a month. I just read the boards & replies. Was immediately obvious to me that there were quite a few accounts that were leaning way left that were replying to seemingly normal posts about the stocks. I’m off this site and won’t ever view anything there again. It appears to me that the same admin board that operates at Twitter was in charge in this site. Obscene posts and replies were never given even a temporary ban, however nearly anything right leaning posted by anyone ( especially anyone that self identified as Republican or pro-Trump) had a heavy hammer of bans and kicks 🦵. If you have a foul mouth (regardless of your writing/spelling acumen) and your political views lean left, you may well enjoy this site. If you are an average American citizen, you will end up compelled to write a review regarding your negative experience on StockTwits.

They are frauds and are working with third parties to gather sentiment and trade against you, while also creating false propaganda to make you either buy or sell. Stay away from this website at all costs.
