I love Structube - great design, quality and prices

I love Structube. I furnished my vacation condo at Structube and it was super convenient, looks great and I had a great shopping experience. That was in 2019. In 2023 I furnished my west end Toronto bungalow using Structube sofas, chairs, rugs and lamps and I ordered over the phone. Great service, the phone was answered promptly and the items I ordered came on time and in good condition.

Cooper sofa buying experience

I made a purchase of cooper sofa on Jan 2023 from Structube seeing all the raving reviews on their site.Bought delivery was smooth.

But 2 pieces of the 3 piece sectional was broken and had to go through the hassle of warranty to get 2 new pueces. The problem was that they dont return the damaged pieces and you have to deal with their crap.

Next thing I noticed is that I wrote a review on their site and all the reviews are the ones approved by Structube. Thats the reason why you see all the review as 4 or 5 stars.

I had the issue with one of the cushion that got saggy in 5 months. Again the hassle of warranty. This time its categorised as wear and tear. As if i made the foam to break which is inside the cushion cover. Since I dont want to waste my energy and time on this I told them that I am willing to pay for it. But as per the structube policy they dont sell any items separately. What a great policy.... Now I can stuck with 2500$ garbage from structube.

Good deal is a TRAP! Don't get yourself into never-ending cycle of trouble like me

I really hope the platform allows me to give ZERO star! I cannot stress enough how incredibly disappointed I am with Structube. Their customer service is beyond terrible, especially at their Richmond NO.3 Road location. My recent experience over there was nothing short of a nightmare, the store manager there was incredibly rude and unprofessional, showing a complete lack of respect for customers.

Not only did the manager display a complete lack of professionalism, but they also engaged in back-and-forth phone calls and emails that were utterly unproductive. Instead of assisting in resolving the issue, the manager resorted to yelling over the phone and placing the blame on me, claiming it was solely my responsibility to rectify the problem. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and shows a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction.

I have tried to seek for solution by calling the customer service hotline, and I cannot express how utterly useless and frustrating it was.To make matters worse, instead of taking accountability and working towards a resolution, the hotline staff simply passed the buck and directed me back to the same rude store manager who initially caused my dissatisfaction. It was a never-ending cycle of frustration and disappointment, with no end in sight.

Good deals there is a TRAP! I sincerely regret that I didn't look for the reviews before I made this impulsive decision. You can fact check yourself by typing “ Structube reviews”, you will see a lot of victims, don't be the next!

I certainly hope that my review will be seen by management and changes will be made! I bought three dining chairs which were picked up last week( we couldn’t get delivery as we were short about 25.00 to be eligible.) Btw, my husband and I are both seniors. We brought the box of Unassembled chairs up to our third floor walk up and when we opened the box, the chairs were orange and we ordered grey! They absolutely refused to pick up and deliver the proper chairs unless we paid $40.00 cash at the door!!! We had to go there, drop off THEIR MISTAKE and get the box that belonged to us! When my husband got there, he asked the manager if they would give any compensation for this MISTAKE OF THEIRS and he was told NO!! Disgusting customer service! Never, ever buying from them again!

Cheap furniture, won't last. Just don't.

I bought a large sectional sofa there in June 2020. 2.5 years later it looks 20 years old, is broken in several spots, creaks, the fabric is wearing through and the cushions are completely deformed. The fabric under the cushions is so cheap it tears the first time you remove a cushion (they're velcroed down). I tried multiple times to get service to get them fixed or replaced, and after over a year of trying I just gave up. We're now tossing and replacing a less than 3 year old $2500 sofa.

Structube's furniture is complete garbage, and their service is worse. Avoid it.

Unsustainable business practices

Terrible quality product and they don't offer sale of replacement parts. Had to throw out an entire sofa (bought just over a year ago) due to one side breaking.

The free shipping is false

The free shipping is false even for Quebec customers. It even says free shipping on my 'online' order in a big bold red banner. Took hours in order to talk to someone at head office. They do have a section where they say they will charge, but you have to search a lot...
I contacted the consumer protection agency in Quebec. They are well aware of this practice from Structube, many many complaints...

Don't sit on the couch

Products are inexpensive because zero quality. Sectional couch started creaking, sinking and falling apart within a month: too late (and too onerous) to attempt return.

The worst place to buy furniture

The worst place to buy furniture. No customer service whatsoever. I have been waiting for a refund for 1 month and a half now (due to a mistake that they have made) and didn't receive anything yet!
Even though they promised me to receive a refund i. 5 to 10 business days... that was 1 month ago!
No replies, no one gives you a direct answer, no customer service.... nothing... never again!

Never again

Never again! Purchased A a mattress and a bed frame 23 days ago still waiting for it. Even though all the store have in Vancouver what I ordered. They have to send it from Montreal! Zero customer satisfaction! I will never buy a single thing from there again. If you wanna have the same experience, go for it!

In January I ordered the Kanji chair in teak to go along with the same chair, in the same colour I purchased in the summer. Structube delivered the chair to me in the walnut finish. I called and setup a return. Structube is forcing me to pay for the return to the tune of $78. The several customer service reps I have interacted with insist they sent me the teak finish. The box does have the order sku number for teak, but the chair in the box is walnut. Anyway, I have no choice to pay for the return so that I can recoup the rest of the money. This is a company that does not do the right thing.

Bad customer service

Sofa looks great. However, it started sinking in from day 10 on. Their policy requires to inform within 7 days of purchase. Since my issues started after 10 days of product use, I’m now stuck with this garbage sofa worth $1200 occupying space and no way to repair it!
