We were a bit disappointed in our tour, however overall we enjoyed it. The street food market walking tour in Palermo as advertised was a meal in a restaurant, didn't get to go to the markets. The tour guide in Palermo was not very good.
The trip to mount Etna was really disorganised. Our guide did not have anything organised when we got to Etna or any information what to do. We had to queue for ages for tickets, pay 50 Euro to get to see anything and didn't have enough time to go right to the top. This should have been included in the tour as was advertised.
When we got to Lipari, our trip to Salina was replaced with a trip to Vulcano without any explanation, just vouchers delivered to our hotel. We probably wouldn't have been disappointed if the reason for cancelling was communicated to us.
The hotels were all good. Enjoyed the small size of the group.
The tour guide was very inexperienced. We only had her for 2 days, the rest of the time we were on our own which was better.

Clients had an issue with hotel in Malta and the staff
helped rectify this.

The tour guide from Spain is less experienced. When he was asked about touring information, for example Sevilla, Ronda, he would tell us to ask other people because he is not familiar with the area.
The Oum Palace hotel in Casablanca is very disappointing because the air conditioning was not working properly, the room is so dirty, skin of cardboard is peeling off, and particularly too many fruit flies were hanging over the veggie salad.
On day 10, we’re supposed to be offered breakfast, but no one liaisons for us and we were only fed until dinner in Oum Palace, where as I said the food quality was so poor.
For some tours in Morocco, we were only brought to have a look in the bus and we couldn’t got off the bus to do the in depth tour.
As a whole, I am not satisfied with the quality of this trip.

The cruise on the Adriatic Sea from Dubrovnik to split for five days was a wonderful experience.
The size of the boat the And size of The rooms/ cabins was excellent , the food and variety magnificent places where we were able to stop and swim in the CrystalClearwater of the Adriatic was nothing short of sensational , some of the tours and islands that we stopped at were mind blowing to see the history going back hundreds and thousands of years. Croatia is certainly a place that I would put on everyone’s recommended bucket list..

What didn’t go wrong!!
They were supposed to pick us up at Ljubljana train station. They were not there and we had to walk to our hotel (just as well we are experienced travellers and had Maps on our phone) and further there were no details re pick up point - ‘pick up at train station’ doesn’t cut it.
Walking tour of Ljubljana was not in the afternoon as per itinerary but rather in the morning. Fortunately, we went to reception to query if there had been any contact from Sun Island and found the group getting ready for the morning tour - the one and only.
Next day a tour to Lake Bled - no mention of a castle tour or gorge walk. Both were good but many would have been physically challenged by the very steep path to the castle and the stairs at the gorge. Wasn’t a problem for us.
Finally on arrival in Split our hotel room had been booked for the following day and there were no rooms left.
Whatever you do, never use Sun Island Tours or Katarina Line their local agent??

I have yet to do the tour, but i have made several contact with Sun Island Tours and they have been very helpful.

I wanted to know approximately what time a tour would arrive back in Lisbon. I was given the itinerary, which has no times attached. I appreciate due to traffic, breakdowns the arrival time may change , but still thought as this is a common tour , a time "ie btwn 2 -4 pm" or similiar could have been provided.
