Excellent. Ordered easily with clear website and useful accurate calculator. Arrived 08:00 am the day I specified delivery 2 days later. Good customer services as well throughout. Would definitely use again.

I am so glad I ordered from Stone & Garden. Not only is their price extremely competitive, they also offer free delivery within just a few days (their closest internet competitor couldn't deliver for several weeks) so it was a no-brainer for me! Also the delivery driver was pleasant and delivered several bulk bags onto my drive without a fuss. A straightforward, smooth transaction. I highly recommend Stone & Garden.

After reading the mixed reviews on The Stone and Garden Company and felt compelled to write a review about my positive experience.
Firstly I found their prices were very competitive. At checkout I was able to select a delivery day which suited me and was only 3 working days away. Delivery costs were very reasonable too.
Delivery was confirmed on the day and driver arrived during the time slot. Driver was extremely pleasant and helpful and only too pleased to place the pallet of stone at the top of my driveway where it would save me time and effort.
A well deserved 5 star rating for excellent service.

A couple of years ago I ordered granite chips and the product itself was exactly what I ordered. Unfortunately the company used Walker Transport (Wakefield) and the driver was a complete idiot. He pulled up, got out and went off to speak to my neighbour about driving lorries.
I said you are delivering to me and he just blanked me so I went back inside the house. After more than 20 minutes he came to the door. He said nothing, just held out the delivery note for signing. I told him I did not want it and closed the door. He loaded up and went off. In the meantime I called the company to find a young inexperienced staff member who did not have a clue.
Shortly after, I saw the driver talking on his phone and he parked up down the road. Then I got a call from the company with a very reasonable and pleasant person who said she would sort it. The driver came back some 10 minutes later. Not happy at all. Now claimed his pallet ruck had a flat battery so it was a lot of trouble for him to unload now. Finally managed to unload on to my driveway. Due to this I used another company for other deliveries.

Last week I needed to refresh the granite chips so took a chance and ordered from Stone and Garden Company again. Delivery was by another company and it came within 3 days. The driver was pleasant, helpful and chatty and a complete reversal of the first delivery above. The granite chips were the same as last time so no complaints at all.
I'm giving them 4 stars for the huge improvement.

I purchased a bulk bag of slates for my garden on Tuesday I was very surprised at the quick delivery considering the company is far from where I live.Arrived on date given.I would recommend this company to anyone.

my wife ordered polar white chips for the drive, they came late after delivery was cancelled the first day as driver was out of time, second day they were supposed to be delivered early in the morning after 2 phone calls to be told it would be afternoon, had to send back as they were the wrong size to be told it would cost 50 pound plus vat to return which the driver never stated this, so we said ok thats fine we will still get 106 back of 156.20 spent on these stones got my refund today which was only 65, called stone and garden to be told more charges had been added on which we werent made aware of in the first instance, so we ended up paying 91.20 for something we dont even have wont be using this company again, will also be recommending on social media people do the same, as i believe this to be disgusting with poor customer service.

Used this company twice. First time five stars. Great product. All my neighbours admired so thought I will order more 20mm arctic blue gravel. Second order poor quality. Not one stone above 10mm. Tried to send it back but delivery driver refused saying too heavy for his tail lift. I really wanted to give a good review as fast delivery but you get what you pay for.

We've used The Stone & Garden Company twice in the last few weeks (10 mm Black Basalt and 20mm Cotswold Chippings) and have just placed a 3rd order. Both times we have requested specific delivery days which have been met. Communication has been good and delivery has been quick (apart from when we wanted it delayed). Very happy with the products and price too.

Impressive

I ordered online and the sand arrived within the week. During this lockdown you can't phone them, and I was prepared to wait a week or so, however it arrived within days. The only thing is that we were hoping for a text or email to say the driver was on his way, and he just turned up ! We aren't going anywhere so all was good. I will definitely order from them again.

Ordered some Cotswold Chippings during the Covid-19 pandemic, I expected delays as I had with a different supplier of said stone. In comparison the Stone and Garden Company, offered a delivery date, delivered on that date, no delays, great price and super friendly delivery driver. I need some more Cotswold Chippings, am currently hanging on ordering as out of stock!

The stones that were delivered (50-80 mm Scottish Cobbles) all had dimensions that far exceeded 80mm - When I informed the company they were very unhelpful charging £70 for the collection which they refused to reimburse.

The product you get from this company may not match the decription. Be aware that most stones have dimensions that are far bigger than advertised and when you complain your are just quoted disclaimers.

Great company and fast delivery.

My garden now looks amazing due to the quality of the product I had ordered, although I left the order till last minute (11:45am) for the next day delivery (overnight service £9.60) I still received my 2 bulk bags by 10am the following morning.

The delivery driver was courteous and placed the pallets exactly where I needed them so they wouldn't block access to my garden gate nor stop my main gates from closing.

Colour of the slate matched their website perfectly and size was also amazing for the job, the white spa gravel, well words can't describe how good it looks in contrast to the blue slate and decking. Great colour to it too and not a lot of dust to it which I was surprised about.

Will definitely be using them again in September once my back garden is ready to be landscaped.
