Needed Better Customer Support
Dealing with T-Mobile has been a mixed bag for me. While their service is decent, the customer support is frustratingly slow. I reached out with a simple question and ended up waiting on hold for ages. It’s just disappointing when you need help quickly.
T-MOBILE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS, DOESN'T COMPLY WITH ITS PROMISES AND HAVE EXAGERATED PRICES, DO NOT MAKE BUSINESS WITH T-MOBILE.
PLEASE, DO NOT GET ANY SERVICE FROM T-MOBILE, I'VE BEEN WITH T-MOBILE FOR 20 YEARS, I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE BEFORE MY JUNE PAYMENT TO AVOID THE LATE FEE, AND THE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME I WASN'T GOING TO GET CHARGED FOR LATE FEE, AND I WAS CHARGED FOR THE LATE FEE, AND I STILL PAID ON TIME, I PAID ONE DAY AFTER MY DUE DATE SINCE I HAD A GRACE PERIOD OF SOME DAYS, AND WHEN I CALLED TO GET THAT LATE FEE FIXED, THEY GAVE ME A LIE SAYING THAT THE GRACE PERIOD ENDS ON YOUR DUE DATE, IT WAS EXACTLY $14.04, THEY ALSO TOLD ME THAT IF I DIDN'T PAY I WAS GOING TO GET MY SERVICE DISCONECTED AND THAT I HAD TO PAY ANOTHER $20.00 TO GET MY SERVICE BACK ON, I WISH IT'LL SHOW ZERO STARS, BUT, UNFORTUNATELY, IT DOESN'T, SO I HAD TO PUT ONE STAR, BUT, T-MOBILE CHARGES ARE EXAGGERATED AND THEY DON'T COMPLY WITH THEIR PROMISES, PLEASE, GET ALL THE INFORMATION YOU WANT BEFORE GETTING SERVICE FROM T-MOBILE AND IF YOU'RE NOT HAPPY WITH THE ANSWERS, THEN GO TO ANOTHER PHONE SERVICE COMPANY, T-MOBILE ISN'T THE ONLY PHONE SERVICE COMPANY, T-MOBILE DOESN'T COMPLY WITH ITS PROMISES I REPEAT, AND ITS PRICES ARE TOO HIGH, THANK YOU.

False advertisement
I switched over 5 lines from Verizon in November 2025 and I haven't received my all of my Sam's Club rebates as of today July 24,2026. The customer service is the WORSE!
Tmobile is the worst internet provider…
Tmobile is the worst internet provider I've had since dial up. They don't stand behind any of their promotional promises or app. Terrible customer service and no respect for the individual
Evil has a new standard bearer
If you ranked every company in the history of the world in order of the absolute most diabolically evil, T-Mobile would be at the top of the list. If the devil himself partnered with Hitler to start a wireless company, the result would still rank second place at best, behind the rotting, maggot-infested corpse of corporate malfeasance that defines this insipid wireless company even Sauron wouldn't dare to operate. The English language lacks any words sufficient to define the horrifically malevolent conglomeration of putrid pink bile that defiles the letter T by its very existence. You could search the bowels of hell for the remainder of eternity, but you will never discover anything more reprehensible than this wretched company.
I have never experienced customer…
I have never experienced customer service as frustrating as T-Mobile’s.
I canceled my service, yet somehow I’m being told I’m responsible for returning old, outdated devices instead of the new device that was actually sent to me. The entire process has been confusing, and no one seems able to provide a clear or consistent answer.
What’s even more frustrating is that the retail stores can’t help. Every issue has to be handled over the phone, and every single call lasts well over an hour. I’ve spent countless hours repeating my situation to different representatives, getting transferred, and starting over.
It’s gotten to the point where I won’t even continue a call until I have the representative’s full name and employee ID because I’ve been disconnected or transferred so many times without any resolution. I shouldn’t have to document every conversation just to protect myself.
For a company this large, the customer service experience is unacceptable. Returning a device and closing an account should be simple—not something that consumes hours of my time with no clear resolution. T-Mobile needs to empower its stores to actually help customers and improve the communication between departments.
And let’s be clear I still have my cell and home Internet service with them, for now…
T-Mobile Greedy No-service Company
I'd been with T-Mobile for 8 years. The cost had increased repeatedly and had reached the point where it wasn't worth it. I went to the store to cancel and 'they couldn't do it now ' so I waited a week and went back. Cancelled everything through the store and they said I was good to go. T-Mobile immediately cut access to their t-life app. 23 days later I got contacted by a collection agency saying I owed an additional $93. Then on top of that, they said there was a $25 late payment fee imposed by T-Mobile. I never got a bill, I was told all was good when I cancelled and these crooks turned things over to collections without even trying to contact me and without any explanation. T-Mobile has turned from a lower cost customer friendly company into a high cost greedy customer no-service company. Lots of alternatives out there, use them instead.
If I could give them less than 1 star
If I could give them less than 1 star, I would.
Went to T-Mobile to get a new back up phone. 2 hours in Walmart and I finally had a phone. I sent text messages to my contacts updating the phone number. No one responded. I had a friend that was with me send me a text. He received an angry text back telling him he is tired of getting more text messengers for somebody named Mark. Several hour fifteen tech support and they were unable to remedy the problem.
The next day I went back to walmart and they replaced in the phone. That was a three hour experience. That phone dropped calls almost immediately after the person receiving the call answered. At this point I was done. Between 2 nonfliouting phones in 24 hours, I spent eight hours of that dealing with phone problems. There was a fifteen day return policy on the phone. I return to fifteen hours of receiving the last phone. They refunded my money , but now I have a collection agency trying to get 122 dollars from me. Apparently, everything teacher is based in india. Stay this far away from T mobile as you can. Nothing but scammers and thieves.
These people are horrendous
These people are horrendous. Everything is pass the bucket, call someone else, go to the store....
They say something is fixed and the next month it's back to the same billing problem. They used to be great. Not anymore.
I was forced to switch with them as my…
I was forced to switch with them as my old fiber company Lumos, which was a great company merged with them, and I have had so many problems since then, I'm paying for 1 Gig speed, and have had several nights after an outage of only 3-7 mps, I've called multiple times and they said someone would be out today to replace my router as they say I need their router not the old companies, well why wasn't that done when I was merged over? It's been months since then, and I haven't heard from anyone about coming today like they said I would, I've never seen a business with such bad reviews how are they still in operation, and looks like a lot of the people on here are having similar issues as I am, those commercials are a complete lie lol, I know one thing they will never get my business as a mobile carrier and if another fiber company comes to town I'm switching even if it cost more.
Worst company ever
Worst company ever. Promised no rate increases and raises them every year. The largest network with the worst coverage.
Sold out to big corporations and don’t need American families anymore.
It take 15+ minutes to talk to someone.
It take 15+ minutes to talk to someone.
Their spam app is useless. I get over 15 spam calls a day even with their spam blocker.
First Responder Bait and Switch
I migrated my entire service over to the First Responder plan as a law enforcement officer. I tried to do this in the store, but they basically are unable to do anything in the store except sell you phones. After 30 minutes on the phone, I was also told that person could not help me because I selected the First Responder plan, so I restarted the process with another person. 30 minutes later, I had transferred the service but needed to verify my status. However, I was then denied the discount because I work federally, which is nowhere on the main page for this plan. So now I am paying $50 a month extra and am stuck with this plan or must pay heavy fees to break the contract.
I have had poor service connection on…
I’ve been with T-Mobile for many years and have always been satisfied, but recently the service has been consistently poor. Calls drop, data speeds are unreliable, and all of my lines have experienced weak connections. When I reached out for help, I was told that if I wanted a better 5G experience, I would need to pay for a more expensive plan. Customers shouldn’t have to upgrade just to receive the level of service they’re already paying for. I hope T-Mobile takes these concerns seriously and improves both its network and customer support.
T Mobile has thousands of 1 star…
T Mobile has thousands of 1 star reviews for valid
reasons! My complaint is same as everyone elses! We
legitimately should not owe more than the transfer
fees from old to new phones (bought outside of
TMobile at APPLE Store-told by both TMobile and
Apple that the transfer fees would be $10/phone plus
tax, “as that is usual with all companies”). Never given
any price different! I’m a senior and first opened our
account with T-Mobile more than 10 years ago with the
plan they said “would never change as a senior plan
with one additional phone added for the total price of
$70 per month to include all tax and fees”. It was
called the “OnePlus plan”. Then just last year, I
received text from T-Mobile with usual monthly “auto
debit” text (I had set up auto debit from my bank
account when we opened the T Mobile account 10+ yrs ago- so just last year-in 2025,that “rate had gone up to 80+ fees.” THEN LAST
MONTH received text saying “rate was increasing
again,” but it did not give the full amount. At this point,
I decided to change companies because this is no
way to do business. Very dishonest! I then called T-
Mobile to tell them I did not wish to keep the plan and
asked if there was a cheaper plan to go to at which
point I was told that they “had sent out an email the
year before and again this year, giving ALL SENIORS who
had OnePlus plan choices to pick a different plan and
if you did not do so it would default to the highest
here of all their plans !” I was told that switching the
phones to new would be standard $10 transfer fee per
phone. This is the same information I’ve gotten from
other service providers. So we bought 2 new phones
from Apple Store and proceeded within 1-2 weeks to
switch to Consumer Cellular which we have now! (GOOD PRICE AND GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE SO FAR WITH CONSUMER CELLULAR). 'Tried
to straighten out $168. bill with T-Mobile-spent 3 hrs
on phone, BEING PUT ON HOLD CONSTANTLY, being disconnected, no progress, and should not owe more
than: $10.x2 plus tax and pro-rate of 3 days of TMobile
coverage if that because cut off (billing cycle) day couldn't even be verified by T Mobile! TOTAL SHOULD HAVE BEEN $25.78+$9 (2-4 days
max of next cycle)=$34.78 MAX! It’s a racket! Stay away from T Mobile! They also have a 1 star review overall ratings on social media, etc.. That tells you something! But absolutely horrible what they do to seniors upping the rates w/ agreement, and defaulting to their highest tier plan! NOTE: We never received the so called email that they stated would have given the chance to make choice for lower plan! Just dishonest all the way!
Terrible now my bill is more expensive…
Terrible now my bill is more expensive t mobile you suck I will and if you want a payment arrangement they have to shut your lines down so they can charge you 20 per line then you can get a payment arrangement i reported this and im willing to take t mobile to court for false advertising and for robbing people
I would give less if I could
I would give less if I could. I damaged my phone and when I received my replacement they said in order to activate the esim the primary account holder would need to call he was out of town at work in the middle of nowhere at night and he called and instead of activating my number they swapped my boyfriend's number into my replacement phone leaving him with no service and when trying to reach out they stated they needed to speak with the primary account holder even though they disconnected him and refused to speak with me because I didn't know his pin number he used for verification
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Stores are packed with lines, the switch from US Cellular to T Mobile was not well calculated or implemented. Wait time on the phone w customer service is a half hour. They hang up on you not even a minute into the call and have no US Cellular customers in their system even though they are the lead carrier. This company isn't ready to handle the merger. US Cellular had their issues, but nothing compared to this company. I will be cancelling a 25 year relationship with USC due to being purchased by T Mobile. Insurance claims you are given conflicting information and the run around.
Promoted Speeds vs Real Speeds
I think it said 150mbps give or take. I'm currently getting between 11.2 and 12 mbps across multiple speed test site. That's an embarrassing discrepancy, truly disappointing.
